The property was beautiful and decently clean. However there is no air conditioning…. It was pretty hot even in the evening when it was 45-55 degrees at night with the windows open. Heavy pollen count so if you have allergies there was quite a bit coming in from the windows open. It did not cool well to sleep comfortably. We bought a fan and used the ceiling fans as well. The shaggy carpet in all the rooms didn’t make it for a cool environment. We had 5 of us stay and it was great for large family. Tucked away in a beautiful neighborhood. Felt save. We had rented two more homes in the same neighborhood. The view from this place was difficult to see the mountains because of the big tree in front of the living room window. We had a wonderful family trip despite the very hot sleeping conditions.

our group of 12 guys booked a large home once again through winter park lodging and they came through with 5-star service once again. the home was clean and the hot tub was serviced every other day. we had a great check in and check out experience once again.

This was the most amazing experience for our family. Perfect house to entertain kids and adults. Beautiful home with all necessary amenities. We stayed here the week of Christmas and there was a tree for us to put our presents under. My grandkids asked if we could come back next year. WP Lodging came and serviced the hot tub every three days and they checked on us almost daily for anything we needed. I will be using them again. Thank you WP Lodging for everything!

The house was perfect for our large family vacation. Four families easily fit in the house with plenty of space to spread out. The kids have a large bunk room and playroom. The adults all got king bedroom suites and enjoyed lounging in the living room.
The house is conveniently located minutes from the Winter Park Resort and just 10 minutes from downtown Winter Park.
Highly recommend!

Beautiful property, perfect for large groups. It was easy for our new skiers to ski out on greens but we could not find an easy/green trail back to the Mary Jane base so we had to drive over to pick those skiiers up from the other base.

This place is perfect for a group. We were 4 families along with some help. 4 of the 5 beds have master beds with in suite baths. The bunk room can fit about 11 people in beds with a bathroom next door. Ski in was very easy. Ski out was putting your skis on in the driveway and you could go a couple different ways with ease. The Mary Jane lodge is an easy walk to pick up ticket. We loved it@!

Wonderful inside space. Bath which each bedroom. Lots of eating areas. Gated for safety. Nice fireplace. We really enjoyed our stay. Skiing on the weekends is very busy.

We stayed over Xmas week with another family. The house is warm and inviting, and nice. The kitchen is perfectly laid out for large gatherings, with plenty of adjacent dining. Similarly, the living room is capable of handling large groups and is attached to the kitchen. The main floor of this house is very well thought out and comfortable. As for location, a few points to know. This is a close second best (maybe tied for 1st) ski in / out location there is, with only the main winter park base taking first. We could literally ski out from the garage and back to the end of the driveway.
A few negatives to know:
Skiing home or out is not for beginner or novice skiers. You are taking challenging blues or better to get back to the house. our kids did fine, but they are indestructible ski machines.
If you need to leave the house between 3:00PM & 5:00PM you are not going anywhere...traffic exiting Mary Jane base is a zoo.
The road to the house from the main road is...interesting...and it is not a quick commute to get to town, but not terrible either. On the plus side, we saw a wolf and a fox...pretty cool.
Having a hot tub was great but a house capable of holding 8 + adults really should have a bigger tub. The one currently in place can hold 3 comfortably, 4 in tight quarters. I would expect for a house like this in this price point to have a serious size tub.
We loved it and are already inquiring on booking again for next year.

227 Bridger Trail Home & Winter Park Lodging Company Review
This is the 5th time we booked a vacation rental through Winter Park Lodging Company. That's because they have earned our trust. They have been top notch with their service and the properties they maintain have been in great condition. However, that was not the case with this rental. I do not know if the COVID pandemic had anything to do with it. We paid $5100 for a 4 day rental for this home. The home was below par, the dining table chairs were all broken and hence we couldn't use it. It's pretty much junk. When we reported this to the lodging office the polite response was "we couldn't sit in every chair to find out the problems...it's the renters who have to notify us". That was not the response i expected because as a property management company they should do routine inspections and tell the owners to either fix or update damaged furniture. These homes are not cheap to rent and so the expectations would be high. The garage had lots of sand and it wasn't cleaned properly. The bathroom sinks in atleast 3 bathrooms were not draining properly and had to call and complain. WP lodging did respond immediately and had the maintenance person come to pour some drano type liquid. However, atleast one of the sinks started having the same issue by the time we were leaving. On the day of our check-in we were told by WP lodging that one of the dishwasher wasn't working. When you have 16 people in the home like we did, one dishwasher wasn't enough and the second dishwasher should have been fixed or replaced. So we ended up spending a lot of time washing the dishes with our hands when only one dishwasher was available. Finally, when we decided to do BBQ using the grill in the porch...we found out the propane cylinder was empty. Since we had everything marinated and it was past 6 pm the WP lodging office was closed and hence we could only leave a message. I wouldn't blame this on the owner of the home as it squarely rests on the property management company to make sure the tanks are full prior to any rental. We will not rent this home until all the required maintenance and upgrades are completed.
Now, with regard to WinterPark lodging company itself, I will consider it as a failure in this particular case as my trust in them that they have built over the years has certainly taken a hit. I will certainly rent from them again BUT will be asking all kinds of questions before finalizing a rental home.
Their exceptional service still exists in bits and pieces...for example, when we returned home after our vacation we noticed that we left an important utensil at the rental home and they were kind enough to ship it back to our home at their cost. To me that's the kind of service I have known Winter Park lodging company for and why I would rent from them again. I just hope their maintenance of the rental properties also gets the same kind of attention.

Fantastic Ski Trip!
Bridger's Cache is perfectly situated in the Mary Jane area of Winter Park and was a great home base for our group of 13 people. The skiers enjoyed the ski in/ski out access to explore all parts of the mountain and we were fortunate to have perfect conditions Others enjoyed hiking along the Continental Divide and cross-country skiing at Devil's Thumb Ranch. When at home, the kids enjoyed their own level that consisted of the bunk room, bathroom, and extra lounge area (the foosball table was a hit!). The main level was a great spot for the adults to lounge and unwind by the fireplace and under the watchful eye of the moose.
Winter Park Lodging Company was exceptional to work with throughout the entire process. Reservations were easy online and offered maximum flexibility, which was important especially during this COVID era. Before arriving, they proactively communicated regarding changing reservation protocols and remained in touch throughout our entire stay to quickly address various things in the house (e.g. dishwasher, hot tub, etc.).
We enjoyed our stay Bridger's Cache and highly recommend the Winter Park resort and working with the Winter Park Lodging Company!

The home was located perfectly for easy access to both Mary Jane and Winter Park ski areas. The large living areas and multiple bedrooms were great for our group of two families with young children. The home could use a bit of updating - the bed linens, cookware and hot tub were dated and well-used. But overall, we enjoyed the stay and found the management company very attentive.

Wonderful stay & top notch service
Very easy to navigate check-in/house info, via app, as well as easy text service for anything needed during stay. All accesses were codes (no keys!!, no checking in, so easy!!) and service was very prompt with the couple tiny issues we had. Would definitely stay with Winter Park Lodging Company again.

The property was exactly like listed and just beautiful. We had everything we needed including sleds, games, and kitchen well stocked. We were in a gated neighborhood and the snow plows were available and working throughout the day. A perfect family get-a-way.

Excellent
Property was outstanding and the management company did a fantastic job responding to our questions and concerns. We had an issue with the Master bathroom shower and the main floor bedroom was difficult to regulate the temperature.

Absoultley Wonderful!
We had a fantastic experience renting this home. The photos do not do it justice, its beautiful and the location is superb. The staff was incredibly helpful and the rental and checkin process was very easy. We plan to rent this home again, it was stunning.

Great place, responsive management
Overall we had a great experience. We noticed some issues with the state of the rental house upon arrival, and then contacted the management company. The management company was professional and responded quickly to address the concerns the following day. They also provided a partial refund to compensate for the inconvenience. Despite these minor issues, the house is as described in the listing and very comfortable for large groups. Despite the open floor plan, the bedrooms are quiet. The kitchen is fantastic. Proximity to winter park resort is a major plus.
4.8
Wonderful Vacation Lodge
We spent a glorious week at Bridger's Cache Ski Lodge. We had a group of 15 and the home was perfect for our large family. The location was great and allowed quick access to the slopes for all level of skiers. Our family loved the hot tub, as it was a perfect way to relax after a hard day of skiing. We would definitely stay here again! Our only suggestion would be to have another refrigerator, maybe in the garage or lower level. With such a large group, we ran out of refrigerator space.
4.8
Extremely comfortable ski in/ski out
This place is so relaxing and comfortable. Absolutely every amenity you could want, and the living room and kitchen are perfect for large groups! The hot tub could be slightly larger but other than that the house was beautiful and easy to get in and out of.
4.8
The house was beautiful
The house was beautiful and winter park lodging personnel was very kind. The only problem we had was the hot water. The water would be warm for about 2 minutes and then turn cold. The plumber came and worked on it 2 different times but it was never fixed while we were there. Al was very kind and apologetic and tried to resolve the problem. We had 15 people in our group and the house accommodated us well.

Family vacation
Our choice for our 10 person family vacation, was Bridger's Cache. Needless to say, it was a perfect choice. Ranging in ages from 19 to 76, there was ample space for all, with all of the modern, up to date conveniences, that you could ask for. Plenty of meals were cooked in the kitchen, on new and first rate appliances. The hot-tub was the skier's favorite evening retreat. A small problem arose with one of the showers, Winter Park Lodging Company was quick to solve it. A very friendly and efficient staff to deal with. We would definitely come back!
MANAGER COMMENTS: Excellent Frank! We are all so pleased everyone enjoyed stay with us at Bridgers Cache and that we could help out with the shower quickly. Please contact us when you're back this way....we'd love to host you again.
4.8
Fantastic house very close to the mountain
We rented this house for an annual ski trip and it was everything we could have asked for. It was about a 7 minute walk to the mountain and we found a little trail that allowed us to ski in to the house at the end of the day. It is a true ski IN house.
The house itself was laid out very well. The kitchen/living/family room allowed 10 people to easily sit around and enjoy each other's company. Rooms were great sizes and very well done.
The only drawback with this house is the hot tub. All parties did not understand how a house accommodating 8-14 people would only have a 4 person hot tub. If that hot tub gets upgraded it would literally be the best house I have stayed at in the past 10 years.
4.8
We are very happy with
We are very happy with your service and quick response to problem with the original house. We were very pleased that we could get in a little early, it really makes things easier. Our best to all concerned. Please feel free to share our comments.
MANAGER COMMENTS: Great! We were all so pleased we could find a place to accommodate you with a working hot water heater. Fairly important when you're someplace cold already! Thanks again for all your flexibility and we do hope to get to host you again Richard.

Luxurious accommodations
The home is so beautiful! It is well stocked with everything you will need. If you are looking for a large place to vacation in style, this home is the place for you. We made a call to request assistance in lighting the gas fireplace. Someone was sent right away. We spent our Thanksgiving here and skied everyday of our stay. There are so many bonus features in this home.
MANAGER COMMENTS: Wonderful! We are so excited to hear that. It is a very special home. So glad we could help out with making it cozier for you. Please give us a call when you come back this way.
