This two story year round cottage is on a quiet lot at the tip of Lobster Cove in Boothbay Harbor with tidal frontage! Swim from the rocky shore, or just dip your toes in to the cool Atlantic waters at high tide. At low tide explore the exposed rocks and hidden wonders of a Maine tidal cove.
Relax on the 10' x 24' front deck and watch the tide as it comes and goes. This home offers a King size bed in the second floor master bedroom, and a first floor bedroom with a queen size bed. Walk a 1/2 mile to the east side of the harbor for fresh cooked lobster dock side (or get live ones to go), or continue across the foot bridge to down town for shopping, dining, boating excursions, and entertainment.

Our stay at Lobster Cove cottage was nothing short of perfect. Nestled on a peaceful cove surrounded by nature, the location is truly serene. Yet, despite its tranquil setting, the cottage is within walking distance to the harbor and its shops and restaurants.
The cottage was clean, well-stocked and thoughtfully furnished, making it feel like a true home away from home. We can’t wait to return to Lobster Cove!

Great location, very responsive and available owner (David). Very comfortable home with additional sitting area upstairs for privacy. Well stocked for meals. Location provides tidal basin up close and personal at “high” tide. Down the street (1/4 Mike) is beautiful Barrett waterfront park. Great seafood restaurants all around downtown. Don’t forget to do the Cabbage Island clambake. It’s terrific. Thank David and Linda for a very enjoyable 2 weeks in beautiful Boothbay Harbor😎

The cottage was wonderful! Clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Dave and Linda met us there when we arrived and filled us in on the specifics, gave us some tips on restaurants, activities and told us about the small park about a block away - a very warm welcome. We stayed three weeks and enjoyed every minute - the deck was Lee's favorite, and she spent a good amount of time out there reading and enjoying the scenery. The whole place is nothing but comfort and relaxation.

My wife and I along with our Jack Russell thoroughly. enjoyed our stay at Lobster Cove Cottage. David was extremely pleasant and helpful making checkin a breeze. The home was as described very comfortable and clean. Being located right on the cove was an absolute surprise bonus. We knew it would be nice but had no idea just how nice. Everyday we found time to sit and watch all the bird activity. Watching the ducks, cormorants, and especially the Blue Herons was such a added treat for us. The cottage is located close to many Maine attractions. We found ourselves hiking almost every day. Boothbay Harbor is only a half mile away making it extremely convenient. Lobster Cove Cottage is a place we hope to return to.

After enjoying a week at the Foster cottage, we overlooked 2 shopping bags as we packed up for our trip home. David promptly notified us, packaged the items and mailed them to us. A kindness we will always remember.

This was our 6th time at the Foster Cottage. The host is always available for any concerns. The weather was great if a little unseasonably hot and humid. Took a picture of a Bald Eagle 'fishing' in the cove from the deck of the house.
Saw the Scottish Group, Herron Bay, at the Boothbay Opera House. All and all a great stay.

Very nice, well-equipped house in a quiet neighborhood near the park. We enjoyed exploring the town and area around Boothbay. The Boothbay Botanical Garden is a very special place.
David was easily available and helpful both before and after we arrived.

This was our 6 stay at the property. The location allows walking into BoothBay and to Barrett Park. Great spot to also take day trips to other locations. Sit by the water and enjoy nature and watch the tides come and go.

A delightful and beautiful week stay at this cottage very near everything. Quiet and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. The deck is relaxing as you oversee the slow steady rhythm of the tide as it quietly enters and then exits Lobster Cove each day.

My husband, son and mother stayed for a week in Boothbay. David was great to work with upon check-in and let us know he was available throughout our stay should we need him!

We had such an enjoyable stay at the Foster's property. The house was lovely and in a great location. It was a short easy walk to the center of town with great shopping and restaurants. Boothbay is an easy drive to other Maine locations for shopping, hiking, restaurants and lighthouses. Dave and Linda are great hosts and their property was very clean and well maintained. We would definately stay here again.

Beautiful cottage tucked in the woods! 2 bedroom 2 bath home was perfect for two couples. We’ll stocked kitchen great deck overlooking the water all made for a wonderful stay! Priced very affordable for what you get would highly recommend this property and would definitely come back!

We have stayed in this cottage many times but this was the first time we could get it during COVID. The owners have always been extremely accommodating and have upgraded the cottage over the years. We are already talking about going back next year if we can.

Great stay near all attractions
We stayed for a week of enjoying the talk colors and time with nearby friends. The home was well equipped for cooking and bed linens. Two different living spaces was nice. Large lawn with pleasant seating overlooking the water. Well worth the time and money

Peace and Serenity
The house was situated in a great location. We loved the beautiful park just a short walk away. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the tidal river, listening to the birds and the rustling leaves. The property was well cared for and very neat and clean. We had all the appliances we needed in the kitchen, although most evenings we treated ourselves to the bountiful seafood in town. We would definitely return.

Perfect location and house
We are a couple that likes to kayak, bike and walk and all that was right there. We put in at the cove and walked in the reserve right up the street. Boothbay was also close by with restaurants and shops. The house was very comfortable with a king sized bed and nice bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked also. There's a large deck of course.

Perfect place to relax and convenient to many locations
My sisters and I had a wonderful stay at Lobster Cottage. We walked to Booth Bay center for shopping and great dining. We visited Damariscotta, Camden and Pemaquid Beach, all within an hours drive. Mostly we enjoyed morning coffee on the deck and cocktails by the water. Perfect vacation!

We were very happy with the location of this property - on the water so we could use our kayaks and close to town. The property was well stocked. I would suggest more comfortable couches for hanging in the cabin.

Perfect
Fosters cottage was ideal. Plenty of room for 2 couples to be separate although it was just me & my husband & our pup. The property was beautiful & our pup enjoyed a few swims with the ducks. Cottage has everything you could ask for. Used the downstairs mostly (bed very comfy) but beautiful 2nd bedroom, bath & sitting room upstairs as well. Pleasant walk to downtown Boothbay Harbor & the park down the road is spectacular! Our pup swam there as well & made lots of friends there & it's a great swimming spot for people too!
The kitchen is real nice... good appliances &washer dryer too.
Very clean.
The deck is lovely & had ample comfy furniture for lounging & for dining.
We'd definitely stay here again &/or recommend it to friends & family.

Great cottage, great location!
After looking at many homes / cottages we were so glad we took this one! Right from the start the owner was so good about answering all our questions. The response time was lightning fast! The house is very comfortable and super clean! I ended up bringing several items from home I really didn't need as the house is very well stocked for cooking, sleeping etc. I even brought my martini glasses and shaker! Didn't need them! Seriously, before you cart stuff from home ... ask the owner!! We only used one of the bedrooms as there were just the two of us but the bed was extremely comfortable. There is a wonderful deck area to sit and watch the herons and kingfishers in the tidal cove at the bottom of the property. We were also able to bring our two small dogs which was a big plus for us. The dogs were very happy to be with us as we were with them. They really enjoyed sitting out on the deck which has a swinging door that can keep them confined to the deck. I would highly recommend this cottage if your travels take you to Boothbay! It really helped make a good trip a great trip!!

Fantastic stay at Lobster Cove
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful property on a tidal river. The house was clean, well-stocked and just as advertised. It was peaceful but in a central location, walking distance to a beautiful park with swimming, restaurants on the pier and town. We enjoyed sitting on the deck or by the river -- and went swimming in the park almost every day. We can highly recommend this property and hope to return soon!

Great area, visit and property.
The property was just as advertised. The location was wonderful for either walking or driving to town as well as other destinations in the area. It had VERY comfortable beds with a well-equipped kitchen and laundry. It would have been nice to have just a little laundry detergent and bath soap to start the visit. We absolutely loved our visit and so much of that enjoyment came from being in the Foster's cottage on Lobster Cove. Thank you very much. :-}

Very Nice Cottage!
Great location close to town but still private enough to enjoy the Maine experience. Great communication from the Owners. Very clean with up to date amenities. Next year will be our 50th year vacation in Boothbay so we didn't need much hand holding but the owners made it clear they were close by if we needed anything or if we had any questions. Had a great stay.

Relaxation fun at Lobser Cove Cottage
The cottage was very homey and comfortable. Everything we needed was available. Our granddaughter decided the couch was more comfortable than the sofa bed.
We got fresh lobsters and cooked them and had a feast!
The town was so close, and we had great fun exploring. We would highly recommend Lobster Cove cottage to anyone who wants a quiet and relaxing vacation.

Perfect in every way!
My husband and I (from DownEast Maine) and my sister (from Albany NY)!planned a Christmas get together at this perfect cottage. Our annual pilgrimage to the Gardens Aglow was the reason for our visit. Our Christmas dinner was easily prepared in the well stocked kitchen as was our morning coffee. The cottage was spacious with plenty of comfortable seating. David and Linda provided us with everything we needed including a "casual" check in considering the off season visit. Did I mention the setting? Absolutely beautiful! My husband and I enjoyed our morning walk on the Boothbay Region Land Trust trails just down the road. Given the time of the year we chose to drive downtown but a walk over the footbridge is not out of the question. Highly recommend a visit!

Perfect Getaway!
Lobster Cove Cottage is the perfect slice of paradise. From the moment we arrived it was so peaceful. In the mornings, we enjoyed sitting on the back deck and listening to the birds while drinking our coffee. Lots to see and do close by including many delicious seafood restaurants. Charming details abound through out the cottage leading to a real vacation feel. Looking forward to visiting again!

Great Girls' Getaway
I, along with three of my friends, spent a wonderful week at Lobster Cove. The house was just as described. Check-in and all contact with the Fosters was easy and efficient. The house was very clean, comfortably furnished, quiet and close to downtown. The walk into town is about a mile and easy for those accustomed to walking a bit--there's a park on the way. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The house is very convenient to grocery and restaurants. The deck, the swing and the adirondack chairs near the water are comfortable and provide a great place to relax and read! We had coffee most mornings on the deck!

A Perfect Place to Stay in Boothbay Harbor
We thought the location was ideal and the shady deck was always cool and comfortable, great for having a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine and reading a book in the late afternoon. The combination of seclusion and nearness to the town was fantastic. As far as the cottage was concerned we found it to be comfortable, clean, well outfitted, and very charming. In short we loved every minute of our stay. Very highly recommended.
