About this house rental

**Note: If the resort closes due to Covid, and you do not occupy the home, you will receive a full refund for the unused dates. This was our practice during the shutdown in March and April 2020, and we will continue it.**

Enjoy staying in the Lewis Ranch ski community at Copper Mountain! This 5,100+ sq/ft home has custom reclaimed wood doors, reclaimed oak floors, and reclaimed timbers throughout, along with four king suites, a bunk room with four queens, and a separate twin XL bunk. A gourmet kitchen, separate billiards room, lower level recreation room with TV/Video Game area, movie theater, loft and hot tub all await you within steps of the Lumberjack Ski Lift and slopes! Wonderful views of slopes and peaks!

There are 5 bedrooms+, including 4 king suites (two masters on the upper level and two others on the lower level, all with private bathrooms) and a bunk room with 4 queen beds (lower level - each bunk with built-in TV). There are 5 bathrooms (one for each bedroom) plus a powder room. There is also a twin XL bunk in the lower level (see picture).

We think all the properties in Lewis Ranch are wonderful. Here are some points about our home that may help you make a decision:

** The kitchen is large, well-equipped, and has two sinks, two dishwashers, Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, and an eating bar that has six stools and room to gather on the side without stools. Great for large groups and après ski appetizers!
** There is a Sub-Zero two-zone wine fridge in the great room wine bar cabinet.
** The movie theatre has a 110" screen and seats eight in comfortable leather reclining theatre chairs with cup holders. A selection of PG-13 to G rated movies are available for your use. There is also a beverage refrigerator and a microwave on the lower level for movie snacks.
** Our "billiards" or pool table room is a separate room on the main level that includes a beverage refrigerator and a microwave. You can see the hot tub from the pool table room - nice for watching children, and from the hot tub, you can see the TV in the pool table room - nice for staying up to date on games.
** The main level deck is large, with a significant portion covered for grilling when it is snowy or rainy. The deck has a hard-lined gas Weber grill, hot tub, fireplace, and a table and chairs, with additional furniture in the summer.
** The hot tub is a larger, comfortable size, nearly eight feet square, with upgraded jets.
** There are four king bedrooms, all with private bathrooms.
** The bunk room has four queen beds, each with a built in TV. The bunks are "in-line", which offers more privacy than having them across from each other.
** The twin bunk in the lower level TV/rec area has two XL twin beds (same length as a queen), which makes the house sleep more like a six bedroom than a five bedroom (which is why we say 5+ bedrooms).
**All TVs are "smart TVs".
**In addition to providing quality sheets, towels, and entertaining supplies, we endeavor to provide more than adequate paper towels, bathroom tissue, Kleenex, foil, plastic storage bags, dish soap, laundry soap, quality brand shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and generally everything you need other than yourselves and food!
** From outside the ski room, it is about 100 meters (we measured) to the Lumberjack lift area and slope. We think it is an easy, very short walk (no steep uphill - pretty flat). The home would be called "ski-in/ski-out" at other resorts because it is so close.
** The Copper Coach will pick you up for free on Beeler and take you anywhere in the resort.

We have stayed at four different Lewis Ranch properties. This one has by far the best finishes and has been the best maintained. So well equipped - anything you could want is here! Ski lift access is quite easy. Laurel and Chris were great to work with! We hope to come back again!

Man, this house had it all!! The best beds, hot tub, steps from the slopes and fully stocked!! The owners were amazing and able to help us with several extra needs/accommodations for our stay. The ski storage was perfect for multiple families and help keep all the ski equipment from getting mixed up between families/kids. Would love to come back and stay again. I would give this property 10 out of 5 stars.

This was our 2nd time at this beautiful property because it's so perfect for our family ski trip. Laurel has thought of everything for a large family week. Cooking for 12 people is easy with 2 crock pots, double oven, large refrigerator, lots of counter space, every type and size of pan and pot, plus it's stocked with all the spices, tin foil, saran wrap-- things you hate to have to buy for a week. We love the large island and open concept because you are all together while cooking. Our 25-36 yr old kids/in-laws love the hot tub, the pool table and theater room. And the beds are so comfortable, you literally sink into luxury after a long day. The large ski room is perfect for keeping everyone's ski/board gear out of the main house- it's a perfect set up. Oh-- and it saves us so much money on lunch as everyone can come back mid day as it's literally 300 steps from the house to the lift --which is so awesome! Thank you Laurel for sharing your wonderful home, and allowing our family to make such wonderful memories!

Great Property. Fully stocked Kitchen. Short walk to Lumber Jack Lift. Used the Copper Coach Shuttle to go to Center Village for shopping and East Village for snow tubing. Owners were really responsive. We will stay again!

The best part of our stay is that there was way more to do than just Ski. Everyone of our group of 17 had something to do for entertainment. You could stay at the house relax or watch movies, or you could go down to coppertown and shop. The best part was soaking in the hot tub after a day of skiing.

Our family stayed at this house, spanning 3 years to 78 years old, and it was very comfortable. Space in the basement for the kids, kitchen/living area for big meals and hanging out, and bathroom for each bedroom gave us all our personal space. The location was great as well- easy walk to the lifts.

This beautiful property exceeded the expectations of Mom, Dad, kids and grandkids. Location just a short (2 minute) walk from where you can put on skis and hop on one of three lifts or ski down to ski school without getting on a lift. Best side of the mountain for families. Shuttle service for the neighborhood was like having our personal driver on call. The property is beautifully appointed with quality appliances, fixtures, linens, etc. throughout. Property management is very thoughtful. I'm afraid we're now spoiled!

This home was built for our large family! We have 6 adult kids (& plus1's) and this home provided that each had their own bed with enough bathrooms. The kitchen and open floor plan was perfect for serving 14 people comfortably and for lounging and playing games around the table each night. The kitchen has everything you have at home and more, ( 2 crockpots were used daily!) and the 2 dishwashers ran everyday, sometimes twice, the large subzero frig was packed full on day one, and we did not have to go shopping again the entire 7 days. Staying 150 steps from the Lumberjack lift saved us so much money by not eating lunch on the mountain everyday and also saved by not spending 2 hours each day at JJ's as we used to do. The hot tub was a hit - a perfect way to end a ski day. The pool table and theater room provided something fun each night, and fun we had! Also the large ski room where all the gear fits - was perfectly thought out. The beds and bedding are top notch and we slept well. The owner was super responsive and kind. We have been skiing Copper for over 20 years and this was by far our favorite trip- We highly recommend this home! Thank you for sharing it with us!- The Laderer Family

We had a family gathering with 8 adults and 8 kids and this property answered the call for our needs!! The amenities are beautiful and everything worked as it should. The views from the main room are breathtaking and better than other properties we’ve rented in Lewis Ranch. The 1 minute walk to Lumberjack chair made it possible to save a lot of money by eating our lunches off the mountain. Can’t wait to visit this home again!!

We had a fantastic time at Roundabout Retreat for our annual friends & family ski vacation. The house is perfectly situated about 100 steps to the Lumberjack lift. Laurel & Chris are incredible hosts and were very prompt in all of the communication that we had, both via email and text. They have thought of everything when building this house. Each couple had their own private suite and the kids had a blast in the bunk rooms, The house is immaculately clean and the kitchen has everything that you could possibly need. We absolutely loved staying here and can't wait to come back!

Three generations gathered for a much needed retreat from the everyday virus routine. From the 12 to 77 year old , all agreed that Roundabout Retreat excelled in fantastic views, open layout that let you always feel connected but also gave you the ability to sneak away for a quick nap, easy access to Lumberjack lift, shuttle service , easy access to new runs that connected black to blue to green, 4 king master suites plus the best bunk room yet, a very private hot tub, Aveda shower products, keypad entrance, great appliances, spices in the kitchen, coffee for the morning jolt and the list goes on. After numerous years at Copper and 2 previous years staying at Lewis Ranch, we have found our ski home. Laurel and Chris were perfect hosts. Thanks for the memories!

Where do I start !!!! Words not pictures can describe just how great the Round About Retreat is ! Our group of 10 could not have asked for a better place to stay for our week long trip while skiing at Copper Mountain . The kitchen has seasoning , every kind of cooking utensil and things that help entertain a large group . The bedrooms are very roomy and the bedding is very comfortable. The theater room was a hit as well as the pool table and hot tub !! Thank you for being such a great host and the home is phenomenal!!

The photos do not do this beautiful home justice! It is even better in person! The open floor plan in the kitchen to living area is great for a group! The bedrooms are beautiful and spacious! The kitchen has everything you could even need to cook and the house is a walk from the slopes! Also, Laurel was a pleasure to work with and was very accommodating! My group already wants to book this spot for next year!
