About this villa rental

Visit us in our newly refurbished, ocean view villa number 316. Our kitchen was completely remodeled in January 2006 including all new maple cabinets, stainless steel appliances and Silestone counter tops. In 2015 we created 2 new ensuite baths upstairs attached to each bedroom as well as remodeled the full downstairs bathroom. In 2017 we replaced the beds in the second bedroom with 2 new full XL beds for more sleeping comfort. All bedding and linens were also replaced including all new pillows in 2021. New King bed in 2022 with new linens. Winter of 2019 the first floor was repainted and furniture reupholstered. Call or e-mail for rates! See the ocean when you awaken in the morning from your bedroom. We are steps from the pool and 100 steps to the beach. Our pool can be used without the purchase of amenity cards and is for the private use only of owners and guests of Capt. John Fripp villas phase I&II.

The Capt. John Fripp Villas Phase I&II are located in a convenient mid-island location. Our beach has an easy stair crossover just steps from our back door with beach access at all tides. We are located across from the tennis courts and next to the Beach Club. If you enjoy biking, walking, or just sitting with a good book listening to the ocean, Fripp is the place for you. Two golf courses are located on the island and many others are on surrounding islands. We are Fripp Club members which allows you to buy amenity cards which will provide full access to all Fripp activities for you and your family.

WE ARE FULL CLUB MEMBERS AND HAVE ACCESS TO AMENITY CARDS. CARDS WILL BE FOR 7 NIGHTS IF STAYING A FULL WEEK OR 4 DAY CARDS FOR LESS THAN WEEK STAY. CARDS COST $100 FOR 2 CARDS AND A WEEK'S STAY AND $70 FOR A WEEKEND (PEAK SEASON RATES) PLUS A 12.8% RESORT FEE THAT WILL BE CALCULATED ON YOUR BASE RENTAL RATE AFTER YOU INITIALLY ASK TO BOOK AND I CAN ADD THE FEE. VRBO CUURENTLY DOES NOT HAVE A MECHANISM TO ALLOW THIS TO CALCULATE WITHOUT MANUAL ADJUSTMENT AND I APOLOGIZE.
THESE CARDS ENABLE YOU TO EXPERIENCE ALL FRIPP HAS TO OFFER. YOU BE ABLE TO FREQUENT ALL RESTAURANTS INCLUDING THE FOOD COURT LOCATED NEXT DOOR TO OUR VILLA, ALL CLUB POOLS, THE 2 FRIPP GOLF COURSES AND TENNIS. YOU MAY PARTICIPATE IN KIDS CLUBS, BIKE RENTALS, GOLF CART AND BOAT RENTALS. NOT ALL OWNERS ARE CLUB MEMBERS AND THEREFORE CANNOT PROVIDE THESE AMENITY CARDS FOR THEIR RENTERS. WE WANT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY TO ENJOY ALL OF FRIPP AND NOT BE TURNED AWAY FROM ANYWHERE.

We have stayed at Fripp for the last 6 years, and always love it! Fripp is perfect for those who enjoy the peace and quiet - we had the pool and beach almost entirely to ourselves for the whole trip! We recommend picking up all groceries at Walmart/Publix on the way to the island. Check out the very small nature center on the island, our kids had a great time seeing the snakes/turtles (bonus, it’s free!). We have stayed at several of the condos in the Captain John Fripp Villas in the past, and this is one of the best. The owner is very kind and responsive, and everything went very smooth! The unit was very clean, and even had an inflatable mattress which was helpful for us! Having a golf cart included is amazing, and is the best way to get around the island. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

Our family had a great time at 316 John Fripp Villa. The villa was clean perfect location walked right out the back to the beach and the pool the owner Laura was great to work with if you had any problems or questions we will definitely be back.

Went to Fripp for a quick anniversary getaway. Accommodations were perfect for what we needed, and owner Laura was ver welcoming. Would definitely stay here again!

The space was good for the 2 bedroom villa. It was clean and plenty of towels. Location was perfect and the golf cart very convenient. The host was easy to communicate with and was very nice. If I had any negative it was that the upstairs AC didn’t cool as much as we would have liked. We kept at 71 per instructions and it actually seemed to cool better during the day. It would climb to 76 at night and our family runs a bit hot and likes it a little cooler to sleep. Downstairs stayed plenty cool! Other than that it was perfect!

Property was clean and was steps away from the dock to the beach. Both bedrooms had en suite full bathrooms with plenty of towels. Kitchen was stocked with basic needs and living area was spacious. Had a great time with our family of four. Thank you Laura who made communication quick and helpful. We will definitely come back next Summer!

Great location, lovely pool, easy access to the beach. Unit was relatively clean. Very well stocked kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, utensils, salt). We cooked most of our meals. Be sure to stop at a grocery store in Beaufort as the general store on the island has some things but not everything. Upgraded coffee pot with the kcup option. Easy to rent a golf cart from the marina with an amenity card. The beds were so comfortable and plenty of bathrooms. Bring good bug spray as you will get bitten while outside. Also bring beach towels and beach chairs.

This was our second time staying on Fripp and we absolutely loved this location! The condo had everything we needed and we were very comfortable. The master bedroom is big enough for a Queen air mattress on the floor which is where our little ones slept since we invited my mom and gave her the second bedroom. The two bathrooms upstairs are fully remodeled and beautiful! We were steps away from the pool and just a 2 min walk to the beach. We are already looking forward to booking for next year!

We had a wonderful experience on Fripp Island. Property owner was very helpful and responded quickly with messages and important information. The property was roomy and had everything we needed. Beach is short and easy walk! The beach was peaceful and beautiful! We enjoyed riding bikes around the island one day. Traveled into Beaufort for dinner sometimes and really enjoyed the food and view at the Fish Camp at Port Royal. We enjoyed a beautiful outdoor church service just next door to the property on Sunday morning. We had a great experience on lovely, relaxing Fripp Island.

Amazing Time!

This was such a great and refreshing vacation. Laura was so great and easy to work with. Great communication and very accommodating. The location could not have been more perfect. It was right in the middle of the island and so convenient to anywhere you wanted to go. It was so nice to have to pool just outside the back door and plus able to see the ocean and be just a few steps from the beach. Such a great trip! Cannot wait to come back. Thanks Laura for making out trip such a good time.

My husband, 2 children, and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was the perfect size for a family of four. We appreciated how clean the condo was upon our arrival. The location was perfect! You can't beat the court yard, private pool (for the condos), and beach access right there! We come to Fripp every year but this was the first time staying at this property- we hope to again soon!
