About this apartment rental
Our spacious Wailea Ekolu Condominium is fully appointed and includes phone, radio, CD/DVD player, cable TV, and WiFi Internet connection. Three flat screen TVs have been installed. Personal touches for your enjoyment and convenience. This unit is a 2,000-square-foot townhouse, occupying both the lower and upper floors of a two-story building. The bedrooms and laundry are on the lower level and the living area occupies the upper level which also provides a great ocean view. There is a full kitchen with stove, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, dishes and utensils. Small appliances such as coffee maker, toaster, blender, and iron are also provided. Towels, including beach towels, linens and paper products are in the apartment. The unit has two private lanais (patios), two full baths downstairs, washer/dryer and a half-bath upstairs. The master bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has two queen beds. A port-a-crib with linens is available for our smaller guests. The condominium is cooled by ceiling fans and central air conditioning on the upper level and individual air conditioners in the bedrooms. The Ekolu Village has barbecue areas overlooking the golf course and ocean, and two swimming pools all located in a garden setting. The closest gas grill is located near the office pavillion. The condominium is about 1500 feet from the beach, a 15-minute walk. Private parking is located right at the condominium entrance and there is adequate public parking at all five of the great Wailea Beach areas if you prefer to drive and take beach chairs, beach toys, and towels (all provided) and a picnic rather than walk to the beach. Want a boogie board too? They are available at the condo. Wailea, located on the South and lee side of Maui, is 1,450 acres of relaxed and uncrowded beaches, shops, restaurants, tennis and golf snuggled into Maui's greenery. Surrounding the three championship Wailea golf courses is a distinctive community of condominium villages and luxury hotels. Eleven courts help make the Wailea Tennis Club Hawaii's most complete facility. Wailea also offers a series of five crescent white sand beaches which are strung along a mile and a half of coastline. A myriad of water activities are available including swimming, snorkeling, wind-surfing, sailing and excursions to Molokini, a submerged volcano that is home to thousands of tropical fish. The resort's dining spots range from sun-drenched snack bars to award-winning fine dining restaurants. There is more entertainment at Wailea Shopping Village, an open, airy setting for shops and restaurants. The listed price is for 4 or fewer guests; extra guests above 4, incur a $15 pp/pd charge, maximum guests 8.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this home. I loved the artwork and found the lanai view to be quite beautiful. The landscaping at the Ekolu condominium complex is breathtaking. The flowers are gorgeous and the trees just pop with flowers and beauty. The ocean is right down the hill and I took early morning walks. I love to snorkel with the sea turtles and that area was just a couple of miles away. We also enjoyed the spaciousness of the home as our adult children visited for 10 days. Such a gift to stay at such a lovely place.

We enjoyed our stay in Wailea. Location is great. Closer to the beaches, walking distance to the Shops at Wailea. Condo is older yet had everything we needed. Bedrooms are spacious. Kitchen was equipped with all that's needed. The ocean view from the deck was very nice. Pool was warm and nice. William was great with messaging and helped us out when our time was shorten because of Westjet's strike.

There was plenty of room for all of us girls to have space. The air conditioning worked amazingly! But the ocean breeze was perfect to sit outside and hangout!

Pros: large condo, great location, nice ocean views, washer and dryer, beach chairs, air conditioning, host responds quickly.
Cons: No smoke detectors, floors were not clean as they turned our socks black.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo! The property was clean and spacious. The proximity to beaches, shops, and restaurants was great! The provided beach chairs and umbrella were great to bring to the beach. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay!

This property is in an excellent location. Close to Kihei in Wailea. It was very spacious for our group of 5. Great view of the water from the lanai.

This is our 4th time staying in the Ekolu units and this time did not disappoint. Connecting with the owner was easy and fast, check in was seamless, the property was clean when we arrived and everything was as the listing. We had our 5 month old baby with us, and the convenience of having a pack-and-play there for him to sleep in was wonderful!
The kitchen was stocked with what we needed, there were enough beach towels, and the beach gear was available. There were no sand toys so we did purchase some for our 4 year old and left them behind for future guests to enjoy.
Such a great location which is why we keep coming back!

Over all we had a good stay. The deck is beautiful and the inside although older it’s nice. The beds are comfortable and each bathroom had nice towels. The location is perfect easy walk to the shops at Wailea.

Wailea is fantastic, but expensive, and this complex and condo represent an outstanding value for families! The owner is fantastic and ultra-quick to respond to any question and the unit is clean, comfortable and the deck outside has a wonderful ocean view, great for whale watching (with binoculars), and the location is walkable to Wailea Village (great coffee shop, Italian restaurant and others great shops), The Shops at Wailea, as well as the adjacent, fantastic, grocery store and of course, Wailea beach.

Very easy to contact the host with quick response. We have stayed in the area before and knew it was a great place with pools and bbqs for all residence as well as preamo location. Quick friendly area close to Kihei, Shops of Wailea, and excellent walks and beaches. The condo was an awesome set up with bedrooms downstairs and kitchen/living space upstairs. Will definitely try to stay here again our next trip.

On-site pool & communal BBQ was used everyday.
The home was great - lots of room (we only had 4 people, but lots of extra room). Quiet at night.
Our hosts were wonderful and very accommodating as we had a couple changes along the way.

Loved staying here. William was very accommodating with us when we wanted to stay late because of our flight turning into a redeye. The place was clean and comfortable and had so much space. It was very quiet and had a nice little view from the top lanai. Some of the rooms and decoration is very eclectic and interesting! Some of the kitchen equipment has some wear and tear, but that’s to be expected. More than adequately stocked and nice little bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Overall, had a great time.

The only downfall was the cleaning. Not sure why there is a cleaning fee if we had to clean the house before we left (which we would have done anyways).

Spacious condo with everything that you need to feel at home. Great location, close to shopping, beaches and restaurants. I do suggest renting a car, not required, but makes your options endless. Overall, fantastic vacation.

The location was awesome. Close to shops and resteraunts but also the beaches. Loved the lanai, we ate all our meals out there and enjoyed the sunrise and sunset views. We will definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfy and my teenagers loved having queen-sized beds. Loved the location and the view.
I had a little diffulty figuring out the cooling system (user issue :) ), but owner and emergency contact person were responsive and great to talk to.
Definately would come back to this condo next time I go to Maui!

We love Maui and this time we decided to travel with our 4 children and my parents. We had a great trip. Wailea is a beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed the space of the condo. Communication of the owner was always very prompt and polite. Check in/check out process is simple. We would have enjoyed updated beach gear; chairs and umbrellas were in rough shape. Overall, a wonderful place to stay and very pleasant owners to deal with. Mahalo!

I thought this property was comfortable and clean. Some of the things in the back, like the coolers and the umbrellas and the toys, looked like they had been more than gently used! But overall - everything was great! I went with my family and our family friends - and we all enjoyed! Thank you so much!

We loved early morning coffee on the lanai alongside the canopy of large trees and tropical bird calls – it made us feel like we were gazing at the ocean from a treehouse! We enjoyed the spaciousness and comfort of this affordable family vacation retreat, and the kitchen served our needs well. Avid snorkelers, we brought our own equipment and made the short drive to different snorkeling spots every morning! This area of Maui is wonderful and we hope to be back one day.

Over all we had a great time getting a message and playing golf. Unit is clean and well kept. Just a downer the leaky faucet in master bath was too much. The location greatly appreciated as it was close proximity to food & shopping venues. Will book for next trip in 2024.

Better than the pictures! This place had a wonderful ocean view from the balcony. It was the perfect place to stay for my family. They even provided a pack and play for the baby. Parking was easy. I would highly recommend

Overall, a great stay and space was more than enough for all occupants. Encountered some trouble initially with some power outage in a room, but host was quick to respond and communication was on point for any other inquiries. Also included many boogie boards, floatation devices, chairs for us to use, which was a big help for our almost daily beach trips.

Property is very close to beaches and shopping. Condo is spacious with a nice view from the balcony. On property employees were very friendly. Had a small issue with a breaker tripping towards the end of our stay and management responded quickly. The beach chairs came in handy!

Great location and beautiful condo
Our first time in Maui was amazing. Our condo was clean and great location with a quick car ride or reasonable walk to Wailea beach. Condo had a full kitchen and plenty of beds and space. Loved having the boogie boards and cooler and our disposal. That was a nice touch. Thank you !

The condo was great for our family of 7. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone. It’s definitely an older condo but it is priced accordingly. We enjoyed the pool, views of the ocean and watching the sunsets from the grassy area near the grills. The management was very responsive. The mgmt office area has a book shelf with tons of great books to read. The location was great. We enjoyed the beautiful beaches nearby. The condo has everything you need for a perfect day at the beach including boogie boards, coolers, beach chairs and umbrella, etc. We really enjoyed our time on Maui.

Solid property. Clean and tidy. Adequate kitchen and lanai. Good extras - boogy boards great and snorkeling equip was good. Multiple unique beaches close enough. Played Wailea golf club Gold and Emerald as it is a great course and close. Would book again for what we paid (or a bit more) for the next time to Maui.

Beautiful setting
The location and grounds of this place are gorgeous. The host was responsive, helpful, and even recommended a perfect restaurant when we were in need of a quick decision with hungry kids. She also allowed us a late check out, which was an extreme help due to our next place not being open for hours later. This place is very very spacious for Maui.
If you like high end finishes and everything perfectly polished, this place is not for you. But if you appreciate a casual, homey place in a beautiful neighborhood, it is great.
