Great breakfast and absolutely fabulous location!
4.5 / 5.0
Lovely room, great bathroom with a clawfoot tub that we put to good use after a long day hiking. Enjoyed the porch happy hour, the snack closet and the self serve breakfast. The Yellow House is beautiful, well maintained and was a perfect location to restaurants, shopping walking and easy access to Acadia National Park.

very nice decor and amenities. Loved the pantry, happy hour drinks (blueberry margaritas!) and breakfast.

We loved the location, the interior of the inn as well as the privacy our room offered. The snacks and coffee offered were much appreciated as well.
The breakfast was a bit limited, especially on the savory side.

Clean, spacious, nicely appointed room. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy walk into bustling Bar Harbor. Parking on site right next to my room. Tasty, simple breakfast and snack options. Excellent WiFi. Just the ticket for a few days in Bar Harbor and some day-drives into Acadia.
I could have used some sort of writing surface but was able to work it okay.

Quite and peaceful, walking distance to every thing.
Everything was great.

The location was great. The rooms were also good.
The breakfast was a disappointment. On two of our days their was only pastry and bagels and no protein. On the other two days there was also hard boiled eggs.
At every other B&B we stayed there was eggs, bacon and pancakes.

Yellow House Inn in Bar Harbor was a beautiful place! We met some great people Sarah was always making sure if we needed anything we loved her! In the evenings they served a blueberry margarita in a happy hour style 3-5pm. We had a very nice room tidy up daily access to all local shops, tours and even a beautiful sunrise and a quaint breakfast every morning we have a refreshing new love of blueberries! 🫐
That we loved it and didn't want to leave.

The most charming B&B there is! Sara made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in to our departure. This home is beautiful, warm, cozy, clean and perfectly located right off main street Bar Harbor. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was incredible...home baked blueberry scones and croissants, eggs, bagels, yogurt, overnight oats all displayed beautifully. Access to coffee/espresso machine and snack pantry all day. 3-5pm is happy hour on porch. We loved the apple cider margaritas in mason jars. Gorgeous fire pit to congregate and get to know other guests. Honestly, just a spectacular way to end our Maine vacation.
That we couldn't stay longer!

Simple but wonderful pastries (scones, blueberry croissants), and for the health conscious overnight oatmeal so good my husband asked for the recipe - which was shared.
The only thing that would make it better ( which isn't possible) would be an ocean view. But the seaside was less than a block away

Location was perfect. One block off the main area. Loved the outdoor seating/fire pit and wine from 3:00-5:00. The porch was so inviting. Beds were comfy.
I would have liked a little more from breakfast standpoint. Suggestion - fresh fruit cut up instead of just apples and bananas. Hot oatmeal instead of overnight oats. Even if it was fix it yourself (like waffle batter but make your own waffle). Just some thoughts. The pluses definitely outweigh this negative 😊

Beautiful to and clean
The breakfast not what you usually think of from a bed and breakfast. A higher price to pay would usually off a better breakfast.

Location was perfect! Loved that we could be so close to Main Street and walk back to the inn and find it so quiet! The porch is amazing! Great place to meet others! Sat at the fire pit- nice touch.
Wish there was a little more variety of breakfast from day to day.

Gorgeous porch and grounds. Very close to everything in Bar Harbor, in fact walking distance. So parking is not an issue, making exploring the town snd Harbor very easy.
The bedroom and private bath were clean and comfortable but nothing special. Breakfast was an upscale Hampton Inn type. Yogurt, fruit in a bowl, danish, overnight oatmeal in a jar, bagels, granola, milk, juice, and coffee. Same thing next morning. It was well presented and the dinning area very pleasant. For the price I felt they could have offered a little more of an experience in the Inn besides the beautiful location.

loved the overnight oats; appreciated all the creature comforts - refrigerator, espresso machine, water, snacks, happy hour, the huge, inviting porch, the backpack to use (hadn't realized we needed 2 until we got there), the warm welcome and ongoing hospitality.
wished that there was milk for the coffee (not just half and half).

This is a charming B&B in a great location for walking a block into town or down to the harbor. There are many close very good restaurants.
The Innkeeper is wonderful, the bed comfortable and the room large. The flowers surrounding the home are beautiful and there is a gas grill outside ready for sitting around the fire pit.

The Inn was great-beautiful porch and well-maintained garden. Our room was clean and comfortable. Happy Hour and snacks were unexpected niceties. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Breakfast was tasty, but mostly cold food. In the cold Maine weather, we could have used some warm, savory food.
