I liked to location.
The tv had no channels, it was only streaming and we couldn’t get it to work. The price was high.

Great location to downtown.

Love the location
1) need to build in the exhausting fans in the bathroom to clear out all the steam and bad air circulation from the bathroom.
2) No coffee maker n no microwave in each room.

I can’t say enough about the location. Quick walking distance to everything in Bar Harbor, but still on a quiet street.
Staff was very warm and friendly
There was nothing I disliked, however Wi-Fi was free but very slow

Location wise is great, few steps to main street and very close to the main entrance of the Acadia National park. The room is basic, clean enough and the staff was great
The structure is pretty basic meaning you can hear steps and the people next door talking. The WiFi was pretty bad, the beds kind of uncomfortable.

New, clean room
Lack of close parking to the building I was staying
5.0 / 10.0
The large flat screen TV was great.
The mattress on the bed sagged in the middle and hurt my back. On my 3rd night I changed beds and slept alone. The 2nd bed had a better mattress.
There was no breakfast, only a small muffin and very poor coffee.
We've stayed at other places in Bar Harbor that offered much more for half the money.

Excellent location!
Clean, quiet, comfy room.
Friendly staff.
Plenty of parking.
Easy walk to the main tourist strips of Bar Harbor(Main, Cottage, and West streets), grocery store. But also very easy to get to Acadia National Park without having to drive through traffic.
This is a no-frills motel, so see the next section for a list of amenities this hotel does not have.
No problems at all.
Just be aware, this is a very basic motel, so there is no:
- Restaurant on site
- Desk in the room
- Microwave in the room
- Safe in the room
- Lobby with seating area
- Interior hallway (it's a true motel, you park outside your door)
- Elevator to the second floor. If you can't carry your luggage up stairs, and they can't guarantee you a first-floor room, don't stay here.
- Art work on the walls
- Tour guide/concierge services
- Premium TV channels
- DVD/CD player
- Daily housekeeping (available any day, just ask the front desk)
- Coffee maker in room
- Closet (there was a hanging bar with a few hangers)

Location was great, about a 7 minute walk to the Main Street area of Bar Harbor. Hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. It was well-taken care of and while you could tell it was an older hotel, they had taken time to refresh the paint and decor in the rooms.
Sound proofing could be improved. Could hear the TV’s and conversations in other rooms with shared walls. Also, we were on the lower level and could hear EVERY FOOTSTEP on the people above us. they weren’t loud people, but simple walking sounded like they were in our same room!

Nothign really -- for a motel it was just fine
6.0 / 10.0
Location was excellent, the facility was only OK. Staff was friendly - as long as you have low expectations about the state of the building and your room, you should be fine, as walking to downtown Bar Harbor was a definite plus!
Room was only OK, I frankly think the 2nd story walkway was in need of repair. Parking was tight.

Clean, friendly staff, excellent location. It's in a beautiful neighborhood right in town and everything is within walking distance. No major issues with the room or facilities.
It's no frills and the place is a little dated, which would be fine if it weren't so expensive. You're mainly paying for the location.
