Family of 12 get together.
Home comfortably slept all 12.
Two separate living spaces allowed the adults to gather in one to socialize and the kids to watch movies in the other. The game room was also a hit. Kitchen was very well stocked so we were able to cook with ease.

The property manager was amazing and we loved our stay. Erin was very fast with her replies and made sure all our questions were answered. The house was a great size to fit 14 people. My only complaint is the cleanliness of the house. It seemed that not all the bedsheets were changed prior to our arrival. The pull out mattress had dust on it and the bedsheets looked slept in. The bathroom mats also smelt horrible so we had to put them in the laundry.

My family and I had a wonderful and cozy time at this eclectic, awesome cabin! This cabin is close to everything. Just a couple of minutes away from Lake Arrowhead downtown, and Santa's village, we had cozy fires and lots of wonderful together time here. We will definitely be staying here again!

June multi-generational gathering
The waterfall had something for everyone in our family who ranged in age from 7 to 57. We were all comfortable in the home, while entertained with talks around the fire, games, and reading. Nearby hiking and restaurants were easy to access. We easily fit four standard sized SUVs on site. The charm and welcoming feeling of this home made for a most enjoyable weekend in Lake Arrowhead.
As mentioned in other posts, Erin is amazing to work with. Don’t hesitate to ask any questions you have.

VRBO Weekend Retreat
Hi Lynette,
Our group had a fabulous time at your VRBO this weekend. Although, appointed nicely, there were several issues we wanted you to be aware of:
*the ad never mentioned the number of stairs thoughout the home
*Chairs by the fire pit one arm fell off :(
* none of the lighters provided worked
* grill would not light completely
*no corkscrew
*sofa bed in library had no springs or support on bottom on mattress fell through :(
*no mirrors upstairs
*mirror over toilet in half bath???
*shower head fell off while showering downstairs bathroom
*no flat space for dogs
* parking was dangerous (cars flying by and one accident nearby)
*dishwasher door no spring
*library chair had a rip in it
*library sofa bed had a curn or stain on it
* was pretty dusty when we came in
* front door keypad wouldnt lock
I hope you appreciate our notes and address these issues for the next guests.
Thank you Lynette

Spacious labyrinth
We stayed with 2 other families in April. When you arrive, the first thing that will hit you is the house is a labyrinth. More on that later. The house is well appointed, clean, has a nice spacious kitchen and dining area and living area where you can mingle with friends. There are 3 bathrooms but only 2 with showers so plan accordingly with larger groups. The bedroom at the very top is strange as the nearest restroom is down one flight of stairs so somewhat annoying if you have to use the restroom in the middle of the night. The man-cave is nice but we barely spent any time there. The game room was a hit for the kids as there is a pool table and basketball game as well as bunk beds. However, the top bunks had mattresses which were way too thick and the tops of the mattresses were at the same level as the side rails which made for a very dangerous sleeping situation on the top bunks. In addition, there is only 1 thermostat for the entire house so the game room was cold while the main floor rooms and upper level room were too warm. The garage only really fits 1 car (especially if it is a minivan or SUV). We were able to fit 2 SUVs on the driveway. There is no street parking as the house is right on a busy street.
Back to the labyrinth comment. The house is almost like 3 different builders bolted on additions to the original house many years later and added bizarre connections. In order to access the garage from inside the house, you need to go down stairs, through several rooms and then up a staircase hidden inside a closet-type door. It takes a while to remember how to access the different parts of the house but it is somewhat inconvenient. The property manager communicated via text and was responsive.

Lovely Stay
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything we needed & spacious for our group to enjoy. There’s lots to explore. That being said, there are multi levels with lots of stairs, not an easy access especially for those with disabilities. It’s close to the village, but also near 2 roads that can get a bit loud if outside enjoying the patio. Overall, the cabin was enjoyable. Thank you.

Incredible!!!
Erin is amazing! Let me repeat that, Erin is amazing! The house is incredible, and the property as a whole has so many features for what one would want in a spacious forest cabin. There is plenty of space, comfortable beds, great decor, and lots of entertainment options, and it's very clean. While away from the city, you also have what you would need to stay connected if need be. The atmosphere of the property is dreamlike, and I cannot even begin to express how grateful I am to the property manager and owner for their kindness, communication, and hospitality during our stay. They helps me create a wonderful weekend that will be forever remembered. As someone who is familiar with renting vacation properties, I can say they truly do what they can to make the guests feel at home and that everything runs as smoothly as possible.
If you're looking for a great cabin, this is the one!

Awesome stay!
Great house in a wonderful part of town. Tons of room for everyone to spread out and relax. There are a lot of stairs, and be aware that parking and unloading will require a few flights.

Wedding party residence
We are from Michigan so we rented the VRBO to house the wedding party and some family from our side of the family. The house's layout was perfect because it offered multiple living spaces for different groups of people at one time (main floor/ outside decks/ den & bar/ game room/ upstairs loft). The house was perfect for our needs.

A cozy mountain retreat
Cedar Glen is a beautiful escape from reality! The property is clean, well-decorated and meticulously stocked. There were plenty of cozy nooks to spread out in, which allowed the children to have their own space. Communication with the property manager was seamless. It’s a truly special property and we can’t wait to come back!

Making the best of a bad situation!
Before arriving we wr told that the only thing broken was the dishwasher by mgr. However the screen door, the bottom of slide in door, upstairs bed, knob from the stove, window in the game room, TV in the upstairs living room, cue sticks wr all broken! When we used the downstairs fireplace the house smoked up, we look for a key to open it up, it was missing and look broken, the outside fire pit thats advertised in the pics was cracked and knob to turn it on was broken, the microwave would turn on! Holes on the kitchen bar, holes in the door, the downstairs window was leaking! Everything we tried was broken or missing a key factor to turn it on! We spend more time texting and taking pictures of the damage and broken things in the house to the might thn using it! The mgr just kept saying sorry, that early rentals destroyed it! but it should have been fix before we got thr! Very disappointed and will never go back!

Very Hospitable but lots of Stairs
If you do not want to go up and down stairs and walk down slopes to get to the front door, then this not for you. The Host really did a great job making you feel welcomed and lots of little surprises and nicely equip for all you would need. The issue is that it is an M.C Escher house with stairs to anywhere you want to go. If you have kids that don't mind it it is a great place with the game room. If you have ambultory issues, this unfortunately would be a challenge. We enjoyed our time their and it has multiple latge rooms for gathering or getting away, but they all take stairs!
So it was not ideal for us, but it was a nice experience otherwise and I would recommend it with my caveats.

Fabulous Getaway!
We celebrated our daughter’s first birthday here and had a great time! The cabin was spacious, clean, and cozy. Erin and Lynette were responsive and helpful leading up to and during our stay. We would definitely return hopefully when there is some powder on the ground.

AMAZING House For A Group Getaway
This house was incredible! Even better than the pictures. A group of us stayed here to celebrate my girlfriend’s 30th birthday. We had 14 adults and we all comfortably had our own sleeping spaces. The game room, which only has a picture of the pool table in the listing, is awesome and one of the highlights of the house. It has 2 bunk beds (4 beds total) and a pull out couch plus a basketball game, pool table, and tv with video games. We spent a ton of time in the wood room and around the fire pit outside as well. The house is like a maze and it’s so fun exploring all the different areas and rooms. The artist retreat room deserves a shout-out as well, so cool. We ran into an issue that was no fault of the owners, and Erin went above and beyond trying to get it fixed. She is fantastic. When it became obvious that it wasn’t going to be possible to fix the problem until after we left, the owners made sure to refund us a generous portion of our money for the inconvenience. Professionals all around. We would love to come back in the future, this house is amazing!!!

Fantastic Time at Lake Arrowhead
I planned a surprise birthday get away for my boyfriend inviting friends and family to stay at this gorgeous home. There was tons of room for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. The place is gorgeous and didn’t disappoint. The only downside was the multiple restrictions of the actual lake, Lake Arrowhead. We wanted to take a dip and rent a boat but that wasn’t possible, so we did the 45 minute drive to Big Bear instead.

Great Vacation Home
Our stay at Lake Arrowhead was amazing in this great vacation home. Everything you needed was provided except your food and clothing. We had a range of family from 10yrs to 68yrs. We all enjoyed the game room and man cave. Since there were so many rooms, the 14 of us were never on top of each other. We enjoyed our time on the Lake as the weather was in the 90"s. For a family, we would recommend this home to vacation in. Erin the property manager was very helpful in our checking in process. We also had a gift basket waiting for us on our arrival. That was a nice touch.

Fun and different
Very nice and comfortable cabin including all utilities needed for a comfortable stay. Clean sheets and towels, all dishes you can imagine. Coffee in abundance. etc etc.. Overall we had a wonderful time and Erin is very helpful via text.
If you have toddlers or infants be mindful, the cabin has a lot of stairs and the rails are wide open so a toddler can go through them. We had 10 eyes on the 3 toddlers the entire time so it was fine. We also moved the sofas back to cover most of the unsafe area when we were there.

Perfect Weekday Getaway!
From even before check-in, my experience with Erin was extremely positive. Super helpful and extremely fast response. Upon arriving to Fallen Timber we were greeted with a gift basket of s’mores and a hand written welcome letter. The home was amazing. From the fire pit to the “man cave” and even the game room, there is a lot of fun to be had. All of our guests felt at home with the spacious rooms and the cozy decor. We brought along our four legged friend, and she loved laying out on the patio watching squirrels and blue jays maneuver around the trees. The home had all the amenities you would need including great WiFi, TVs in almost every room, gaming systems, large collection of dvds, washer and dryer, pots and pans, coffee bar, bbq, pool table and the list goes on and on! Will definitely be returning to this property in the future.

Great location and beautiful home
First off I’d like to say Erin was absolutely awesome! Her communication and professionalism was amazing. Thank you Erin for being so on top of things during our stay. The property itself was very nice and comfortable, definitely sounds like the owner takes pride in her beautiful home. We all definitely enjoyed Mother Nature’s beautiful forest settings and all the trees surrounding the home. Love the fact of the outside fireplace where we we’re able to sit outside as a family and share our stories while we all made marshmallows over the fire. The home was very equipped with everything you need from kitchen Utensils, board games, library, hey google, game room, bbq and plenty more. This place definitely met our expectations. Thank you Lynnette for sharing your beautiful home to me and my family.

Great Group Space and Location
We just got back from a relaxing weekend at this cabin. There are many great spaces to unwind, the deck, main floor great room, downstairs bar area and the game room. While we were only 5 adults you could have at least twice that stay here without issue.
There were nice amenities like shampoo, conditioner and body wash in all the bathrooms and the beds were comfortable. The TVs situation was GREAT! One in each of the common areas and each bedroom. Wifi connection was speedy so streaming on multiple TVs wasn't an issue.
The kitchen was well appointed with spices, lots of pots and pans and even a blender. Plenty of plates and utensils to go around. This was one of the better equipped kitchens I have experienced in a rental property. A little light on the wine glasses so I donated one to the cause. There was a s'mores drawer which was a very nice touch but we couldn't get the fire pit to work, possibly user error.
What other reviewers mention is true, the heating is a bit uneven in the house but the weather was nice enough so we opened a window if the room got too warm. There was a cleanliness issue with the rug in the great room, it looked like no one had vacuumed it in some time and there was a bit of trash around the outside of the house. Otherwise things were clean. There are many houses very close together in this area and I think the neighbors have all the rental property managers on blast when they hear music so be sure to keep it down or close the windows if you want to play music. Also, be aware, there are A LOT of stairs, this helped us work off some of the snacking but it would be a problem for those with any mobility issues.
It's a great location close to Arrowhead Village and Cedar Glen (the malt shop there is a must), and the management is quick to respond should you have any issues. Overall this is a great space and I would recommend for low key groups and multi family trips! Thanks for the opportunity to rent your property.

Beyond amazing!
This home is absolutely beautiful! The property manager sent me all the info including arrowhead events and an insider guide. Had no problems finding the house or getting in. I will say the house is set up a little like a maze so it’s slightly confusing when you first walk through. That’s literally the only “negative” thing I have to say. I stayed for a girls getaway with 14 girls. I was worried that with that many women cooped up in a cabin we’d go crazy but the home had more than what we could ever ask for. There was excess space, plenty of towels, cookware (we made all our meals, and even a cake), movies, video and board games, extra blankets everywhere and coffee/cocoa. All you need is your toothbrush, toothpaste, clothes and food. Other than that, the house has got it. I’m definitely planning to stay again!

Beautiful home in a great location
We were blown away by the beauty of this home. We had five teens and five adults and there was plenty of room for all of us. There is a total of four floors in this gorgeously decorated home. The main floor was home to two bedrooms, a full bath, kitchen and eating area and living room and is designed beautifully, the top floor was a private oasis, with a loft, bedroom, sitting area and half bath, the movie room/bar floor was cozy and woodsy and had a bedroom and full bath, and the bottom floor was perfect for kids to sleep and play, with a pool table, TV and pull out couch. Could easily sleep 6 kids on that floor alone. The house is just a few minutes drive to the village, and in the warm months you could easily walk there and enjoy the shops, restaurants and lake. We will definitely be booking this home again!

AMAZING PLACE TO STAY WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
Highly recommend this nice place, my only complaint will be the heater, lower levels were really hot while upper level were really cold thermostat needs to be adjust every now and then other then that everything was great.

Beautiful, nicely appointed mountain home. Comfortable and lovely.
A beautiful location in Lake Arrowhead, like 2 minutes from the village. Plenty of room, nice and quiet, with terrific amenities. Fun for a big extended family, nice kitchen for food prep, great deck. Load-in is slightly inconvenient because of the distance from the garage to the door of the house and lots of stairs (interior and exterior), with suboptimal exterior lighting at night. (Probably should expect lots of stairs in a mountain home.) Highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.

Great home to rent
We celebrated our 40th anniversary with our children and grandchildren in this beautiful home. I say home because it truly felt like you were in a home vs a rental house. It was decorated to perfection and the kids loved the kids room with pool table. The only thing is this house has a lot of stairs so if you have mobility issues or children who are small that would have a hard time with stairs I would rethink it. The Village is just a very short drive and is also a short drive to Santa’s Village - which we did go to. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star is due to the amount of stairs. We had the absolutely best time.

The pictures don’t lie.
It is really how it looks like in the pictures which made us really happy and excited. We were running back and forth- up and down the stairs overwhelmed with excitement. It took us a while to find all the light switches but it was fine. We loved the kitchen because it had everything else we needed. We mostly stayed at the Main and game room. The bed in the Artist room is broken on one side tho but it wasn’t really a problem for us. It was really an exciting and fun experience for us. It was worth it.

This is was our first time booking a home for a vacation get away and we could not have been more pleased. We stayed for 2 nights and felt like it just wasn’t long enough. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous! It has beautiful, top of the line furnishings and is extremely well decorated. It was stocked with everything we could possibly need for our stay. Everything from coffee, shampoo, towels, beach towels, and laundry necessities were available and made our trip so much easier and convenient. There was so much space for the multiple families to spread out in and still have their own privacy, yet great living rooms for everyone to gather in. We spent our mornings in the kitchen and main level cooking and getting ready for the day and our evenings barbequing and roasting s’mores around the fire pit. The kids especially enjoyed filling the bird feeder with peanuts and watching the resident Blue Jays and chipmunks come to get them. At night we played multiple board games, had a family Wii tournament and ended our evening enjoying a movie all together. Each room in the house has its own personality. Everyone had a hard time choosing which room they wanted to stay in because they wanted to stay in all of them. The very top level is a world of its own. One family stayed up there and enjoyed the skyline windows. The bottom level “Wood Room” was amazing as well. While some of us were still on the main level chatting until the late hours of the night, others were able to enjoy a movie without having to be distracted by the noise. The washing machine is the largest I’ve seen and couldn’t even touch the bottom without being on my tippy toes! It made getting everything for everyone washed in minimal time and energy. This house was just wonderful! The whole experience was easy and enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for more. We will definitely be coming back!
