About this cottage rental

This 3 bedroom house was completely remodeled in 2013-14. New for 2025 will be a remodeled front deck. It is on the west side of Conesus Lake 5-10 minutes from Geneseo. Sutton Point North is a small private driveway off of West Lake Road so you don't have to worry about the kids and traffic. We have a huge parking area that can fit 4/5 cars. Due to family allergies, we DO NOT accept pets.

The views are spectacular whether you are in the kitchen, on the spacious waterfront deck, grilling near the sitting area, or sitting on the grass in front of the walk in stone beach.

There are 3 bedrooms with a Queen Bed in one room, a Full Bed in the second room, and 2 twin beds as well as a twin bed with trundle in the third room. Each room has a closet to hang clothes in. Clean linens are provided. There is also a washer and dryer for you to use. There is 1.5 baths. The shower is part of a full tub.

We DO NOT supply bath or beach towels as part of this rental.

The house has central air conditioning as well as forced air heat.

There is a 32 inch smart TV hooked up to YouTube TV in the main room for the can't miss sporting event or if it rains. In the upstairs there are 2 HD TV's hooked up through firesticks. You can put those TV's in whatever bedroom you desire. There is also a DVD only TV for movies for the kids. The house also has wireless internet service.

The kitchen has all new appliances including a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. For your convenience there is a microwave, toaster, Keuring Coffee maker, pots/pans for cooking, kitchen utensils, dishes, and silverware.

Outside enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee on the waterfront deck. Watch the kids swim or fish of off of the dock. There is a grassy area in front to play catch, corn hole, or other games. For meals use the grill at the side yard sitting area. Want to read a book? Use the sitting area off of the dock to relax. Grab a beverage from the refrigerator located in the 'basement' at lake level. At night use the lakeside firepit to cook s'mores and enjoy the tranquil sound of the waves on the shore.

Want to get out for some fun? There are several golf courses with a 15 minute drive. There are several places to go to eat... The Beachcomber is about 1 mile away. Galene and Tee and Gee are at the north end of the lake... about 10 minutes. Ember is In Livonia about 15 minutes. Several newish breweries have popped up. Solitude, Rising Storm, No BS, and little Lake Brewing all provide a fun night out in Lakeville. Geneseo has a wide variety of traditional restaurants (Applebees, Wendy's). Not sure? Don't worry will provide you with a list of our favorites! Kids looking for fun? Minnehans is an arcade, mini-golf, go-kart, batting cage, hamburg/hot dog ice cream stand less than 1 minutes away! Looking for tradition try Tom Wahl's in Avon before heading to the drive in movie! Want to go shopping? Marketplace Mall in Henrietta is less than 30 minutes up 390 and Eastview Mall in Victor is 40 minutes.

Very nice location. Excellent parking area. The view was amazing. Stayed during week so it was quite,but I needed that. Paddle boat was to heavy to move.

Owner was very communicative and he kept us informed of the check in and out process well in advance. The cottage was very nice with a deck overlooking the lake. Inside was clean with a nice kitchen, new stove and refrigerator. Highly recommended if you want to relax on the lake.

My family had a wonderful time at Reed & Relax. Everything was clean, decorated cute, and we had plenty of space to spread out. The yard is adorable and the beachy access to the water was perfect for kayaking. The dock was a hot spot for fishing too. Even with some rainy weather we had a great time sitting at the kitchen table and playing cards.

Nice and roomy lakeside cottage. Very clean. Nice kitchen appliances. Nice deck overlooking the water and fire ring by water . Plenty of parking. Lots of nice restaurants and golf nearby. Great winery just up the road and two breweries also short drive away. A nice dock too.

We were the first renters of the season, so we definitely ran into a few bumps along the way! We weren't provided with bathroom towels and weren't notified until the night before our arrival that we needed to bring with us. Unfortunately, this meant that we had to go to the store a purchase our own towels. The kitchen was well stocked and we made multiple meals in the home. The porch offered beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere. All in all we truly enjoyed our time at the house and minus the towel situation everything was to our expectations.

When we were kids, we spent a lot of time at Conesus lake. We wanted to come back and have some good memories and relax for a few days. The fishing was unbelievable!! Fires at night were so peaceful. Definitely coming back!!

We had a great experience staying. The hosts were great. We enjoyed the paddle boat and the kayaks, the little beach and fishing on the pier. The house is beautiful inside and out. Well kept and clean. The area is quiet and very private. One thing I would say (one star off), be careful on the steps up to the bedrooms, the carpet is loose on one of the steps and resulted in a series of falls by various family members. Also, check the floors. My kids found some kind of medication spilled on the bedroom carpet. I am glad they didn't eat it and brought it to me instead.

Our friends from Germany came to visit us in Maryland and we wished to show them more than big cities. We chose Reed and Relax for its lake vibe, 3 bedrooms, lake access, beautiful open floor plan, and location. Took a day trip to Niagara Falls and Anchor Bar in Buffalo, then another day at Letchworth SP to hike. Local dinners at Beachcomber and Galene - both wonderful! Loved kayaking on Conesus Lake!! Spent much time on the deck porch, and relaxing with Netflix at night. Appreciated how clean this home is, also the outdoor lighting and colorful indoor decorating on the main level. As a VRBO host myself, I would recommend that the listing include “Bring soap, shampoo, Kleenex.” We would keep this cottage in mind for a further long weekend lake trip.

This home was very comfortable for the 6 of us. We had 4 adults and two young kids. The seaweed mat at the end of the dock was key for swimming with the kids. The main floor area is perfect size and worked awesome for cooking ourselves or ordering in. We also loved the deck. Mornings were great with the sunrise and afternoons were nice and shady when it was at its hottest. The communication with Mike, the owner was excellent. Loved our week.

House was well located towards the southern end of the lake, but no more than 20 minutes from the villages and things to do. Property was clean, although there was a lot of goose poop in the yard. Overall a great place to stay for a Finger Lakes getaway.

My husband and I stayed for our two-year anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better spot. The property is well-maintained, comfortable, and has great amenities. The view of the lake and the access to it is fantastic - we spent time every day either lounging on the deck or by the fire pit. Letchworth State Park is an easy drive away, and so are plenty of restaurants and stores. We would definitely come back here again!

We had a fantastic time, extremely, extremely clean and great neighbors. Kids caught tons of fish, they had a blast on the swim platform, boat launch is very close. Will stay again for sure!!!!

We stayed for two nights. The weekend was really hot so it was nice to be by the water. House was clean and comfortable. Everything was as described. Great views from the deck. The only comment I have is that I was not aware that bath towels were not provided. My daughter had some so it was fine.

Great house, I usually get nervous cooking in places that are unfamiliar, but the kitchen was fully stock and everything was spotless. My kids and grandchild had a great time on the floating dock and paddle boat. Only thing that could of made it better if fire pit was a little farther over for all of us to gather around it, but it was still a great night if s'mores. I highly recommend staying here. Very close to activities, we went to Stonybrook park, rode go karts, mini golf.
