Sandy's place was the perfect venue for members of our family to reunite for the first time in many years. The rooms were comfortable and the view of the lake with autumn leaves was spectacular. Lots of memories - thank you!

The house was so comfortable and had everything we needed. The location couldn’t be better to enjoy a morning coffee on the deck while the family fished off the docks. There were also lots of great restaurants in the area that we got to try. Be sure to also visit Letchworth Park. Sandy was very responsive to any questions I had and was a perfect host and have us great suggestions to do in the areas. My entire family loved our visit and the house. We played a different board game each night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Conesus Lake home. Not only was this an outstanding home, but the owner has it so well supplied for all of your needs so that one can relax and just enjoy this beautiful home and lovely views. Enjoyed multiple day trips for wine tasting and state park views. Restaurants nearby are easily reached and great food. A wonderful week in a beautiful part of the U.S. Look forward to enjoying in the future.

We had an incredible stay in this beautiful setting. Used the kayaks frequently. Spacious house giving room for all 3 couples in our family. Daughter and son-in-law from Texas. Son and fiancé from Virginia. Perfect setting for hanging out, sharing family stories, cooking and eating together. Explored Letchworth state park, local wineries, bookstores and polish restaurant in Geneseo, Vitale park, war museum with WW planes. Comfortable beds too, and I’m picky and beds. Loved everything about this place!!

Beautiful property on the lake
This house is gorgeous, clean, and serene. The owner is excellent at communicating and very thoughtful. The house has everything your family could need for a week at the lake. We were there in the winter so did not get to enjoy water sports but it was great for a two-family reunion during covid times. The owner even stopped by mid week and dropped off brand new board games for the kids. I would 100% recommend this house and hope to return in the summer to enjoy the lake as well!

Thanksgiving get away!
This property was just perfect for a little family getaway for Thanksgiving! The house was warm and cozy and had everything we needed! The view of the lake was beautiful! There is plenty to do even when it was cold and snowy. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return again when it’s warm and we can enjoy the water and all it has to offer!

Amazing all around!
6 adults stayed for the week and we had the best time! The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We had asked for wood as we all love to have campfires and when we arrived there was only enough wood for one night. Sandy was quick to bring more wood and supplied us with more than we needed. Communication with Sandy was awesome and she was an absolute joy to work with. She recommended some great places and I highly recommend Embers Woodfire Grille and Tee≥es. We went to both places twice since the food was that good! We went to a bunch of breweries, made glass pumpkins at the Corning Glass Museum and also a spontaneous trip to Niagara Falls since we realized it was under a 2 hour drive. We all agreed that we will be back to enjoy the lake in the warmer months. Thank you, Sandy!! You are top notch!

WOW...what a fabulous week at the lake. This was our first time booking thru VRBO and I dare say the bar had been set high!! This was our "backup" vacation for our Alaska Disney Cruise they was cancelled for Covid....happy to have experienced the Finger Lakes instead! The house was spot on ( and even better) then the description. The pictures do not do the "live" beautiful as lake front views justice.
The home was very well appointmented with a well set kitchen, abundant towels/linen, high quality furniture & comfy beds, and so many thoughtful extras such as array of games/toys for young and old, various size life jackets to use with the house provided kayaks...and even fresh flowers from the garden greetings us when we arrived. Great location to various craft breweries, wine trails, and an easy drive to Corning Museum. The owner, Sandy, was a wealth of tips during our stay. We've rented home at various beach and lake resorts around the US and beyond and hope future VRBO stays are as great as this.
Looking forward to another stay here in the future!

Thank you Sandy for your wonderful lakefront house! My husband, adult son and I had a very relaxing week-long stay here. The spacious layout of the house, comfortable beds, nice towels and linens, 2 story windows in the great room, well stocked kitchen, 1st floor storage room, upper and lower level docks, and kayaks all added up to the nicest stay we have ever had in a VRBO property! We liked having top and bottom decks to sit on.. the lower deck offered shade in the afternoon, which we prefer.
As described, the cove where your house is located is very quiet. Even on Saturday afternoon, when the weather was sunny and perfect, there were not too many boats on the lake. We swam, kayaked, and enjoyed the view. I appreciate the 5 mph speed restriction for boats beyond the buoys in the cove. We splashed around without worrying. The water temperature in the lake was just right for swimming too. As you advised, wearing water shoes is a must for the lake.
Wegman's Supermarket was located about 7 miles/14 minutes away. Wegman's had a lot of prepared foods, which we preferred to dining out most of the week. We did go to Ember Woodfire Grill, which has outside dining (not mentioned on their website). Even on a Tuesday night at 6 pm the restaurant was full - make reservations 2 weeks ahead if you can.
We had never been to the western Finger Lakes before, so we had fun exploring. Letchworth State Park is about 30 min away (go to the southern entrance for the nicest views and easy access to the waterfalls). We took a 45 minute drive to Rochester, where we checked out the large, year-round Farmer's Market (best produce we have ever seen, coming from all the farms in this region), and had lunch at Genesee Ale's Brew House. Reserve a table on the small outside 2nd floor deck for a great view of large waterfalls.
If you have any fossil lovers in the family, you can sign up for a 2 hour fossil hunting expedition at Penn Dixie Fossil Park and Nature Preserve, 70 miles west of this house. We discovered that fossil lovers come from many states to dig in the shale.. We combined this trip with an afternoon visit to Niagara Falls (100 miles from this house).
Thank you Sandy for being such a considerate host. A week on the waterfront was just what we needed!

We stayed for a week - 2 families with 2 12 yr old kids. Sandy was available the entire time and very helpful with anything we needed. She came with an air pump (we forgot ours) and hand soap refill within a few minutes. The house looks fresh and we had everything we needed.
As I think others have said, there needs to be a rail added nearest the dock stairs - I'm sure it'll be addressed soon, as there was still some finishing touches being done during our stay, like a railing near the firepit.
We would all stay again!
