About this house rental

Come relax and enjoy all that Honeoye Lake and the surrounding Finger Lakes have to offer at this newly remodeled 1,300 sq. ft. year-round home. The main level has an open floor plan featuring a large living room with plenty of natural light, a spacious kitchen with a vaulted ceiling, a full bath, and two bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed. The upstairs has one large bedroom with a queen sized bed and a futon. The house is located just steps from the lake and you have access to a dock and boat hoist.

There is a community park a short walk away that has a beach, playground, swings, small basketball court, and plenty of open land.

The house is conveniently located at the north end of the lake. The town of Honeoye is less than a five-minute drive away and features quaint restaurants and shops. The surrounding area has many things to see and do.

A truly lovely property in a truly lovely location. Quiet, peaceful, wonderfully close to the water and in a truly charming neighborhood. A comfortable stay and very convenient to other lakes, a CVS & Grocery store. Just a lovely place and the hosts were very welcoming.

This property was perfect for a girls weekend. The layout of the cottage was just right, it was clean and the furniture was very comfortable. The owner left us a bottle of wine which was very thoughtful. The lake was at the end of the street and so pretty as the leaves were just beginning to change. We would definitely return for another girls weekend or separately with our husbands.

The cottage was adorable & comfortable. The weeds in the front could have been cleaned up. Also would have been good to have a grab bar in the shower. The owner responded to my texts right way.

We used this house as a base for a family event in Rochester, NY (about 40 minutes away). The house was very comfortable for our group of 4 (and actually could fit more). Kitchen was fully stocked. David is a very responsive and helpful host. The lake is beautiful (great views from the 2nd floor window). And it's very easy to visit the wineries/breweries of the NY finger lakes from here. We had a great time!

Loved this Vrbo... one of the best ones so far! Hooks for your towels! Tasteful decorating (not stacked with Walmart wall hangings). Just what's needed on the kitchen. Highly recommend this place!

The house and amenities were exactly what we needed for a holiday weekend getaway with family. The space is clean and we'll organized. The location is perfect with lots of opportunities for walks, lake shore, and park/playground. Easy check in/out and welcoming communication.

Had a delightful time at David and Megan’s house at Honeoye Lake! Was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at how spacious it was! Very clean and amenities were great - even included a bottle of NY wine! Had family down a few of the days and never felt crowded! Definitely planning on revisiting next year!!

This home is perfect for a nice vacation in a charming little lakeside neighborhood. The property has all the comforts of home. Plenty of space and a beautiful view of the lake from the upstairs bedroom and front porch. So glad we stayed here. We went on many day trips and it was a good central location for trips to Watkins Glen and Niagara Falls.

It fit our needs for our time in NY state. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us and energetic child. Close to our NY family and big enough for pizza night. Lots of room to walk and great granddaughter enjoyed the play ground even in the rain.

Stayed here with my mom and 2 daughters (1.5yo & 4yo). House was as described and very conveniently located near lake and playground. Nice fire pit and overall setup. Quiet neighborhood, but short drive to another playground, grocery store, ice cream and Cumming Nature Center. Great vacation spot for families!

We used this property last year and loved it, and this year was no exception. David is a great host, the house is clean and well maintained and we are always happy to visit. He also took the time to mail out a stuffed animal that was left behind. Would recommend to anyone.

If you're looking for a nice getaway with friends, family, or just need to getaway by yourself this is the place to be. This year was the fourth year we have stayed at David's cottage and it never disappoints. He has always been very accommodated and the place is very quaint. David goes above and beyond for his renters. I would recommend staying here for your next getaway!!

This cozy cottage, but with plenty of room, was the perfect place to celebrate a milestone birthday and early Mother's day with my family. We made use of the property being steps from the lake by taking our kayaks to their dock and launching from there. There is a fire pit with Adirondack style chairs as well as a patio table and chairs to relax at in the backyard and David and Megan have made available outdoor games as well as indoor games, videos, and cable to keep everyone occupied. Within walking distance is a nice park and playground for kids. Truly a wonderful place to get away for all ages! Would highly recommend! David and Megan are so pleasant to communicate with and make every effort to insure a great stay!

This lakeside cottage was a great place for a long weekend celebrating our granddaughter’s 10th birthday. Plenty of room for grandma, grandpa, mom, dad and two preteens. Lots of walks, sightseeing drives and games.
