About this house rental

Our home is located in a quiet and relaxing lakefront community. Watch the deer from the porch or a sunrise like no other from the dock. Fish and swim all day then have a bonfire by the lake! Have lunch or dinner on the back porch or sun deck. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat with fun in the sun this is the place for you.

If you want to pair college football with lake activities you are in luck ... Clemson is 45 minutes away and the University of Georgia is 1 hour away.

Sleeps 10 with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Master has king bed and large bath with separate shower and air tub along with a walk out porch overlooking the lake. King bed on main level. The other 2 bedrooms offer queen beds. There is also a murphy bed in the living room and futon on 2nd level.

Gentle walk to the water. Bring your own boat or rent one nearby. Our dock is situated on quiet cove right off the main channel. Tugaloo State Park has several boat ramps and is only 1 mile away. The state park also offers hiking trails, putt-putt and tennis.

Local grocery stores and shopping close by. Greenville, SC is 45 minutes away and Tanger Outlet in Commerce, GA is 30 minutes away.

There is plenty of room to park several cars in the drive plus ample space to park a boat trailer.

Beautiful home, comfortable and kid friendly. Loved morning coffee on the porch, watching the deer. Enjoyed the lake and fishing. Was a great week with our family!

This was our second stay at this property and live every part of it. House has been improved with even more living space and updated upper and lower decks for great outdoor living. House is spacious, modern, clean, and very inviting! I he dock is a great place to hang out with ample seating and great water to swim/float your day away. Will definitely be coming back for more summer time fun! Thanks for the great stay!

I don’t even know where to begin. This property is beautiful and just and pictured. The dock ladder was so convenient. Communication with the host was simple and answered promptly. I’d love to be there now!!!!!!!!

We had a wonderful time here. The house is perfectly decorated, the beds were so comfortable. Watching the deer every morning on the screen porch over coffee was fabulous!! We caught a good bit of catfish and cooked them while we were there. I am ready to come and stay again!

This served as our family’s summer vacation spot this year and beat all our expectations! The property is even better in person, spacious, and well kept! We spent the week taking advantage of the dock and enjoying the sunshine. The kitchen is huge and accommodated our family of 8 perfectly. Host is incredible and very helpful responsive to any questions or needs that may arise. We will definitely consider visiting this site again! Thanks, Karen!

Perfect location

This is a FANTASTIC place if you have a family with little ones. So much room, inside and outside play area for the kids, infant equipped, a ton of room to gather in the kitchen. A great place and enough room for 2 families to share. We had a blast.

This is great property, exactly as advertised. Perfect for our blended family of three generations (one grand, two adults, four teens). Only about 10 minutes on water to the marina to rent boat there, or about 5 minutes from the nearby State Park that also has boat put in. Interior and exterior spaces were great and supported all of our eating/gaming/ relaxing activities. Nice swim off the dock and fantastic to float on some rafts as the dock is in a cove (not much boat traffic at all). Gas grill worked great. Dishwasher was broken but I think has since been replaced. We didn't mind. Communication was great. Overall peaceful and fun. We will stay again!!

The home was perfect and the lake is amazing. It's in a quiet cove and the water is about 8 ft deep at the dock. It's perfect for swimming, paddleboarding or kayaking. The home was perfect for our group. All the beds were comfy, the kitchen was very nice and had everything that we needed, and the bathrooms were very nice, especially the upstairs one. We all spent a ton of time on the screen porch too. We'll be coming back!

I would come back here in a heartbeat. It there was so much to do right on property that we never even had to leave the house at all. The hosts were so accommodating and easy to get ahold of. They even contacted to ask if we arrived and got in okay.

My husband, friends, and myself really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is perfect. The dock is a really great place to spend the day fishing or relaxing. The lake is about as clean as lakewater can be, the view is beautiful, and everything was as advertised. We had everything we needed. Thank you for renting out such a lovely place.

This home fit all of our needs and more! The property is beautiful - perfect for all ages. We had a range of adults, young teenagers and a toddler and all were thoroughly happy. We were able to bring our boat and launch it nearby and keep at the property which made it super easy to go out for the day or whenever we want. The owner was extremely responsive & helpful with any questions we had. What a wonderful week with lasting memories. Thank you for sharing your home!

Our family had an excellent experience from start to finish. Karen, the owner, was very response and helpful. The home was exceptionally clean and neat with beautiful decor. We loved the screened in porch and watching the deer visit each day. The walk down to the dock was an easy walk and the dock was perfect for swimming, swinging and pure relaxation! We played cards on the picnic table on the dock in the evening. We also kept our tritoon boat rental easily on the side of the dock. Our family enjoyed grilling and cooking all our meals with the well stocked kitchen. The only thing that surprised us was that the master bedroom upstairs did not have a door. It has more of a semi private loft feel. With teenagers it was less private than we expected, but overall we had a wonderful time!

We absolutely LOVED this home!! There wasn't alot of clutter, and the screened in porch is carpeted which made watching our 9 month old so much easier!!! It seriously felt like home (if your home is gorgeous and on the lake with neighborhood deer that stop by all day.) I seriously felt so sad to leave!!

This house was amazing. We have stayed at a number of other houses and this one was by far our favorite. It was a nice quiet setting with great views and you could set your watch by what time the deer would come through. While not having WIFI was sometimes an inconvenience it was actually nice to disconnect from everything for a while. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone.

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay in your warm, comfortable home. We like to cook and found everything we needed in the kitchen - it is very well equipped. The fall decorations added to the feeling we were "at home." Even the sheets were soft and the beds very comfortable - we all slept really well. We travel to Lavonia several times a year to be with grandkids and all agree we have found our home away from home. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Clemson Fall Family Weekend

We had already planned to arrive for Family Weekend at Clemson but came a day early because we evacuated from Myrtle Beach due to Hurricane Florence. The kind homeowner offered us an additional night for free. We were overwhelmed with anxiety so this was a very nice gesture. The home was beautiful. It was decorated for Fall and was perfect. The upstairs had wall to ceiling tongue and groove white knotty pine. Just absolutely gorgeous! The deer were plentiful and visited us morning and night. The view from the house was a sight to see. There is a huge screened in porch where we sat and put together a puzzle as a family. The Tugaloo State Park is just down the street. We took the teenagers there to rent kayaks and canoes. The water was clear and refreshing. We swam and paddled for hours with awesome views of the mountains in the background. We would recommend this house to anyone that just wants to unplug and will try to rent again when we visit our daughter at Clemson University. Thank you again for a memorable family Weekend and your kindness.
