This 2400 sq. ft., 4 bedroom / 3 bath cabin sleeps 11 comfortably and is only 21 miles from the west entrance of Yellowstone Park, a scenic drive that takes less than 20 minutes. It’s also only a quarter mile from ATV and snowmobile rentals and an access point to the famous Island Park trail system. You can ride either ATVs or snowmobiles, in season, on the hundreds of miles of intersecting trails traversing this pristine natural wonderland that includes Island Park, ID and West Yellowstone, MT. We have a very large garage where you can park you snowmobiles, ATVs, drift boats, and other toys while you explore the park.
The entire family will enjoy this location. Within less than 3/4 mile from the cabin you’ll have access to a 9-hole golf course, tennis courts, restaurants, a grocery store and more. Within a 5 mile radius you can enjoy fishing or boating on Henry’s Lake or the Henry’s Fork of the Snake River. Rafts, kayaks, canoes and bicycles can also be rented 1/4 mile from the cabin.
The private 1/2 acre property surrounding Eagle’s Nest is forested with lodge pole pines. You’ll enjoy the sights and sounds of nature from the raised wrap-around deck. The birds in Island Park are amazing. Depending on the season you can see and hear flocks of trumpeter swans and waterfowl, ospreys, hawks, eagles, hummingbirds, finches and many species of song birds. The thing you'll notice about Island Park is that wildlife is everywhere: deer, antelope, moose, elk, chipmunks, squirrels and rabbits abound.
Inside, the tastefully rustic decor is inviting. The furniture is comfortable. The upstairs has pine vaulted ceilings throughout. The great room contains a spacious and well-equipped cook’s kitchen, a dining table that seats up to 10, and a living area with a cozy gas fireplace, leather furniture and a 48" TV. The comfortable master bedroom has a king size bed and an adjoining bathroom with a large tiled shower and jetted tub. Two other bedrooms have queen beds and the fourth has 2 sets of bunk beds (twin/full and twin/twin). Each bedroom has easy access to one of the 3 full bathrooms. The downstairs provides a spacious family room with comfortable leather seating and an amazing 65” TV. Fast WIFI allows you to stream video from Netflix, Amazon, YouTube and more, using your accounts. You can also watch Dish Network satellite TV (Top 200 channels) or watch Blu Ray discs from our collection, or rented nearby.
If you’re looking for a comfortable home base for exploring Yellowstone and enjoying the great outdoors with your entire family, you’ll love our Eagle’s Nest! There are lots of other day trips to choose from, including Teton National Park, Mesa Falls, Harriman State Park, the Red Rocks Lakes nature preserve (a bird watchers dream), and more. Enjoy horseback riding, whitewater or scenic rafting, boating, fishing and hiking. We’ll share our favorite spots for soaking in a natural hot spring or swimming in scenic splendor.

This was perfect for our family. 20 minutes from West Yellowstone and the west entrance. Very nice home. Fully stocked kitchen utensils and appliances. Comfortable beds. Very much enjoyed our stay with family.

This year’s vacation was due to unfortunate circumstances with my mother’s funeral being the main reason for the stay but our family had been going up to Island Park for years as my mother and her siblings spent their summers in a cabin that was built by my great-great grandfather.
Unfortunately that property was lost to us so now we rent when we go back but Eagle’s Nest is a beautiful property, well furnished, comfortable and fully stocked with necessities. For the few things you do end up needing, it’s also conveniently located across the street from the new Sam Patch grocery store and about a 30-40 minute drive to all of the local activities. Not a single complaint involved with our stay and would definitely stay again.

This house has everything you need for family vacation and very clean. We were there for a surprise snow in June and by the end of the week we had 76 degree days! No ac but fans helped keep everyone cool toward end of week. Cools off at night. Location was good for going into Yellowstone west gate.

We landed here for a snowmobile trip. Great location. Leave the house on your sleds. Park in the garage when you get back. Plenty of space for the eight of us and all of our gear. Groceries and gas right down the street. Quiet neighborhood. The host was so easy to work with and fast response to any questions I had.

This home was a great place for us to land each night after we spent the day in YNP. It was a straight shot into West Yellowstone and then into the park. It had plenty of room and was very comfortable for our family.

We rented this property for a mini family reunion and to visit Yellowstone for the first time. There were 3 couples and 2 kids, so the bedroom configuration was just what we needed. The three separate bathrooms was a big plus. The upstairs/downstairs set up allowed the young family to be together with their own den on the lower level and the older adults occupying the upper part of the house. The beds were all very comfortable and plenty of storage for your things..Lots of closet space as well. The kitchen/dinning room/den area on the 2nd floor was a very open floor plan and gave us plenty of room to move around while preparing and serving meals. The kitchen had everything you could imagine provided, including condiments of all types, coffee, hot chocolate, etc. TVs were large and easy to operate. Having a washer and dryer was a big plus. There was plenty of parking close to the house, which was great as we brought 3 cars. The house is located about a 20 minute drive from the west entrance to Yellowstone. There are several gas stations close by and an excellent restaurant, Connie's just inside a cabin rental village. Suggest you get reservations..it is VERY popular. There is also a nice new grocery store within a mile of the house. I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone coming to visit Yellowstone or just spending time in the area.

My family, my sister’s family and our parents all spent one week at this wonderful cabin just outside of Yellowstone. It was the perfect size for us. We all had plenty of room, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We cooked dinner there every night after spending the day in the park. We even used the crock pot one night. It was quiet, clean and cozy. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone! No issues whatsoever. It was our first time in Yellowstone and it was definitely a vacation to remember. Thank you!

We were not there an hour before we booked our trip for next year. The cabin was beautiful and so well stocked with amenities that we wanted for nothing. Cannot wait to come back!

This was a comfortable stay in Island Park. It was unfortunate that there was still so much snow because we were limited in outside activities. (Obviously that isn't the hosts fault, just something to keep in mind if booking for this time of year.)
Pros: location was great, the cabin had a great layout, had most of what we needed during our stay, each room had heaters (which were needed in the downstairs area bedrooms), nice to park the cars in the garage, TVs and internet worked ... it was all around a comfortable stay.
Cons: mostly nothing that couldn't have been solved just by contacting the owner, but we didn't feel the need, so that's on us.
Couldn't go wrong for the price and location.

This place was our favorite place we’ve stayed in island park with our family of 6! We enjoyed the close to everything feel and it was so clean and spacious. Our kids really enjoyed the two large TVs that they could stream things on at night when we got back from our outdoor trips. We will book here again and tell all our friends and family about it as well!

This cabin was great! Lots of room for our family of 8 with great amenities. It has everything you need!

This nice property was well equipped and well supplied. Everything worked. It had plenty of cook wear and kitchen appliances, and a functional propane BBQ. The detached garage should be able to store four smaller cars.
The property managers smartly left in place appropriate food items from previous renters. Everyone should do this. It made it feel like visiting a friend's house. Likewise, we left many of our food items for the next renters (I hope you enjoy excessive granola bars).
Since we planned to hike in Yellowstone, we purchased two cans of bear spray before our arrival at the property. When we eventually departed, we left our two cans alongside a third can that had likely been left in the property by previous renters. So, as of September 2022, there may be three cans of bear spray in the laundry room available for borrow during hikes.
Thank you to the property owners, property managers, and previous guests.

Highly recommend this home! Our family of 4 travelled with another family of 4 to experience Yellowstone. This place was perfect for our indoor time with 4 kiddos.

We had the most amazing time. I chose this place because of the size of the cabin ( everyone had their own bedroom) and location. We spent time between Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole. This was a great place to stay. It had anything you could need, but we especially enjoyed the fans. Idaho was having a heat wave and this place does not have air conditioning. We are from AL, so the heat is not a problem. We have air conditioners that stay on 70. Thanks for the fans!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Well laid out with bedrooms and bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen—made good use of the crockpot for after a long day in Yellowstone. Enjoyed the fire pit.

We loved our experience in this property. There was plenty of room for us. Having the laundry available was very nice. And, as others have said, the kitchen was very well stocked - this included half and half, mayo, and mustard, which we were not expecting. There is a full spice rack and plenty of coffee filters. So, you may want to look at what is in the kitchen before you buy supplies. Everything was really great about this stay for us. It's about 25 minutes away from the west gate of Yellowstone which was perfect for us.

Dream Vacation
We loved this property. It was super clean and convenient to Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and all the wonders Island Park has to offer.
Our family of 7 had plenty of room to spread out and we were pleasantly surprised by the many extra amenities we found throughout the home.

Perfect place despite imperfect circumstances.
We were thrilled with the cabin and the location! It worked our great for the 6 adults and 5 children.
Unfortunately, we only got to go into Yellowstone one day and it rained all day- which caused the flood that washed out roads and shut down the park for the rest of our stay. But, we made lots of lemonade and saw beautiful things that we would have missed!
