This apartment was the perfect location to explore NYC, with so much to enjoy on your doorstep or a short stroll away. The best of Lower Manhattan's eateries, coffee shops, and bars are minutes away, whether you are looking for brunch, dinner or just liquid refreshment. Access to the subway is perfect for those trips further afield too. The apartment itself is a really good size, has postcard views, and feels like a home from home with a very well appointed kitchen and all the comforts of modern living (including numerous takeout menus for a night in !). The host was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The only downside for those not used to it, is that traffic noise is 24 hours - but sound insulation is good & it's NYC, so that's to be expected. 5 Stars. Excellent apartment.

The unit at 199 Bowery was exactly what we were looking for. It was equipped with all the necessities. So nice to come back to after shopping, exploring & Broadway Shows! We really enjoyed meeting & talking with the doormen. So friendly & courteous! Thanks Claudia & Paul for making our trip so enjoyable with your rental! Janice & Jim Eyerman

Claudia's apartment was a good base for our 10-night girls' trip to NYC. The apartment was located within an easy walking distance of several subway stops and we navigated Manhattan and Brooklyn with ease. There were tons of great restaurants, shopping and various services (groceries and laundry service) within a few blocks of the apartment as is typical of Manhattan neighborhoods. The closet and drawer space was more than enough to accommodate four ladies who brought too many clothes!
Claudia was responsive during the booking process and did respond promptly when we had issues related to the excessive heat in the apartment. However, it would have been nice if she had checked in with us within the first few days of our stay as a courtesy to see how we were managing.
The doormen for the building were all courteous and sweet and offered a smile and conversation each time we left or returned to the building.
As the apartment is "downtown" it was extraordinarily noisy so earplugs are a must if you want a restful sleep. We did experience issues with the heating system and despite the owners' attempt to have this alleviated our only reprieve was to open the windows to excessive and incessant honking. This was my seventh stay in New York and this was one of the noisiest neighborhoods I have experienced. The restaurant and nightclub directly below this unit did not help!
We had an extremely busy itinerary during our stay so our time in the apartment was primarily to sleep and prepare breakfast before heading out for the day. The kitchen was well equipped, however, a larger coffee machine would be more appropriate. The Keurig machine advertised was not provided.
The apartment, by New York standards, was massive and offered big windows in the living room with views to Soho and the One World Trade Center and views of the sunset.
This unit could be improved with more lighting, especially in the living area and rearrangement of furnishing to allow for a table and four chairs. The apartment accommodates four to sleep but only three to eat together. The building and unit were described as new construction but this was a remodel at best with some touch-ups on the walls needed. The antique intercom phone at the entrance was a dead giveaway as to the age of the building!
We thank Claudia for sharing her apartment with us for our time fabulous time in Manhattan.

If you are looking for a spacious, clean and beautiful apartment in Nolita, look no further. Claudia and Paul's place was fantastic. We stayed in this apartment for a week and there were four of us. It's hard to find an apartment of this size in NYC so this is truly a gem. It is conveniently located and you are in walking distance to many great restaurants in the area. Whole Foods Market is just around the corner so we would get groceries and make breakfast in the morning. The kitchen was well-equipped. The doorman was friendly and we all felt safe in the building. Claudia was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.

Just perfect for us. It was our fiftieth anniversary and our kids stayed with us. Plenty of room two bedrooms two baths in the perfect location. Went to great restaurants (most recommended by Claudia) and walked every time. Just loved that it was located so close to lower east side, Chinatown, Little Italy and Soho. One of our best vacations ever! Nolita is now our favorite area in NYC!

A few blocks from Chinatown and the heart of Little Italy, this place is convenient to neighborhood restaurants, groceries, and the subway. We stayed 8 nights and we will stay here again when visiting New York.

The apartment is great.
It's spotlessly clean and all rooms are of a good size. The facilities in the apartment and the building itself are excellent. There wasn't anything that we needed in the apartment that wasn't there.
A new restaurant has opened on the streeet level in the same building its seriously good and very cool. It's called Vandal.
If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs as being on a busy street it can get noisy.
The location of the apartment is excellent.

We had a really wonderful stay here, for almost 3 weeks. The location is so handy to the grocery, wine and paper store, the New Museum, one block from NOLITA and lots of action around. Paul and Claudia were great to work with. We have very few issues -changing a light bulb- and it was addressed immediately. The condo has everything you need to make meals, and restaurants abound if you don't want to cook. The view of the Freedom Center and all the street activity was great to watch. My husband had orthopedic surgery and it kept him entertained : ) And the FDR Highway is right there!
I can't say enough about the fabulous on site staff. They were so kind and helpful. They helped us send out our laundry, held the door for my husband and were always chipper.
If there is a negative, it is the street noise. While we were there, there was road construction and construction of a building next door. There was no noise from inside the building. We quickly used the " White Noise" on our phones and the problem was solved.
I would recommend this place in a heart beat.

I'm so glad we found this two-bed, two-bath condo in this great area between the East and West Village. Easy walking to subway to catch a broadway show or go to museums. Great shopping within walking distance - and good food in the neighborhood. The doorman, Kori couldn't have been more helpful or cheerful. The rooftop deck is also wonderful, as you can get outside, but be above the street in a private area. Highly recommend this place. Dont' stay in a hotel, but live like a New Yorker!

Our stay at Nolita Place Condominium was a memorable one. We immediately felt like at home. So much better than staying at a hotel! The listing photos totally reflect what you'll find in the apartment and the views are indeed gorgeous. Friendly building staff and very responsive owner. Superb location to explore SOHO and lower Manhattan. Highly recommended.

I absolutely loved staying here! This was my first time renting a condo in NYC instead of staying at a hotel and it was definitely the best choice, and I will do it again. The condo is located in the most convenient location, close walking distance to awesome restaurants, shops, salons, ect. The condo is really spacious. I stayed with 3 other people and we all had more than enough room. The beds are super comfortable, I slept like a baby every night. The living room is large and comfortable, nice to watch TV and relax after a long day of walking around New York. I absolutely loved staying here and I would gladly stay again.

Our complete experience in renting this condo was great! The owners always responded immediately with any inquires or comments we had. The description and photos on line were true to what we rented. The place was very clean and comfortable for 4 girls on the loose in NYC! All we needed was definately provided in the condo including linens, cooking utensils, friendly doorman, etc. The location of the condo was excellent and within walking distance to so many great areas. Our first experience with VRBO and specifically this condo was amazing and we would certainly recommend it to anyone! We'll be back!

We were very happy with our experience at this condo. It is a great deal compared to hotel rooms. It is much larger and cheaper for 4 people. The condo is clean, in a good location and actually kind of fancy. We made the error of mentioning to the doorman that we wanted to use the gym and he said that guests weren't allowed (insurance). I should have just read the owner's directions and we would have been fine. But we didn't have time to use the gym anyway because we were too busy having fun. I would definitely recommend this to any of my family and friends and will definitely inquire the next time we are in town. Please note that a deposit is required. It was not a problem, but I didn't see it in the original description and I've never had to pay a deposit on the other 5 VRBO places I've rented. But, the deposit was returned immediately, so that was excellent. If I were to rent out my place, I'd definitely require a deposit, too. All in all, it was very great and thank you very much.

Excellent apartment with hugh amounts of space and amentities. The beds are excellent, the two bathrooms help to avoid conflicts and the master bedroom allows for peace and quietThe view at night is spectacular, exactly as shown in the posting. If you are into boutique shopping like my daughter and wife this area is perfect. If you are a foodie there seems to be endless choices. Try Public on Elizabeth, one of the best meals I've ever had! Very eclectic. Apizz was also excellent. Overall, we had a great time. Many thanks to Paul for the opportunity to enjoy.

My 20-something daughter, husband and I had a perfect Thanksgiving weekend, based in this apartment. We stayed Wednesday through Saturday nights and thoroughly enjoyed the facilities and the neighborhood. The apartment was spacious and well-appointed. My daughter had plenty of privacy in the second bedroom with its own bath. My son joined us for Thanksgiving dinner, all food prepared by Whole Foods only a couple of blocks away, but we were able to heat everything and serve it easily in the apartment. This experience was so superior to staying in a hotel. Our family was able to gather in the living room and watch a movie after our Thanksgiving dinner (owner Paul has a large supply of dvd's). Paul was very helpful with nearby restaurant recommendations for our other evenings in the city. We walked through Soho several times on Friday and Saturday, shopping, eating, getting exercise -- everything was so accessible. We also walked down and crossed the Brooklyn Bridge, probably only 15 minutes away. We had spent time in Soho before, but further explored the Lower East Side and the Financial District -- will definitely return and hope to stay at this apartment again!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment in lower manhatten. The owner was very helpful with places to go and things to do. His communication with us was fast and effecient. We had seen all the major attractions in NYC and wanted to experience something a little different. This location allowed us to stay within 3-4 blocks and get everything we wanted. The subway is very close if you need it and the area got pretty quite after midnight for some much needed sleep. This place allows you to stay close, or get anywhere on the subway which is just a couple blocks away. The staff and the apartment was very friendly and the place was very secure. There is also a gym and laundry room downstairs if you need it. Thanks to Paul and his professionalism, we had a great stay.
