About this house rental

There is nothing like this anywhere in the area! What was once an estate until 1984, has been turned into an exclusive, private community for 21 families. This rental underwent a beautiful, full-house renovation - completed May 2014. It is the only Oceanfront rental property in Seagate, and in Rehoboth/Dewey to accommodate 10 people, and have breathtaking views of the ocean, while overlooking 2 large pools.

The first level of this 3-story single family home has 4 bedrooms all with private bathrooms (king bed , queen bed, 2 rooms with a queen/full bed and bunk beds), along with a laundry room, large covered and uncovered patio with a firepit and outside shower. The main (middle) floor is a beautiful, wide-open floor plan that spaciously accommodates a large kitchen/dining area, separate wet bar area, family room w/flat screen TV and in/outdoor stereo system, card table nook, and large deck. The third floor is a fully-dedicated, private master suite with king bed overlooking ocean, 2 private decks, an office area, exercise equipment, second laundry/dressing area, and large bathroom. This area is currently limited to private use, and may be rented for an additional fee at the owner's discretion. *PLEASE KNOW WITH THE LIMITED AVAILABILITY LEFT FOR NEXT SUMMER, THE FEE CURRENTLY INCLUDES THE 3RD FLOOR.

The community has a casual resort/country-club feel, due to the abundance of amenities and conveniences. Aside from the 2 large heated pools, our guests have full access to the sports court (tennis, pickleball, basketball), Manor House game room/main level/ocean deck (right next door!), complementary breakfast on weekends and holidays, complementary beach chairs and umbrellas (that are even set up for you), and 2 off-street parking spaces.

The location is probably the best around as well. Conveniently situated between Rehoboth and Dewey Beaches, you will be walking distance from either town, or you can enjoy the 'Jolly Trolly' shuttle that stops right at the end of our block during the summer. Both towns have amazing character and plenty of dining, shopping, entertainment, and boardwalk fun. It is also a quiet residential street, so you will be distant enough for tranquility.

In season (Memorial-Labor Day) available for weekly rentals only (Friday-Friday). 3 night minimum in off-season, 4-5 nights holiday dependent. Tenant provides linens, towels, soap and paper products, but we have a wonderful concierge team you can contract with to handle this for you.

My family had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful location. We could not enjoy everything Rehobeth had to offer due to COVID, but we shared great family times together, did a lot of cooking together in the awesome kitchen and enjoyed the outstanding deck overlooking the ocean and pools.

This is without a doubt one of the best vacation rentals in Rehoboth. True ocean front with the added benefit of also overlooking two recently renovated pools (new pics are needed) - - including the largest toddler pool you'll ever experience outside of a water park. The view gets a "10." The location gets a "10." And the overall experience gets a "10." Minor deduct for cleanliness since I spent the first hour killing at least 15 flies. Perhaps an anomaly, but one of those 4-foot "bug vacuum wands" would be a great addition to the property along with instructions for the cleaning service to spend a little time exercising it as part of the changeover. Kim was a delight to work with. Highly recommend.

Lovely and spacious rooms with fabulous beachfront views. Every amenity imaginable, plus good parking. We held a group retreat with seven ladies, and it was a perfect setting.

I would recommend this property for anyone vacationing in Rehoboth/Dewey (adults, families, etc.). The property is in a great location. The beach is beautiful and the pools are really nice to have, especially with kids. The staff is on the property and always available and friendly (including life guards). The property was just recently updated and is clean and well-maintained. It was a great vacation - we are planning to return again next year.

We had a fantastic family vacation in this beautifully renovated beachfront home. The grandparents loved relaxing on the main deck with wonderful full-on views of the ocean. The kids loved playing in the two pools and then running right down to the beach. And the parents loved that the kids and grandparents were all happy. The home is beautifully renovated and very nicely furnished. The owners were friendly and helpful prior to my visit, as was the full-time property manager on site. The location is perfect. The beach is much less crowded than the main spots in Rehoboth, but it's still easy enough to get up to the boardwalk for Funland and everything else. This was a great find!

Our family chooses a different location and a different home each year to vacation to. This house makes it really hard to not want to come back. We had an amazing time and there is nothing more that we could have wanted on our vacation. The location and accommodations are top Notch! Thank you for sharing such a great slice of heaven. The listing description was accurate and accurately reflected the rental's appearance and amenities. The property was extremely clean and well maintained. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive during the entire process from inquiring about the property, making the reservations, through arranging a physical tour and answering questions during the period of our occupancy. We would highly recommend this property to friends and relatives. Our guests were extremely impressed with all aspects of the rental unit. We highly recommend the Seasonal activities and shopping. We loved the Annual Christmas Carol Sing and Christmas Tree lighting in downtown Rehpboth Beach.

Memorial Day weekend is one of the busiest times of year to go the beach, yet the crowds and traffic seemed a million miles away although we were situated just a short walk from all the shops, restaurants and action in both Rehoboth and Dewey. This cheerful, comfortable home in a private community is our favorite place our family has ever stayed at the beach. There is no where else in this town where you can sit on your deck overlooking beautiful pools and the ocean. When you are ready to hit the sand, your chair and umbrella are set up and ready for you. This place is a rare find, grab it, unless we beat you to it!

I don't usually write reviews but had another blissful getaway at this property and wanted to share. Our family has stayed here for many years and what I like best is the beauty of having both the beach and the pool steps from the back deck. There's plenty of room for multiple families with its open, airy feel, but you can still find a place to curl up with a book. The third floor master bedroom is like a secret hideaway right on the ocean. We easily walk to Dewey or the Rehoboth boardwalk for meals. We also love to grill outside or cook big family dinners in the functional and clean kitchen. My kids love the clubhouse and the tennis court. The memories we have made will last a lifetime.
