Had a wonderful family vacation and family reunion at Sandpiper Lane! Home is great and cottage worked well for our daughter and her husband. House was fully stocked. No need to bring TP, laundry detergent, paper towels and there were a variety of spices. Extra refrigerator in garage was great. Used folding table in garage for our 1000 piece puzzle! Kayaking was fun. Last house on dead end street-quiet! Plenty of parking. Enjoyed walking trails. Thank you Sara and Chris for sharing your lovely home.

This property was a perfect space for our family gathering. Beautiful setting, so much fun in the water and an incredibly comfortable and spacious home. We would definitely return!

The location of this house is fantastic. The kids enjoyed hiking whistler trail right by the house. Close drive to Thorny Trail’s too. Bath is really cute and had great food options. We brought Plant’s Seafood (halibut and scallops) home and cooked lots in the chef’s quality kitchen. The view from all rooms is stunning. Highlight for us was kayaking during low tide out to the island. We had a harbor seal surprise us on our ride home. House had plenty of room for our large extended family trip, and the high chair and doll house was a plus! We appreciated the owners proactive communication and found them very responsive with check-in needs.

Wooded. Lots of space. Beautiful views. A bit challenging for folks with less than great mobility. Wonderful fireplace and games to plan. Great kitchen. Nice deck. Watched eagles, ducks and geese. Not far from lots of shopping....LL Bean etc.

This is our third stay at this amazing property! Great spot for all ages!

We were a group of 8 adults ages 31 and up, immediate family plus one significant other. The house is extremely well furnished in every respect, and has great water views, including from the decks of both the main house and the cottage, which also have very comfortable seating. We got a lot of use from the private beach, both wading/swimming and nearly daily use of the kayaks and paddleboard. Bath proper itself is, for my tastes, the perfect Maine town, plenty of interesting stores within easy walking distance of each other but not crowded. We got pizza from the Portland Pies in nearby Brunswick, and lobster rolls plus clam chowder from Taste of Maine, both within easy driving distance. Highly recommended.

Every room in this house offers beautiful water views. Enjoy dinner in the dining room or patio while watching gorgeous sunsets. Bedrooms on separate levels, as well as a separate cabin, allow for privacy. House is very clean and well-equipped, and the owners are friendly and responsive. Be aware that the steps to the beach are very steep, and the beach is rocky, not sandy. The swimming and boating are great, though. We saw seals and a bald eagle!

We had the best time during our stay, seeing bald eagles and woodpeckers, swimming and paddling on the water, walking the nearby trails, taking easy drives to nearby sites. The reality is even better than the photos. So peaceful and relaxing. The house is well-stocked for a group, both in the kitchen and with the water and other game/play equipment. The hosts were flexible and very responsive, but everything was so well-explained and in great condition that we didn't need to do much other than enjoy! We all hope to be back!

Family vacation with 8 adults and plenty of room for everyone. Everyone was really pleased with the main home and we were closer to Bath than I thought we were going to be. Plenty of trails in the surrounding area and a good home base for exploring this area of Maine.

This is a lovely property
We gathered there for a family Christmas. The three levels of the house gave us ample space to spread out when we wanted to and the large living room area was great when we wanted to be together. We rented just the main house. Very clean, well stocked and tucked away for privacy but still only minutes to grocery store and beaches. The pool/pingpong table was a big hit with my neice and nephew. We even got Gramma to shoot a few balls. We will definitely consider this place again for our family get togethers.

We spent thanksgiving here w family and the house and our experience was amazing! From Bath Turkey Trot, to walks in the Preserve, to nightly gorgeous sunsets to 4 Bald Eagles flying back and forth every day. And the kitchen and beds were perfect. Love this house and spot in Maine. Will be back for summer and fall experiences. No need to leave the property! Thank you Chris and Sara. Amazing week in beautiful Maine.

We had a wonderful stay with extended family at this beautiful, clean, and comfortable home and property. We has everything we needed for a fun and relaxing stay, close to many great activities to keep the kids and out of state visitors busy and enjoying the best of what Maine and Midcoast has to offer!
Fabulous views and sunsets. Many eagle sightings!

We loved this property!!!! The house was amazing in every way; from the private beach to the nearby walking trails, views of the bay from every window, gourmet kitchen , amazing sunsets and a game room with a pool table, ping pong and darts… it just doesn’t get any better.

We are a family large group of various ages ( one crawling infant) who stayed due to a family wedding in Georgetown! The space of the home was lovely and relaxing, everything we possibly needed was there for us. The infant life vest saved us as my son forgot the baby's at his home! The scenery, seeing the eagles, the quiet- I can't give this home enough praise!

We enjoyed our stay in this home very much! It's beautiful inside and out. We loved kayaking in the river, sitting on the back deck, and when it got cooler in the evening, we enjoyed being inside with the huge windows and the gorgeous view of the sunset. The bedrooms were comfortable and the little cottage was perfect too. We highly recommend the house and will stay there again when we can!

Fully equipped kitchen with all you need for lovely dinners. Eagles soared right above our heads out last morning - perfect finish to a perfect stay. Thank you Chris and Sarah!!

We visited from Minnesota for my daughter to go to prom with a friend and for my fiancé and I to have our commitment ceremony. Everything was exactly as stated if not better. The owners were easy to contact and everything went flawless.
Our family will make this a return destination for sure!

Our experience at this property was nothing less than perfect. We travelled with 5 couples to see the fall colors and experience Maine for the first time. This home was beautiful, had ample space for all of us and great amentities. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to prepare our meals. The views were amazing. The cottage was a wonderful addition. We would highly recommend this property to anyone traveling with friends or family. Chris and Sara were great to work with and have created a wonderful vacation rental.

Five high school friends enjoyed this amazing space to catch up, share meals and enjoy the view. The accommodations were superb with more than adequate sleeping and bathroom arrangements. The kitchen was well equipped with all that we needed to create meals. We did not use any of the boats/paddle boards/etc. as the time was short and it the weather wet & chilly.

Hope we can come back to stay with you again! Your house was the best one of the whole trip. We stayed at 2 other. Not half as nice…. Thank you again, For the beautiful home and the experience of Maine. Never forget. I will definitely recommend your property to anyone that’s coming to Maine. Linda and Chuck

This house was located adjacent to a nature preserve with trails winding through 140 acres. Plus we were able to watch eagles from our windows every day, along with many other birds. The house had plenty of room and with the addition of the cottage we had a separate space for each of 3 couples.
It was close to Bath and Brunswick plus all the peninsulas across Route 1. Many, many trails and beaches to choose from.
The internet connection was very good and we had good TV reception.
A lot of amenities are included with the house. We didn't use many of them, but it was nice they were available.
Great place to stay and relax.

Fantastic location with spectacular views from pretty much every room. Two buildings on the property which was very convenient, nice deck with propane fire pit, garage with darts and ping pong table, well stocked kitchen, hiking paths nearby, and great cove area on the river which kept us entertained. The difference between high and low tide also provided nice changes throughout the day to go in the water. Would love to go back some day

We just spent a wonderful week here, and it really couldn't have been better (even though it rained for the first couple of days)! The house has so much room, the beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. The private beach was such a bonus, and the water was very warm and so great for our toddler grandson. Being dog friendly made a perfect house even better. We can't recommend this rental highly enough!

The family room living area is really lovely and the views are wonderful! Also very comfortable and great place to gather and watch the final fours! The bedrooms are very nice and the kitchen appliances are nicer than mine at home and really nice to cook with!!

We had a hiccup with the booking process due to VRBO malfunction. The owners were so great with communication once we were able to finally connect. The house is so clean and the layout was perfect. We will definitely be back when it is warmer so we can enjoy all that the house offers. Off season is a bit limited without the kayaks, patio furniture, and the added cottage bedrooms. It was a great location and perfect for a small friend staycation.

We were a group of 5 older ladies who enjoy each others company. The house location was perfect, on the water at the end of the road. We were fortunate enough to have unusual wonderfully warm weather. The layout allowed each of us to have our own sleeping quarters yet have a large space to gather together and enjoy drinks and snacks and meals.

This place is so good, I almost want to keep it a secret! The entire experience from beginning to end was flawless - Communication with Chris and Sara was excellent, checking in couldn't have been smoother, and man, the house itself was incredible! The absolutely perfect place to get away and relax - beautiful views from every room, comfortable living spaces, a kitchen that was a joy to cook in. And once you step outside, the private beach area and network of trails that were just down the road provided ample opportunity to get outside and enjoy the beauty of the area. Highest marks for this rental property, and we're already looking forward to planning our next visit!
