This 2000 square foot home sits on the Yellowstone River in the true heart of the aptly named Paradise Valley, right along the “Miracle Mile” between Mill Creek and Pine Creek. There are truly no better views of Paradise Valley than those enjoyed from this home. Even old time native Montanans rave about the views from the backyard. A quick 30-minute drive to Yellowstone National Park to the south, or 15 minutes to the genuine small-town feel of Livingston to the north.
Three bedrooms and 2.5 baths await you, but the living space is done no justice by such a simple description. The huge master (over 500 square feet, with king bed) has a spacious sitting area with a pair of indoor chaise lounges to enjoy that book and the views away from the kids, but still able to view them playing in the gorgeously grassy backyard.
Bedroom 1–King
Bedroom 2–King
Bedroom 3–Queen
The two remaining bedrooms, both decorated with brand new furniture suites, are both appointed with queen beds, and colorful, European bedding. These two bedrooms share a full bath loaded with such nice touches as ample, new, plush towels and a few toiletries to make you feel at home immediately.
To make sure every beautiful Montana day is followed by a great night’s sleep, all the home’s mattresses are brand-new Sealy Posturpedic; each topped by a fluffy down comforter.
The large living area with commanding, breath-taking views of the Yellowstone River and the 12,000 foot Absaroka Mountains. And for your after-dark entertainment, there is a TV with YouTube TV. A massive stone wood-burning fireplace completes the area.
Like to eat some meals more casually, and others more formally? Or perhaps separate the kids from the adults? No problem! A dining room area, complete with new, Swedish contemporary dining suite to seat ten and an equally new Swedish country breakfast nook table to seat six flank the upstairs kitchen. Fully stocked with 15 sets of dishes, multiple glassware styles, and flatware, the kitchen shows that we keep our renters in mind.
A stocked spice cupboard, specialty cooking tools, multiple pots and pans, and knives that actually cut can make your in-home meals fun. And everything from placements to cloth napkins and napkin rings to glass candlesticks mean a romantic meal is well within reach, despite being in the heart of Yellowstone Country.
Prefer to cook outdoors? There’s also an oversized gas barbecue grill on the deck with a table to enjoy a dinner or drinks with the ultimate view.
But wait, there’s more!
While the thought of you spending a single minute attending to business makes us want to rescue you, we recognize that communications continuity is sometimes a necessity, even while in Paradise. We offer and unlimited high-speed internet access (wired in one upstairs bedroom, wireless throughout the house).
An extensive professional landscape surrounds the home, with 10,000 square feet of luxurious sod to take that nap while listening to the river. A regulation horseshoe pit provides old-time fun while you take in the views.
We know the little things can really make a difference...so, there's a cooler and daypack for your excursions, a popcorn popper for staying in, simple games and toys for the little ones, and books to read--from fiction to local area lore and guides, to literature.
Walk right down to the river to fish... some of the best fishing on the Yellowstone is right from this home (JT has personally caught 15 trout in an hour here).
Yellowstone National Park is only a 30-minute drive away, short enough for day trips, so you can enjoy your home away from home every evening... it stays light until 10:00pm here in the summer!
Located five miles from world-famous Chico Hot Springs with live music every weekend and the best restaurant in all of Montana. Head 15 miles into historic Livingston with art galleries and restaurants galore. Plenty of skiing is within reach: Big Sky is 70 minutes away, and Bridger Bowl is only 50.
Please note there is currently a hot tub…but there is no guarantee there will be a hot tub during your stay. Once the current hot tub is not able to be repaired at a reasonable cost, we will no longer offer a hot tub at this home.

This worked very well for a total of 3 couples staying here for our daughter's wedding which took place about 9 miles up the road at Sage Lodge. One of us has limited mobility. It is flat from the driveway to the front door which leads to the main floor so that was convenient. We spent almost all the indoor time on the main floor where there is a living room with comfortable seating and a gorgeous view of the valley, river, and mountains. There are 3 bedrooms on this level; the master bedroom has a large bathroom with an oversized tub. The kitchen on this level is well supplied but we didn't cook much. There is a hot tub outside.
I suggest bringing binoculars. There was always some wildlife to see from the porch; osprey, sandhill crane, deer. The porch is shielded from the afternoon sun so it was comfortable even on the hot days. In the morning it was a great place to watch to sun rise over the mountain ridge. The access to the river is indirect and seemed about a 0.3 mile or so walk. Everything worked well for our crowd with a mean age in the late 60s. Temperatures outside varied from 38 in the morning to close to 90.

What an absolute slice of heaven! You'll love this property the moment you drive up--in fact, we headed straight out the back door to take in the backdrop of mountains and the Yellowstone river just yards away. Inside is spacious with plenty to do when you need some downtime from exploring Livingston and YNP. Plenty of kitchen utensil and spices made grilling out something to look forward to several nights of our stay. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner who gave us great recommendations for fishing and choosing a guide and we loved it. Location is great, amenities are great and we loved there is not a huge list of check out requirements before leaving, making morning departure easy and stress free.

This home had everything we needed and more. Views from the photos do not give this place enough credit!

The home was clean and the beds comfortable. There is no AC but we slept good with the windows open and we were gone most of the day sight seeing. The view was amazing and we enjoyed sitting on the back deck with the bees watching the rafts floating down the river. We wanted do some fishing that is why we chose a house with river access. The river access was not easy at all! It is about 300 yards from the house. You have to walk around the neighbors locked gate, down a hill and then through another neighbors fence and walk through the field to get to the river. If you’re not in good shape it is a difficult journey. The area had a lot to offer and Yellowstone National Park was absolutely amazing! We appreciate the owner for making his home so comfortable.

Location, scenery were outstanding. Kitchen towels were dirty, killed over a dozen moths, kitchen pots, and pans were greasy, dirty and some unusable. Outside grill rusty. Windows screens didn’t fit windows. Some lights didn’t work. Kitchen cabinets would not close allowing moths to breed.

Gorgeous views, great yard, very relaxing and peaceful
After spending 4 nights backcountry camping in Wyoming, we arrived to this Montana retreat and what an absolutely wonderful place! I still look at my photos from the porch and feel transported to a very special place. The views and outdoor space are even better than the photos suggest. The mountains, the winding Yellowstone river out the back door, and the perfectly manicured grass were all huge hits for our family. It felt very private while at the same time waving to rafters and paddleboarders making their way down the river. In the evening, we loved walking down to the river to a nice sandy shore and watching sunset light hit the mountain vista. We can't wait to come back - so many hikes to do and not enough time to cover them in 3 days. Also, definitely give rafting on the yellowstone a try at Rubber Ducky rentals - our whole family loved it! The only con, and it's not really a con, just something to know about is that check out is at 10am and check-in is at 5pm which, logistically, makes arrival and departure more challenging than at other VRBOs and means that first day at the house is more of a dinner and a night then an actual day. We had forgotten about the late check-in time and chose to go do our grocery shopping until the house was ready.

Peaceful, everything we needed and absolutely fantastic views
Green Acres Lodge was the perfect place for us to refresh and recharge during our visit to Yellowstone. Thoughtfully stocked with renters in mind and the most incredible views off the back deck. The pictures on VRBO can’t capture the splendor of the setting of this rental.

An Amazing Stay! Would recommend!
Our stay was perfectly clean, and quiet. The River runs right next door and is great for fishing. Just enough good eating places around the area, and the cute town Livingston. Great hiking places and a Horse Back riding trails near. Yellow Stone National park and hour away. Hot Tub was amazing, and the house was comfortable and cozy. Not enough to do everything, definitely would recommend and are coming back soon!

Everything and More
The property, land and home, were spectacular! Inside and out, totally manicured and serene. JT is a good man, who cares about his property and guests, no doubt, and made sure to let us know he would assist if a problem arose. This is the first review I have ever completed for any reason, positive or negative, but this experience was so perfect and the home so lovely that I had to give it, and JT, well deserved props!!

Anniversary Trip
My wife and I were looking for someplace peaceful to celebrate our 16 year anniversary. We found it this house was nestled along the river just below the mountain range which made for amazing views and a lot of peace and quiet. We had a great time in Livingston too, very nice little town.

It Doesn’t Get Any Better!
We stayed 4 nights at Green Acres Lodge and wished we had another week. The surrounding area is gorgeous as is the house. It has every amenity you could need, from high speed internet access, a fully stocked spice rack (more than one could ever need), a hot tub, pool table, darts, horse shoes, AC, washer and dryer, and access to the beautiful Yellowstone river.
JT was a very hospitable host and maintained an amazing property. We will be back and tell all of our friends about it!

Truly Paradise
JT was a fantastic host. He checked in with us often to see if we needed anything throughout the week.
The home had everything we could need for a fun week. Kitchen clean & well stocked. King bed quite comfy, & master bathroom spacious. Living room with large TV, fireplace, & comfy couches. Views from home were spectacular !! Short walk to Yellowstone River. We sat by the river daily to bird watch & saw a many beautiful birds & a bald eagle. Lots of privacy & quiet.
Thank you JT for sharing your wonderful home.

A little slice of Montana Heaven
We had an amazing stay at JT's rental. The house was fully equipped with all the essential needs anyone could want! The kitchen spices are fully stocked! The property was so beautiful and relaxing. And who could not love Betty, the Goldendoodle who would come and visit us everyday!! We went to Yellowstone everyday, with the exception of one day where we ventured off to the Lewis & Clark Caverns, which I would highly recommend! We looked forward to coming back to the house every evening to relax by the fire and enjoy watching the deer run through the field in the front! Thank you JT for making our vacation stay at your rental a very memorable experience!

Perfect location for the whole family.
JT's home was absolutely perfect for our multi-generational family vacation. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with every cooking utensil you could want and plenty of pantry items. The house was very clean and had plenty of things to do on our "down" days, from pool/darts to games/cards to just sitting on the deck watching the river. The views and daily visits from the wildlife were incredible. We had one hiccup the first night and JT handled it immediately even though it was late. The only thing that could be a slight negative is the distance/access to the river and it's not a negative towards the property itself however if you have a disability or are elderly and cannot walk a longer distance then the river isn't easily accessible. We did find public fishing that was easily accessible very close by though. Overall we all fully enjoyed staying in this gem right in Paradise Valley and would recommend it to everyone.

Paradise Cabin in the Paradise Valley
WOW what a great place to stay!! We couldn't have been happier. The Hot tub overlooking the valley, River, Mountains was perfect. We really didnt want for anything. Deer grazing each day in the front yard and bald eagles souring overhead. Fished the River and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Plenty of room and clean as a whistle. Good access to plenty of fishing spots. I would recommend it very highly! JT is the consumate host....truly!
