But you'll also be within walking distance of Richie's Supermarket for home essentials, Go Fish Belize for charter fishing trips, and restaurants like Palapa Bar and Grill, Fido's, and El Fogon for delicious dining out.

Mix a chilled cocktail and relax into plush seating in the living area, where you'll also find a cable-equipped flatscreen TV for hours of entertainment when it's best to stay indoors. It's very easy to stay here. It's less than a mile north of the bridge from San Pedro, and there is security up front that keeps track of people coming and going. This particular condo is one of my favorites because you get a nice view of both the lagoon side and the Caribbean side. It's beautiful. They light the grounds up at night, which looks cozy. They also have a really nice pool with a ledge that is less than 12" deep, perfect for little kids to play safely. The people here are fantastic.

Our concierge was on top of every thing … the rental, repairs as needed, excursions, flight tickets & golf cart rental (top notch with Deluxe). The photos from Vrbo were somewhat outdated, but the place was pleasant. The cookware was a disappointment but everything else’s was OK or better. I was super happy to be on the top floor! We had a great view of the sea and both sunrises & sunsets. The crocs in the laguna were a major source of enjoyment.

This condo is in a nice quiet neighborhood. It is within walking distance to a coffee shop, grocery store and other restaurants. The staff are very friendly!

Our stay offered all of the convenience we needed for our long vacation. Simple grocery for cooking in the full kitchen and cafe vibes within walking distance. Pool access when we wanted to stay closer to home. Lots of options for restaurants just a few minutes drive away. During the hot days having AC was a welcome reprieve. Lourdes provided great recommendations for local activities and made coordination for our arrangements seamless overall. For folks looking to enjoy some picture perfect sunrises and sunsets, this is a great place to post up in San Pedro.

I would like to say, I loved this place but I can’t. First, for the money Vacasa charges the home owner, this place was not ready to rent. To start, open electrical outlet boxes. (Wiring exposed)Towel rods missing. Peeling paint, doors that do not shut without binding on the floor. Doors to the outside that do not close, allowing noise from the busy street to enter. Finally, as I was trying to finalize our trip, I needed to contact Vacasa for the gold standard certificate and the itinerary that is required with each person name. The Vacasa web site showed two number, both not working. It took me knowing someone on ambergris key to contact Vacasa to return my call. I will say the security team and front gate team where awesome and fun.

Lovely large condo. Two large bedrooms and bathrooms, and most of what one needs to prepare meals; though restaurants are easy access by golf cart. The lagoon side of the resort is very pretty. The sea view unfortunately is not as beautiful. Construction of buildings and the road was a bit of a drawback. That said - the evenings are pretty peaceful. And Belize is darn special. The folks at Vacasa are very responsive and extremely helpful

Ms. Lourdes helped us with all of our accommodations she set up our golf cart for us. She also made our reservations from the mainland to San Pedro. She was awesome anything we needed for the room she took care of it. Awesome experience we will be back again. Thank you for taking care of us.

Lourdes was a fabulous concierge for the property, and we appreciated all her help and suggestions. The suite was clean and well stocked with linens, cooking utensils, etc, with a large patio. The pool on the property was fabulous, and everyone was so kind and helpful. Would definitely suggest anyone to stay at Mara Laguna when staying in San Pedro!

Stayed at this beautiful space for a couple weeks and loved it! The views of the ocean were great as we had a balcony to walk out to and enjoy. There was a great cafe and market near by which really helped as it was walking distance and had everything you needed. What made our stay more enjoyable was having an amazing concierge, Lourdes. Lourdes is amazing and very knowledge of the island and provided great recommendations while providing exceptional customer service! We will definitely stay at Vacasa when we visit Belize again. :) Thank you!

I loved being in an end unit o the third floor! I watched the sun come up over the Caribbean every morning and was able to look out onto San Pedro Lagoon and view the Villa I just purchased! Next trip I will stay there. Vacasa provided help any time I needed it. A wonderful stay!!

Overall the unit was good. Checking in was a breeze. Beds were very comfortable. Location was great. Our only issues were that we only had 2 hot showers the whole stay. Our washer and dryer was tore apart and inoperable (it was by the front door. An eyesore). The paint in the master bathroom was peeling badly. No closets to hang close

Unit needs a refresh. Showers were poor - water cold to tepid, not clean enough, dripped, and low pressure. Paint peeling in places. Outdoor odors from both sides. Construction going on across street. Appliances were high quality. Construction solid.

The condo was adequate for our needs. Could use a few more towels and drinking glasses. The furnishings were nice and comfortable. Beautiful view from the patio. Be aware this unit is on the 3rd floor. The steps will be a problem for anyone like me with mobility issues. I guess I should have surmised that from the pictures but I didn't. For most people, they will like the 3rd floor as it offers the best views of the water. Our concierge, Veronique, was very helpful and responded quickly to our requests.

Except for the first day, the weather was beautiful. Very pleasant temperatures. The ocean was a brilliant turquoise color. The condo served our needs well. Enjoyed our day at the Secret Beach and another day of snorkeling. Veronique was very quick to respond to our requests and did a great job of setting up our use of a golf cart and our snorkeling trip as well as arranging our flight back to Belize city. She gets 5 stars from us!
