Great location, well appointed, clean. Perfect place to stay when skiing Palisades or Alpine.

We stayed here with our newborn and it was the perfect space for a ski weekend - super close to palisades and had all the amenities. Would be a great place to stay with a family! Would love to stay again with a bigger group!

Other than the lockbox not working, which we got sorted, it was a great stay. Team was helpful in getting us in.
Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay at the Taverns in Unit 101

This property is a typical unremodeled Tahoe Tavern condo. It's in Tahoe Tavern which is the most convenient location in Tahoe City or the West Shore. But it's close to the main road which makes it noisy.
The unit is fine but again it hasn't been remodeled. But there were lots of beds for everyone and the grounds in Tahoe Tavern are great.
If you can get an inexpensive price, it works. But I wouldn't pay a premium to stay in this unit.
I will say the management was very responsive to challenges which I appreciated.

We rented this condo over President's week. It is in the perfect location for everything. It was only 10 minutes to the mountain and right at the Lake. Unit was clean and comfortable. Our only issue is that there is no cell service near the unit so when we got there, we tried to pull up the instructions but then could not. Screenshot or download them ahead of time!

It was a nice place, no issues. Had a few questions and management got back to me as appropriate. I would do it again.

We had a wonderful stay in Tahoe Taverns and this property has a perfect location. It's close to the entrance and minutes from Tahoe City and close to local resorts. The management company was extremely responsive and helpful when we had some questions about the heating and how to turn on the water. It was a perfect size for teens and family and convenient.

The location is amazing but 2 of the beds were broken, which caused uncomfortable sleeping situations for some people.
There were two different alarms/ beeping going off in the middle of the night. We cut our trip short one night because of all of this.

Charming townhouse with nice treetop outlooks. We enjoyed the deck off the living room and proximity to town. Also the pool overlooking the lake is wonderful. The downstairs bedrooms suffer from some road noise. Management was very responsive.

Disappointed
The unit was superficially clean, but after being in the unit a short while, we found that the floors were filthy (our feet turned black with dirt in 15 minutes) and we had to mop the floors and clean the unit. The vacuum didn't work, the baby gate was in poor shape and broke, a shade was missing in the family room, and the oven wasn't anchored and ended up falling on our 1 year old grandson (fortunately he was not seriously injured.). Bottom line is this is not a unit I would want to stay in again.

We had a wonderful family vacation! Perfect for all of us! We look forward to coming back again!
The condo fit our family needs perfectly. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed and very comfortable. Also very suitable for young children. It is centrally located and the children loved riding their bikes safely on the bike trails, going in the heated pool, and playing on the river and lake. Lovely stay! Host was quick to respond and easy to reach. We had a great time! We look forward to returning again soon! Thank you!

Wonderful Vacation Place!
I've been coming to Tahoe Tavern since I was a kid, and unit 101 did not disappoint. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The check in couldn't have been easier. The community has a private pool and pier out to the lake. Would definitely recommend!

Great condo for a small group of friends
We stayed in July with a total of 7 adult men and had plenty of room. Grill was serviceable and had plenty of propane. Access and parking was not nothing, but gate attendants were friendly and not super strict. Parking worked fine, and overflow was .5 miles away if needed for 3rd car. Walkable (.5 miles) to bridge/bridgetender area.

Love Tahoe Tavern!
So we are big time and long term Summer and Winter Tahoe Fans and had not been to Tahoe Tavern for over 30 years, so we took our two young adult kids (18) and their Friends and spent 10 days. The unit was Tahoe Rustic and great for us, plenty of space with a nice deck off the back. Tahoe Tavern is wonderful as it is guarded and thus super private with lots of wonderful lake tahoe beachfront, a pool with views of the lake and a fun long Pier to walk out on and swim off of. Also Tahoe Tavern is close to lots of our favorite restaurants and the Truckee River. The negatives were the contact people were initially not very responsive nor helpful when we were trying to figure out the properties Covid status, to the point where we almost cancelled, but they got better as time went on. Also the property is right on the road and thus you get lots of road noise, next time we go, we will try and get a unit closet to the lake.

Overall great with a couple suggestions
Location was exactly what we were looking for - west side, walk to lake without crossing streets, walking distance to Tahoe City, easy access. Also, the check-in and check-out process could not be easier. I may have overlooked this in the posting, but I hoped/expected it to be a bit closer to the lake and/or have a line of sight to the lake. There is not a view, and it is a 5 minute walk to the lake, but you do not need to cross a street - just stroll through the grounds. There was only one broken cutting board (that I could find), so the unit needs a couple new ones. The unit is in very good working order and is very clean, but the unit and furniture are dated, and for the price, I was hoping for/expecting something more up to date. We were there during a bit of a heat wave, so having more than the one ceiling fan would have been nice. Overall, it worked out very well for us, and we were happy - these are just a couple tips to make it even better.

Great ski weekend rental!
The property had plenty of room and beds for the group of 6 of us staying for a long weekend of spring skiing. The location was very convenient for getting to squaw and alpine. Tahoe city was a great place to grab some dinner on the lakefront too!

Perfect getaway!
This was a perfect getaway spot for my husband & I and our daughter and 2 friends, seniors in high school ready to get to the snow as we were. Super clean, great layout, had everything we needed and space for all. Close to town and we skid at Homewood so convenient all the way around. Everyone was able to zoom for class and meetings as needed! Property manager was super responsive and check in/check out was a breeze. Would highly recommend, we hope to return.

Ski getaway
Very spacious well located property. Clean and has everything you could need in the kitchen. Only drawback was finding the unit. We checked in after dark and the complex is very large and is not lit at all. A map of the complex would be very helpful.

Tahoe Taverns
This was a great place at Tahoe Taverns for a large family group. No view of the lake from the condo, but nice view of redwoods and lake is a short walk away. It was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Oven is smaller, one oven and an electric range. Property manager was very responsive. We were there for Thanksgiving. Really enjoyed our stay!

Very comfortable and great location!
We booked this condo for a long weekend and it was really delightful. The layout was very practical with an open floor plan, and very spacious and comfortable bedrooms. The location is wonderful and it is just a few minute walk to the private beach on the lake. It is a very short walk/bike to Tahoe city and there is a wonderful bakery and grocery store across the street.

Great place for family vacation
The condo worked out really well for our family (2 teens and a 9-year old). Plenty of beds to choose from and well-stocked kitchen appliances. The location is perfect, and property managers were very helpful ahead of the trip and assured us of the cleaning procedures in place to ensure our safety! We would definitely stay here again.

Summer in Tahoe
We really enjoyed our week at Tahoe Tavern. The unit is clean and a great location. A short walk to the lake and amazing pier. We loved how you can walk to Tahoe City without going on the main road. Very relaxing stay with lots to do for the whole family.

Great place close to tahoe city
We stayed here with 2 families and really enjoyed it. The location is fabulous with a short walk to town. Plus the association has a brand new pier that is quite an asset. The condo is very well appointed with everything you need in the kitchen and plenty of bedding. Can definitely recommend this unit.

Perfect location and home. Perfect for a large family.
Tahoe Taverns has everything for us and our grandchildren, ages 6-16. There's no need to use a car once you arrive. The property is on the lake side, so no concern about crossing the highway,. There's a pool, pier, and tennis courts and it's very walkable to town, including the grocery store. Great location.

Great place in Tahoe Taverns
Tahoe Taverns is one of the best places to stay in North Lake and this condo is spacious and has everything you need. We only had our family but could have easily had another family join us and still had plenty of room.

Convenient, comfortable, spacious
We loved our stay in unit #101!! The condo was fully stocked, beds were comfy, and there was plenty of room. Tahoe Taverns is idyllic -- lovely lake views, close to everything. We were out and about every day for adventures in Tahoe and loved returning to recover in the condo. Thank you!
