About this cabin rental

THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE*This home is located in a quiet neighborhood with local neighbors on either side. Noise travels easily and echoes from the hot tub deck. The short term rental ordinance must be followed by all guests. No music or hanging out outside is allowed after 9pm, and all cars must fit in the garage or driveway (3 cars max, this is strict). Please help us keep this home a short term rental by only booking if you can follow these rules. Thank you*

Enjoy the best Tahoe City has to offer with this unique vacation rental Artist's Haven. This custom home has been recently remodeled and is a true delight. This home features French subway art, in addition to original watercolors and travel photography by the Owner of the home and well known SF artist, Noel Stubblefield. Prints of the artwork are available for purchase if you see a must-have...just ask!

Enter the home into the dramatic foyer. Multiple textures and imagery create a visual masterpiece. Stone flooring and high vaulted ceilings lead to the main bedroom floor.

The ground level floor offers three plush carpet-floored bedrooms and two baths. The layout follows:

-Bedroom #1-African themed Bunk room w/queen under twin bunk plus 1 additional twin
-En suite bath with double sink vanity and stand up shower
-Bedroom #2-Spring themed queen bedroom
-Bedroom #3-Vintage themed queen bedroom
-Shared bath w/stand up shower

Journey up the hardwood stairs from the foyer to the main living space. Amenities include a large stone hearth framing a wood fireplace, extra-large L shaped couch, one of a kind stainless steel and Lake Tahoe teal granite countertops, and original large scale subway art over the cabinets. A front, back, and lower deck w/ a hot tub, top of the line electronics and appliances, 1/2 bath with the coolest silver stone wallpaper and STUNNING finish work and lighting round out this outstanding main living space.

Venture up a few steps to the master suite. Appointed with a king bed, en suite master bath with generous glass and stone shower, and separate reading area.

There is no AC in Tahoe. To keep the property cool, open the windows and sliders at night to let cool air in, then close the windows, doors and blinds when you leave for the day.

Positives: Roomy comfortable house close to Squaw/Pallisades and Northstar with 4 bedrooms, a well equipped modern kitchen, a comfortable great room with TV and fireplace, and a large hot tub. Negatives: all available firewood had been burned before our arrival in early February. Overall, perfect for a group of 5 friends.

5 Star property with one caveat

This is a wonderfully livable home. Our party of six spent three nights here, and were generally delighted! The only caveat is that we were told that, as short-term renters, we were not entitled to use the beach, tennis, etc. target actually confiscated out short-term rental ID! The owners need to take these percs out of the description of the property! With that said, we would stay again in a heart beat.

Our stay was absolutely lovely. We came inside and quiet Jazz music was playing from the TV and the house was pristinely cleaned - always a good sign! Recommend staying here for the wonderful amenities and location to Tahoe City and Kings Beach - just a short drive from Incline Village as well.

First time coming to Lake Tahoe, and this property was in the perfect location. Private access beach just down the street, amazing amenities in the kitchen- especially for those chefs out there. The residence had some bikes, plenty of firewood for the fireplace, and a jacuzzi that easily fit us. Highly recommend!!

Great location, access to private beach, but only 8 people are allowed to go currently. House was clean although cobwebs were everywhere due to high ceilings. Master bedroom was very hot and house does not have AC like other homes in area. WiFi was not working and required several restarts. If you have toddlers beware of several stairs. Not very kid friendly. Overall clean and patio was very enjoyable.

Amazing cabin for a big group!

We were a group of 9 and loved our time in the cabin! There are sufficient beds / bed spaces to fit 10 people depending on group configuration with sufficient bathrooms (with heated floors!) to go around. The beds were all very comfy and had heavy duvets which were great given the cold weather. We particularly loved the large living and dining room areas where we spent alot of time hanging out and cooking and playing music. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked with every kind of utensil/pot/pan that we ended up requiring and also had lots of basic ingredients like salt, oil, herbs etc. There is also a very easy to use BBQ grill on the deck that we made use of for yummy meals every night. Must also mention the hot tub which we had a great time chilling in after a day of skiing! The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful and is a 5 min drive from the nearest supermarket (Safeway), which is very large and had all we needed in terms of groceries. Wifi worked well - we all had to work at some point during our stay and were able to connect and work as usual. Holly (the manager) was also very responsive whenever we had questions about the property. Would return if we came back to Tahoe again!

This property was everything the listing claimed it was. It was very clean, extremely well stocked, and in a great location. It was approximately 5 minutes from grocery stores, 10 minutes from Squaw Valley, and very close to restaurants. Family had an amazing time and are looking forward to going back.

This home is nothing short of amazing. Every detail is so well thought out, it makes your stay feel more like a home away from home. All 8 of us felt extremely comfortable with the heated floors, extra comfortable beds/pillows and enormous couch that was big enough to allow all of us to spread out comfortably. There was plenty of firewood for those cold snowy nights as well. The kitchen had everything you would want out of your own. It even had a pizza stone and a wine cooler! There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms which means privacy is not an issue... I could go on and on... I highly recommend this home as your next Tahoe rental!

We stayed for a long weekend in November. Easily fit 9 of us (family of 5, family of 4). Nice modern amenities, WiFi, Hulu/Netflix and a huge comfy couch in front of the fire. We didn’t have snow but enjoyed the town, walked by the lake, sat by the fire, binge watched Netflix and soaked in the hot tub. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would stay again.

A truly wonderful vacation home. The Living room and Kitchen together with the Art Work make for a great living experience. The home is well furnished. The bathrooms are great, especially the master bathroom. Carpets in bedrooms need some cleaning to remove stains.
