The location was great, right across the street from the beach and close to restaurants and things we liked to do. The condo could definitely use some upgrades. The key lock on the door was old. The lock box cover fell off. Stains on the carpet. The screen door kept getting stuck making it hard to close. The bathroom was right out of the 1970’s. The toilet was the shortest one I’ve seen for years. There was no non-slip mat in the shower which I thought was an accident waiting to happen. The bed was very comfortable which was nice. Everything was in good condition but it just needs some updating.

Well equipped, quiet unit. Had everything we needed, and extras we didn't expect. Very comfortable mattress, but needs new sheets that will actually stay on. Making the reservation, accessing the unit, and checking out was a breeze. Loved reading by the pool and relaxing on the lanai. Would definitely stay there again!

It was great. Very nicely decorated. They were well stocked for just about any issue..We Experienced several nights of heavy rain which flooded The parking lot but was fine by morning. The only issue for us was that parking was in the back of the unit , so We had to carry things pretty far. Not a big issue but we are in our 70's

We really enjoyed our stay. Very convenient to other parts of the island. And loved that we could walk across the street to a very nice and secluded beach.
Although window units kept the entire unit cool and comfortable, they did not help manage dampness (maybe filters could be changed more frequently?). Noticed the difference in both our congestion/stuffiness for the 2 days we spent in a unit on the Big Island.

Aloha! Overall our stay at Kihei has some pros and cons that made me give a 3star rating here. Home has a very nice location, well stocked home with beach equipment and kitchen supplies all set well; it also had good enough laundry and cleaning supplies. Also to mention before and after reaching Kihei the staff was very communicative and prompt in making sure we made it to the rental. Some downsides are apartment needs updates really bad; door locks, carpets dirty, bed is sagging and very old, bed sheets had stains, bathroom was not very clean, couch was old and rough.. we had to do a laundry before using the bed and had to put a sheet on the couch before using it! A/C on bedroom is very noisy and had to pretty much wipe down everything before we used it. TV did not work for the time that we were in the rental and there is a serious need for updates and rental condition does not look like what was advertised. Kihei however was a great location, people are very friendly. Mahalo!

Overall, the condo was nice. The location was right across the street from the Humpback Whale sanctuary with a lagoon that has turtles. The kitchen was well-appointed. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and found that, unlike other condo communities where we have stayed in Kihei, these were not crowded. Our only comments are that the carpet has some staining and the furniture is a bit dated.

This is a cute, one bedroom condo across the street from a very small beach. It does have a very cool cove that sea turtles come into in the evening. The only thing I did not like about this condo is the very small bathroom. It was difficult to move around in the tub toilet area. Other than that it was convenient to restaurants, shops, and other things to do. We did enjoy our time there.

Both me and my wife felt it was really our home away from home. The place was clean and stocked up with the essentials pretty well. We would definitely come back to this place. I just have one suggestion though. A little uprgade on the furnitures. Having a smart TV would be a start.

The unit was clean and had everything we could have asked for. The beach chairs and coolers were such a bonus!We ate our breakfasts at the condo and made lunch to bring in the cooler everyday and ate dinners out. The location was wonderful and we loved to walk on the beach close by in the mornings. We would swim at the pool every evening as well. Everything was wonderful. It was the perfect 20th wedding anniversary stay. Thank you for giving us the perfect place to stay. We got home just before the fires started and send our love to everyone on the island who was affected. It was heartbreaking to see the news when we had just visited all of those places. Maui will always have a very special place in our hearts.

This apartment was perfect for us. The location is ideal if you want a quiet, chilled holiday - I would say you definitely need a car as most things are over a 30 minute walk away. You can see the sea from the balcony, there’s a quiet little beach directly across the road. The apartment has everything you could need - washer/dryer, coolers, camp chairs, loads of closet space, huge bed, two TVs, and access to a pool & hot tub. I would stay here again for sure, we had a blast.

We stayed at Bay Vista because we like the property and general location. The specific unit was chosen because we wanted a ground floor and to save on fees by using Maui Rentals. The unit is dated, things broken, and not spotless, but we put up with it for the location. The parking lot flooding was not under the control of the owner or Mgnt co. To avoid flooding don’t visit in winter months or stay away from North Kihei.

We stayed in unit A103 from November 17th till December 19th, 2022, we had stayed in this same unit in January 2020 and it was fine, but the unit has gone downhill, we found mold on the bathroom shower curtain, and on the bath mat in the tub, the bathroom vanity has one door just hanging and will not close, the outdoor furniture is metal and is rusty to the point I cut my arm, the broadloom in the condo is very badly stained, the living room furniture is old and tired a good shampoo might help, my wife had to clean all the pots and pans as they were left very dirty, the kitchen has been redone is nice, the bedroom in the ad says King but is a Queen, the ad did say no air in bedroom HOT HOT the suns hits the bedroom all day even with the blinds closed by bedtime its like 85 degrees they supplied 3 fans and you need all them going 24 hrs a day. We took pictures of all the issues and went to show Rentals Maui what the condo is really like, they were very responsive to our issues and did give us some compensation, We have used Rental Maui for our last 4 visits and I would use them for our next trip but I would never stay A103 again. Kihei Bay Vista is a nice clean complex not large has a great pool and spar tub, the grounds are kept in tip-top shape, very clean BBQ, and parking is good, best part is right across the street to the beach. close to everything, we used Kihei Rent a Car older reliable cars had one for a month was all over the island with no problems and great local people to deal with and good savings compared to airport rentals.

This is a good property for a one week stay. It is not set up for additional days or weeks. Housekeeping is needed for a longer stay. Information about property needs to be updated and should be seen by office reservation staff so they are more knowledgeable and correct when questions arise. Example: I was given a code for the pool bathroom and code for garbage. Pool does not have a bathroom and garbage is a dumpster. Maintenance staff was excellent and greatly appreciated for the promptness when a problem arose.

This condominium had all of the extras ready for our convenience. There were beach chairs, umbrellas, Ice chests, kitchenware, laundry soap, and MORE! The view was gorgeous. The grounds were well maintained. And we could even see the ocean from our lanai. Everything was very clean, and extremely well organized.
