Lovely, large home with fabulous view. Great hostess. Very well-organized. You won't want to leave, although you must, because there is so much to do nearby.

View beautiful, we saw porpoise and bald eagles. Plenty of room. King bed comfortable. Nice to have and use were Kayaks, Binoculars, BBQ with gas provided. Cliff drop was no problem for children 5-14. Family enjoyed looking for clams at low tide, delicious. Parks nearby were fun. I chose this property for my chef husband and we ate all our meals from this home.
Not so good: Stairs missing and Narrow slippery path of leaf litter to rocky beach (water shoes needs). No griddle or grill available on Viking stove disappointing as I chose for chef. Twin bed’s uncomfortable. Wi-Fi slow, TV use was minimal as we could not use the many DVD for lack of instructions. Three controls, one had no batteries, confusing.

...and great house that is spacious and well appointed. Lots of windows with stunning views from a property that is rural but not isolated. A thick grove of cedar and fir screen a casually groomed meadow that fronts the entry to the house. We often saw deer grazing on either side of the long one lane drive. There is a marvelous sense of privacy to the area even with the close fitted neighbors that were very unintrusive. It was a lovely stay in a home that we highly recommend.

This was our second time staying at this amazing home! It has plenty of room to cook, eat and hang out. we were here for thanksgiving, so lots of moving parts, and it was beyond comfortable. The views are breathtaking and kept us wanting to be outdoors. We will return!

This home was well maintained, stocked, and organized, and very clean. It is a large home with a nice kitchen, outdoor areas, and common areas. Our group really enjoyed the access to nearby great trails (trailhead at Warm Beach Conference Center) and the water, kayaks and life vests included! Sandy was a good communicator and available for any issues or questions.

Great property, amazing views, easy access to destinations in Seattle and all the way north of Vancouver. Plenty of space for our family to relax, especially watching the sunsets and the stars at night.

You Won't Want to Leave
This property is absolutely amazing. The views alone are incredible. The house is very accommodating and Sandy is very responsive although we had no real issues or questions. The location is great with easy access exploring north towards Bellingham and also over to Camano and Whidbey Island. We spent every evening enjoying the back porch and yard which sits on a high bluff and provides awesome views of the water and Olympic Mountains. We were certainly sad to leave this wonderful place and will hopefully have a chance to rent from Sandy again.

Great views and peace and quiet from the bluff
The house is very large and expansive, suitable for an extended family like ours. The location, atop a bluff overlooking the water, is spectacular. Being able to eat outdoors while enjoying sunsets made for great family dinners.
The house is well appointed with top-of-the-line, although not new, appliances. Its open layout allowed all of us to spread out in a relaxing atmosphere. The beds are comfy and have cushy pillows, something we all appreciated.
Kayaks are available by descending stairs to the beach below the bluff. The stairs are incredibly steep and somewhat rickety – not for kids or adults with physical challenges. (I managed to get my wife to descend them only once.) The kayaks and paddles have seen better days, but we were able to take them out and enjoy close-ups of salmon jumping out of the water. We missed it, but some folks along the beach said they saw an orca.
The lawn overlooking the water has a steep dropoff, something to be aware of if you have little kids who wander. There's no barrier along the edge of the lawn.
Along the driveway leading to the house, we found lots of blackberry vines with sweet, ripe berries, which we picked and used to make blackberry crumble for dessert. We also ventured up the road to pick additional berries roadside.
The area is amazingly quiet, which made for a tranquil setting. When we were there, we encountered few other folks, aside from the next-door neighbor on the south side who was friendly and helpful. Also, we appreciated the host (Sandy) meeting us when we arrived.
We had a great time!

Spectacular view
Had a nice stay here for a quick family reunion. Stunning views across the water with great sunsets, well-equipped kitchen, nice patio and large communal spaces. Could use some more furniture in the living room to make it a more comfortable hang-out area for big groups. Also, the hot tub is a bathtub with jets, not an outdoor hot tub as we imagined, and the yard is not really suitable for groups with young children as there is a huge bluff with no barriers or even signage alerting you of the sudden drop-off.

Warm and quiet.
We spent a week here in August. The house yard and beach were all very pleasant. The area is very quiet, and even though there are neighbors, it feels secluded and spacious. The west facing high bluff view provides ample light at this time of the year with sunlight to 9:00. The house fills with light until this time.

Awesome stay!
The property was everything we had hoped for. We were in town for a reunion trip for a group of high school friends and Sandy’s house comfortably housed all six of us. Terrific time. Couldn’t recommenced it more highly!

the property was very nice, roomy, and well equipt. Owner easy to access and talk to. I was quite surprised by how far down the beach was, best for the young and harty. All and all a very pleasant stay. Would stay again

Stanwood Beach House
This property was great and all 7 of us really enjoyed our stay and the amazing views. The living area was wide open and spacious and the kitchen was well stocked and had pretty much everything we needed to cook meals. The three bathrooms worked great for our large group but beware there is a strong smell of sulfur that comes with the master bathroom that’s a bit overwhelming when you shower. The house is on a septic system so this can happen sometimes but it was unexpected and didn’t make for the most relaxing shower. The last little thing to mention is that although the description of the house states that you can have up to 9 guests stay, you are charged an extra $25 a day for any guest over 6. This was a bit of a surprise when I looked through our charges. Overall, the house is very roomy and worked great for our large party. Sandy was very attentive and easy to work with.

Perfect holiday
My family spent seven glorious days on this property. I don't know if we enjoyed the whale watching, grilled dinners on the patio (every night), relaxing by the open hearth or the absolute peace and tranquility of this property. It was exceptional.
The house was fully stocked, clean and bright. Very liveable and comfy. We enjoyed a family Easter dinner together as well as day trips to Vancouver (close!), visits to the tulip fields in the area, and watching the sun set on the ocean as we sat out on the back deck.
Highly recommended for larger groups (more than 2), and those who appreciate nature and living space.

Lovely cliff side house
We really loved our stay here.
Giant wonderful house, very clean and fun for our families to spread out in.
Kitchen was well enough stocked (and huge!) for us to make big meals and have plenty of room for all of us to cook together.
We enjoyed the exercise we got going up and down the 146 steps to the beach and found it to be fine for the healthy people in our group.
Hot tub was delightful. Beach time was fun. We loved seeing seals and eagles close up.
Sandy was easy to work with and responsive to texts when needed.
My only complaint would be that several of the beds were too soft for my comfort, but we were quite happy anyway :)
Thank you, Sandy, for a wonderful stay!
We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Very Comfortable! Incredible View! Great Experience!
This house had everything we needed and then some. It was a pleasure to stay there while watching the eagles sore back and forth. The low tides, was an extra surprise.
Easy Kitchen to work in. Bath towels and linens felt new! Dinning table large enough to hold our crowd. Out door seating, umbrellas, hot tub under the stars, manicured lawn, AC, privacy...etc.
Sandy was very kind and offered to help in anyway during our stay. Couldn't have asked for better service!!! Thank you! Jane

Clean, spacious, beautiful view
We had a great 4 nights at this property. The house was clean, spacious and exactly as advertised. The backyard view was amazing and we were able to see sunsets every night. The owners were very nice and easy to work with. When we arrived, they made sure everything was working properly and even brought us their personal dvd when the one one site did not work. The kitchen is well labeled and they have everything you need. The bedrooms were clean, check-out was straight-forward. The house was great!

Great Family Time at Warm Beach
We had a wonderful week with family at this spacious and very private house overlooking lovely Port Susan Bay. The open floor plan for the kitchen, dining and living area provided a great setting for family gatherings around food, conversation, and games; the upstairs sitting room and multiple bedrooms were good get-away spaces for reading and afternoon naps; the hot tub was a great place to relax while watching amazing sunsets; the fire pit was perfect for making s'mores; and, the beach and kayaking were big draws for everyone in our group from age 5 to 70. The house was spotless and the furnishings tasteful and in good condition. Just can't imagine a better setting for our family vacation.

CLEAN, COMFORTABLE & PERFECTLY APPOINTED!!!!!
This home and property are so lovely! The house and grounds are meticulously maintained with great attention to detail. From the well equipped kitchen with everything you could need to make a proper meal to labeled cupboard and pantry items. The home, kitchen, bathrooms, linens and towels are spotless and comfortable. The appliances and furniture are very high end and wonderful to use. Sandy was helpful despite our ever changing arrival/departure time. We thoroughly enjoyed our winter stay and look forwarding to retuning again during the summer months! Wonderful memories were made and we can't wait to come back!

Fabulous house with lots of room!
We spent a long weekend at this house and had a great time! The house is spacious- 3 full bedrooms each with their own bathroom, and an additional bedroom upstairs (no bathroom). The kitchen was large and fit 6 women preparing food all weekend, and is well stocked with dishes, utensils and amenities. The home itself sits on a bluff with an outstanding view of the water and Camano Island. There are steps down to the beach, however like all reviews listed, use with caution and care. They are sturdy and well maintained but very steep and at times not evenly spaced. Any small kids or people with mobility issues should avoid completely (our group of active women in our late 50's and early 60's did fine). We used the hot tub and loved it and enjoyed the very large dining table with seating for 8. We also made use of the wood burning fireplace (wood provided) as we enjoyed the rainy fall weather outside. The wifi was strong and the home was very clean. Our only small negative was the great room with all the seating does not have a TV and we love to watch movies on our girl's weekends, snuggled by the fire. There is a big couch and TV upstairs, so that was nice. Also, there is a distinct sulfur smell to the water in this area of beach living, but mentioned in the house book upon our arrival so we were prepared. Our favorite part was that the home was only one hour from Bellevue with no ferries and no waiting in line. Even so, we felt like we were secluded from the rest of the world. Sandy was great to work with, easy to contact and nice as could be. If you have a large crowd, this is the rental for you. We look forward to returning to this home soon!

Great house
We had a family reunion with 3 toddlers and 6 adults. There was plenty of space. The house had a well equipped kitchen. The yard away from the water is very large and offered a safe place to the children to play. We saw deer there several times. The blackberries were ripe while we were there and a wonderful surprise. Sandy was very easy to work with and answered all my inquiries quickly.
