The views are spectacular, the comfort level high have to be comfortable with cooking on the bbq or fire pit though. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We had an amazing time in the beautiful log cabin right behind this one. They were both beautiful but we had a few snags and they graciously upgraded us to their large cabin behind this one with no extra fee. The cabin was a dream come true, literally. I am from the area and come home to see family and they were very lenient to letting my family bring our 4 wheeler to the property to park so we could ride around the lake and have a good time. The views and details were heart warming and comforting. Not to mention... I am a chef and I know a gourmet dream kitchen when I am in one, WOW. Great location, close to town. All in all, we will be back!

just what we needed
My partner and I needed a place to stay for almost a month while relocating our daughter to Montana from California. The cabin was so comfortable and restorative for us during a stressful time. Carroll and Nancy were wonderful hosts, quick to respond to questions and always helpful. The setting can't be beat - lake view, visits from deer and osprey, gorgeous skies. We came away refreshed and inspired.

great space for 1 or 2 people
I loved this little cabin!
While the rest of my group stayed in the bigger house on the property, I had this great space all to myself! There is a good-sized bedroom with a small table, a desk, and a little "kitchen" area with a coffeemaker, refrigerator, microwave and toaster. The bathroom is huge, with a closet/dresser area, and a huge rock shower. I enjoyed my quiet mornings watching the sunrise with my cup of coffee, enjoying the view of the lake, before joining the rest of my group at the bigger house.
I recommend visiting the Helena farmer's market on Saturday morning (in the summer), and don't miss the Lewis & Clark Caverns - about an hour drive, but worth it! Carroll and Nancy (the owners) were super nice, and happy to make recommendations to us. I wish I could have stayed longer!
