Excellent
This is the first time that I used VRBO and when I use it again any property and host will never match this one. The place was very clean, comfortable and the host was perfect. I felt like I was at home.

Great hostess and beautiful outdoor space
Pat was a wonderful hostess who provided many amenities that we really appreciated - plenty of bath and beach towels, bed linens, beach chairs, kayaks, hammock, the list goes on! The lawn, garden, and view of the water was really beautiful. There is no kitchen sink or oven, which we knew in advance, but we used the grill for many meals which was fun. The listing is clear about this, but just want to emphasize that there is no door between the owner's living space and the rental space, so if privacy is important to you, this is something to keep in mind. We really enjoyed our stay and the location was ideal.

Beautiful Setting
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely & tranquil spot. The water view, hammock, kayaks and pool make for a great summer trip. Pat is a superb host who sees to it that you are comfortable and content. There are nice restaurants in the area which add to a nice getaway.

Everything you expected and more!
We loved Pat's place. Beautiful and CLEAN. Pat communicated with us from our 1st inquiry of her property up until we arrived. Immediate responses to our questions. Upon arrival Pat checked us in and showed us how everything worked. She didn't miss a thing! I have never stayed at a VRBO that was so well organized and thought out by the host or hostess. If you are considering staying at Pat's we say "DO IT" you will not be disappointed. She is a wonderful hostess and has a beautiful home. Thank you again Pat, we will be staying with you again on our next trip to CT.

Had a wonderful time! Ideal location, relaxing accommodation! Pool & kayaks a definite plus in 90+ degree weather!

Serene location at Palmer’s Cove.
Lovely location, peaceful with nice breezes. Owner is a great hostess. Only thing that was incorrect on the write-up is that there is NO air conditioning. Great breezes and many fans made sleeping fine in hot weather. Also, note there is a Keurig coffee maker so bring your favorite k-cups and enjoy your morning coffee by the wonderful pool.

Beautiful location
This lovely property was spotless!! My husband and I did many things in the area. There were several fans but a window a/c unit would’ve been great. The pool was beautiful but very cold. Thank you especially to Jen for making us feel so welcome and being a great reference for things to do.

Our CT vacation
We had a great time and for the price you couldn't get a better deal. Your own private pool that was cleaned everyday, plus the view out the back was so relaxing - just wish we had more time to try out the Kayaks. Pat was so gracious that we didn't feel too uncomfortable with her staying upstairs the first night. When she left, she had two other people cleaning and making sure we had everything we needed. Can't say enough except that we'll be back the first chance we get !

Perfect Getaway
The owner of the property was lovely and so detailed in her notes to us. She had a cleaning lady that came in every day to assure that the place was clean and prepared for us each day. The home was perfectly situated to all areas we wanted to visit - Mystic, Watchill RI, Stonington. Property had a pool and beautiful lake and scenery. Great weekend get away and super close to the Amtrak train in New London if you don’t want to have to drive from NYC. Easy to get to, right off the highway

Beautiful and can’t go wrong!
We stayed for 5 nights and traveled surrounding states during the day. It was a prefect cozy place to end the day. It was cold during our stay so we will definitely return when we can enjoy the pool and amenities. Very clean, convenient and Pat was amazing!

A beautiful place on the water complete with 2 kayaks.
This was a great place to stay in the Mystic area. The home was spotless and spacious. We had full use of the yard, patio and the fabulous pool. The limited kitchen only had a refrigerator, microwave and a toaster oven (no stove or sink) but the owner took care of any dirty dishes. The owner was delightful and we will definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

5 star!
We had a great stay and really enjoyed the location and the wonderful hospitality. Great communication which made it very easy for us to come and go, use the property and all it offers without feeling like we were intruding. Overall a wonderful experiance and we would stay again for sure and recommend to others.

Great little getaway!
This property was perfect for my husband and I. It's so close to Mystic, cute little town, and it had great ammentities that we took full advantage off (kayaks and pool), and the sunsets from this property are breath taking! Also, Pat, the owner, was so kind and her hospitality was out of this world. We felt well taken care of while there.

We loved our one-month stay on Palmer's Cove.
Pat was a delightful host; helpful, friendly and ever ready with helpful suggestions and local lore. We had all our expectations met. We knew that the kitchen facilities were limited, but Pat more than made up for that with a perfect dish-washing system that was efficient and timely. Finally, Pat's openness and warmth really made our month fly by. Noank is a great place to visit. We highly recommend this home to a single person or a couple.

We just checked out after staying the weekend. The unit was exactly as described, clean, spacious and had a great view looking out into palmers cove. Pat did everything to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

Wonderful home away from home, and wonderful stay!
It is quiet, peaceful, and beautiful here, especially gazing at the spectacular sunsets, listening to birdsong, and seeing the resident snowy egret come to roost on the big rock at water's edge. The property is lovingly landscaped too.
The living space is spacious, charming, immaculate, comfortable. And our hostess Pat thoughtfully provided every creature comfort, even toiletry items that perhaps we might have forgotten to pack.
We enjoyed relaxing by the crystal-clear pool and taking a daily dip. We used Pat's kayaks to paddle around the cove and even traveled to a nearby beach, where we stopped for a pleasant swim.
We enjoyed many nearby attractions and activities, such as Mystic Aquarium, the US Navy Submarine Museum, the Denison Nature Center, Olde Mistick Village, Foxwoods Casino, and Ocean Beach Park. Pat provided a helpful basket of info about local things to see and do, and also recommended some events that were happening nearby during our stay, like the Blessing of the Fleet parade and Tuesday night live music on the beach - just around the corner!
After so much fun, we dined like locals at outdoor marina-side lobster and clam shacks, followed by homemade ice cream; then, peaceful nights of great sleep on the very comfortable bed, with soft, gorgeous linens. What a perfect vacation!

An ideal spot for true rest and relaxation
If one wants to experience a special place with true Southeastern Connecticut charm, Pat's spot on Palmer's Cove is the place! A charming setting right on an estuary off the Mystic River, morning breakfasts and evening cocktails are blessed with water views, soft sea breezes, and the occasional egret or heron, unimpeded with other guests or noisy elevators. Pat, our host, was attentive but not obtrusive, and has a wealth of local knowledge on beaches, restaurants, and sites. (Her pool was fun too!) Go and relax, enjoy, and refresh!

Enjoyable Respite along Palmers Cove
The owner, Pat is very gracious. She was respectful and responsive to our needs at all times... And the setting of the property is really lovely!! The property offers serenity on its covered patio area, the pool and deck, as well as the waterfront grounds bordering Palmers Cove. It is wonderfully located to easily embark on day trips exploring in and around the region. We enjoyed exploring the cove and coastal waters by kayak, sailing with Captain Darin on the Poet's Lounge around Fisher Island Sound, and traveling to Mystic and Block Island. The region has so much to offer. Pat offered wonderful suggestions in her welcome packet and never steered us wrong. We absolutely loved eating at Abbots for open air lobster, The Boathouse in Old Mystic Village and ordered yummy lunches to go from Mystic Market.
Initially, we were a bit surprised that the guest area's living space in this VRBO was so open to the owner's living area from the entryway, both visually and auditorially, without having a door of separation. We were a bit self conscious as it didn't feel completely private. We learned to adjust accordingly. It really is more like a beautiful bed and breakfast, where you have your own bedroom and bath and semi-private shared communal spaces, coupled with terrific amenities and a sweet hostess. We modified our "hang-out" places on the property to accommodate our need for greater personal space and had a marvelous time at the rental.
Temperatures were frequently in the upper eighties and nineties with high humidity during our stay. Pat offered AC, but we found the fans provided created enough relief for our comfort. We appreciated her kindness and courtesy. It was a wonderful vacation and we would definitely consider staying with her again!

Tranquil getaway with beautiful water view
This getaway trip was everything we hoped for! A lovely spot on the water, very quiet, and relaxing. As others said, Pat is a thoughtful, gracious host. We were delighted with our stay and will be back soon!

Peaceful getaway
Pat is an excellent hostess. The rental unit is well kept and has everything you need. I loved the little touches like having coffee available the first day. The rental is an open space, but we still had plenty of privacy. I think of it almost like a bed & breakfast except there aren't shared meals. The location is great, a short drive to mystic and a quiet area.
