Welcome to the Crested Butte Retreat! Our beautifully remodeled home is located in the most convenient location right in town. During your stay you'll enjoy the charm of a Historic home, but with the modern amenities you'd expect from a fully renovated luxury vacation rental.
Our home has a bunch of amenities that other homes lack: A brand new Hot Tub, A steam shower, 400MBPS High Speed Internet, every streaming service (Netflix, HBO, DirectTV), Nest thermostat with built in central humidifier system, and the most lovely interior design that you’ll find in town. We've designed our home with guests in mind.
You'll appreciate the architectural details of reclaimed post and beam construction, high vaulted aspen tree ceilings, and reclaimed heart of pine wood floors. And when the weather is chilly, cozy up the fireplace in the living room.
The spacious gourmet kitchen will make preparing meals a joy. Outfitted with a SubZero fridge/freezer, Thermador gas stove/oven, Vitamix blender, and top of the line cookware and appliances. The large farmhouse sink is surrounded by local, hand cut sandstone countertops and custom cabinetry. The dining area has a large farm style table which seats 8 people comfortably.
After a day of adventuring in the mountains, relax in the the Hot Tub on the back porch. With comfortable seating for 4-5 people, it’s a perfect place to stretch out and enjoy views of Red Lady or stargazing on most clear nights. Other guests will enjoy the master bathroom steam shower! Another great way to relax after a day in the mountains or a relaxing way to wake up in the morning.
Let Coal Creek lull you to sleep in the front upstairs bedroom, while views of Mount Crested Butte fill the windows of the third bedroom upstairs. A very unique full bathroom in true mountain decor is located upstairs between the 2 upstairs bedrooms.
A full size washer and dryer, brand new full bath, and sleeping loft with a brand new queen bed are located adjacent to the kitchen. Guests in the sleeping loft can close the pocket barn door and enjoy complete privacy from the rest of the house. A private patio with deck furniture is a great place for breakfast in the warm months. The home is fully furnished and equipped for up to 8 people, with professional cleanings scheduled between all guests. Guests will have complete privacy and full access to the entire home during their stay.
Sleeping Arrangements: We have a 3 bedroom, 1 sleeping loft home. 1 King bed in the master bedroom on the 1st floor, 1 Queen bed in each of the 2 upstairs bedrooms, and a queen bed in the sleeping loft. The ladder to the sleeping loft is vertically built into the wall, so not ideal for older folks, but ideal for the athletic and for kids. We can sleep a maximum of 8 people, but the house is really best suited for 4 to 6 people.

I enjoyed a 4 night stay at this property with family and friends, and would stay again. The home is in a perfect location to enjoy the shops along Elk Ave. while also being central to great all around trail access. Adam is a great host - very helpful and responsive.

This is our second stay… house is in the best location. You can walk to every restaurant and ride bikes to tennis courts. The house is clean and well organized. The owner is super nice and very accessible. Can’t wait to visit again!!

Skiing in Crested Butte
This is an excellent property that is very well located right off Elk Ave. next to the ski shuttle. The house was wonderful, clean, and well appointed. The property manager was top-notch and super responsive/helpful. I definitely would book this property again.

The perfect house in every way
This house has it all and Adam is an amazing host. The house was as advertised and you would be crazy to stay anywhere else. the house has everything you would expect in a luxury rental. The location leaves you just steps away from the heart of CB. We are already discussing our next trip to CB and we will definitely stay here again.

Location!
Having visited CB several times before, this was by far my best stay! The location is amazing, just steps away from Elk Ave, and the home is perfect. Adam was extremely great to work with, very easy to communicate with, and flexible about checking in/out to fit our travel needs.

Amazing.
An amazing modern rustic property in the best location in Crested Butte. We loved being able to walk to all the great restaurants and bars, and the town shuttle to the ski resorts is literally a 10 second walk across the street. We were able to use the house as a home base for taking the kids skiing in the morning, bringing them back for naps, and heading back up in the afternoon for more skiing by ourselves. Adam and his property manager were awesome! Great communicators and always there to help. They even went out of their way to pick up a new pack 'n play crib just before we arrived so we didn't have to bring ours! We will definitely be back again!

Amazing Property and Owner
The accommodations and service were absolutely 5 stars. The location of the house could not be better. Step out the front door and you are 1-2 blocks away from outstanding dinning, bus to the slopes (every 15 mins), nordic ski trail system, great coffee, bike shop and so much more. Adam's (owner) attention to every detail and service is incredible. I can't say enough about the entire experience. We took our kids (20,18,16) and they loved it. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much Adam!!

Perfect in-town location
The house is a great place to stay for great access to restaurants and shops in town. We walked 50 yards to the farmers market on Elk! Adam checked in with us via text to make sure that everything was going well. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking and the living space is cozy and comfortable. We really enjoyed the hot tub on the patio and it was nice to have the garage for extra storage. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra linens, towels, pillows, fans, a fold out mattress available. The bathrooms were nice and the loft area was a good additional space to have for sleeping.
The house doesn’t have AC, which isn’t a problem as the weather is great in the summer and we enjoyed sleeping with the windows open at night. We noticed a few missing screens and areas where the blinds could offer more privacy as the home has nearby foot traffic so it can be easy to see in.
We were a little concerned that being so close to Elk and restaurants would be noisy at night, but it was not a problem at all. There isn’t private parking for the home but during the time we were there in August it was relatively easy to find street parking very close to the home. The property shares a fence with Coal Creek Grill, which is a great restaurant and there’s a cute homemade ice cream shop across the street. Most restaurants in town are 10 minute walk (or less!). The house has a single step to get in the front door and there is a step down to access both bathrooms on the first Floor. The master bed and loft are on the first floor, while the third bathroom and both guest rooms are on the second floor. We enjoyed our stay in this home and you can’t ask for a better location in town!

Adam was super helpful, the place is clean and surprisingly roomy. The location cannot be beat. Right behind the old Forest Queen Hotel, which has amazing breakfast and lunch. We have rented all over town, this place is one of the best. Thank you!

Fantastic Stay!
We came to town for a wedding and felt fortunate to have found this place! The house was spotless and very well maintained. The decor was what you might call "mountain modern", which we found to be both super charming and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Amenities like the hot tub and steam shower felt luxurious and relaxing. And the LOCATION was SUPERB. I don't think you could beat the convenience of the location. We have already made plans to return this Winter! A perfect home, in a perfect town, with a really great Host. If you have the chance to stay here, DO!

Our family met for Spring Break in Crested Butte and this was the perfect house for the 7 of us. The house is very cozy and it is located so centrally that you can walk anywhere in town or jump on the bus to go to the mountain. If the house if available when you visit you should grab it! And Adam, the host, is very accommodating and available if you need anything.

Spacious Home, Perfect Location
Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Crested Butte, largely because of this tremendous home and the perfect snow conditions on the mountain:)
We were welcomed to the property with a very nice gift basket on the kitchen counter and a really well put together house manual. My wife and I appreciated the digital door lock (no need for house keys to lose while skiing) and the detailed house instructions. They really thought of everything for this property right down to the usb phone chargers, comfy blankets on each couch, Steam Shower, and of course that nice Hot Tub out back!
The location couldn't be sweeter. Our kids were able to walk over to Elk Street and browse the shops on their own. Great restaurants including Coal Creek Grill, Sherpa Cafe, and Stash Pizza were right around the corner. And the shuttle bus up to the mountain was just across the street - very very convenient for our Ski days.
This is a very special home and we hope to return many, many times. Thanks to the host for curating such a perfect spot for our vacation!
