The intro-photo is of the actual beach in front of the Condominium. We are located on Perdido Key, Florida, between Pensacola, Florida and Orange Beach, Alabama. "Perdido" means "lost" in the Spanish language, and Perdido Key is sometimes called "Lost Key" by local residents and businesses.
Perdido Key, is a barrier island located in extreme northwest Florida and southeast Alabama. The Florida district of the Gulf Islands National Seashore is located at the east end of the island. No more than a few hundred yards wide in most places, Perdido Key stretches some 16 miles (26 km) from Perdido Pass Bridge near Orange Beach, Alabama, to just across from Santa Rosa Island near Pensacola, Florida.
Environmentalists and outdoor enthusiasts enjoy Perdido Key because it is one of the few remaining unblemished stretches of wilderness in the Florida Panhandle. Miles of preserves offer a wealth of opportunities for hiking, kayaking, and bird watching. Dolphin watch excursions and sailing tours are popular with tourists, as are moonlight cruises on the bay. Perdido Key’s two state parks and an expanse of National Seashore are ripe for spotting gray foxes and blue herons in the wild. Local outfitters offer guided tours, but self-guided nature trails at Big Lagoon and Johnson Beach are perfect chances for solitude.
Location & View:
The condominium is on the beach and adjacent to Perdido Key State Park and across the street from a great little sea food restaurant. The condo, on the 1st Floor, has a wonderful beach side waterfront view looking south and east at the surf. The northern side deck looks out over Perdido Key Drive and Old River with its boat traffic.
You'll have private parking for 2 cars as well as private access to Perdido Key Beach. An outdoor shower is provided to wash off the sand and saltwater when returning from the beach and Gulf of Mexico . . . on the water side of the condo.
Golf (just up the road), boating, fishing & blue-crabbing along with many other attractions are also right here for you. Shopping and dining abound and are easily reached by car or walking . . . or boat! If you prefer a small condo complex, this is the place for you with only two stories and 10 units.
The Lost Key Golf Club is located right here on Perdido Key ... with additional courses located nearby. World class charter fishing is also available. Thinking about a beach wedding, then you have found the perfect location! We'll even hook you up with a local beach wedding planner.Your hosts live on Perdido Key, approximately 1 mile away ... and will be pleased to assist you with recommendations, directions or resolving issues that might come up.

This place is amazing! We had a great time and would definitely recommend it!

Nice unit especially if you want to be away from the crowds. Unit was exactly as shown in pictures. There is a problem with sliding glass door but owner assured me he has a new door on order.

The condo complex is very well taken care of. The location to the beach is just a very short distance and the complex is close to several great restaurants and shops. The unit itself could use a little upkeep. It was very dusty on lampshades, overhead lights and the guest bathroom vanity. The air vents are also concerning with black growth on them. I'm unsure what it was but as a person with allergies to most everything I had to use my emergency inhaler multiple times a day while in the condo. But again the location and proximity to the beach was ideal. This complex is right next to the public beach access, which does increase beach traffic to the right of the complex.

Very comfortable condo. Nice location on the beach close to restaurants, NAS, etc.
Host is exceptional - we had a minor issue with something in the condo which the host fixed within hours.
Will return hopefully soon, it was that nice.

We enjoyed our visit and the place was much more quiet than others we have stayed at.

This is a very nice location. The unit was clean and had amenities that we could use; coffee maker, fridge, etc. A few simple upgrades could make it much more enjoyable; The back sliding glass door is very hard to open and shut, if not replacing it, just adding a handle would be helpful. Things like new towels, a regular garbage can in both bathrooms, a few more glasses in the kitchen, could go a long way. We very much enjoyed our stay and Paul was a good host. Thank you!

It was nice for me and my family to get away for a week. Everything was close by and we were right on the beach so that was great, especially for the kids. We were able to cook which saved us a ton of money and also do laundry so we could have everything clean before we left. We will be back if we get the opportunity.

The condo was perfect for our family of 5. Our crew included 2 adults and 3 kiddos (8,4,3). The property was clean and just as pictured. We loved the close proximity to the beach and the washing station to get most of the sand off! We would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at this condo. Very clean and fit our family perfectly. We enjoyed being located on the beach and having a private building walkout. Due to the size of the condo building, it was so quiet and peaceful. The home had everything we needed plus some items to truly enjoy our visit. The beach items were definitely a bonus!! We would definitely stay again.

If you want to stay in a large condo with noise and crowded beaches “don’t “ rent this condo. This is a small quiet condo building with uncrowded beaches. Condo is clean and has all the amenities you would need for your stay. Paul is a great host and lives 1 mile away in case you need him. Restaurants are very close. Numerous sightseeing opportunities. We plan a return trip!

It was our first time staying at a beach front spot—would 10/10 recommend!!
Smaller condo building with a very short boardwalk stroll to a private beach area right next to perdido key state park. GORGEOUS area and always love our time in Perdido Key! When we arrived we did notice some areas in the condo that were missed with cleaning—but nothing too concerning. Overall an amazing location, condo. Will definitely plan on coming back!

Beach Trip
Overall we enjoyed this condo. Like other reviewers had mentioned, the beds can stand to be improved, but overall it was good. Minor updates to this condo and it would be perfect, although we did enjoy it as it is.

Relaxing Anniversary Trip
This is now our 4th time staying at this property and it is just fabulous. The location, condo and owners were fantastic. The privacy on the beach was perfect for us as it allowed for relaxation and space for us between people. We will definitely be staying here again. The proximity to restaurants, shopping and anything you need is close which is great. The amenities and view from the condo is superb. Definitely would recommend for those looking for a little privacy and stay right on the beach.

Best beach access ever...
Could not have had a better beach location. The chairs and beach toys in the closet were perfect. Easy access to many restaurants & stores for basic needs. Enjoyed our stay. Would stay again. A little dated but did not affect our enjoyment.

Love the Area and Private Beach
We did enjoy our stay but the air was not working properly, the mini frig not working but semi-fixed after 3 days. The condo needs updated beds, could not sleep at all on any of the beds probably 30-year-old beds not kidding but whoever is the cleaning person needs to be fired the shower curtain and bedspread had something orange on it like maybe food from previous people. Then there was a KAREN (Connie) she was a nightmare our first night there we were sitting on the deck after a 13 hr drive, we were having a few drinks and listening to music trying to relax and she came out calling us trash and telling us we were just renters she lives there and more, but every day she would run people off and out of our area. The convenience of stores at either end was great and easy to get to. All in all, we could have LOVED it, but I do give it 4 stars it can be a great place with new beds and a DEEP clean in there. I did meet the owner she was awesome and she did talk to Connie about yelling at us and running people out.Would I stay again yes but ONLY

Great condo
We enjoyed our stay. Unit was clean and comfortable! Perfect for our family of 4. My two daughters loved having their own room with each having their own bed! Two decks are awesome. Beautiful beachfront views. Great boardwalk to beach. Loved the closet full of beach chairs/toys/umbrella! Paul was very responsive to texts. Would definitely stay again!

Wasn’t the best vacation we’ve taken
Weather was terrible which set the tone for our trip. As far as the property is concerned; I was not a big fan of the living room furniture lay out. There weren’t many channels to watch on TV either. I had a request from the owner to meet with his HVAC contractor one morning between 9 & 10 and wasn’t crazy about that as I do construction for a living and went on vacation to get away from this type of stuff. We also had a painter in our condo the next day and we were not notified about him coming. The beds were very uncomfortable. We were also accused by the owner of an issue with the condo a day and a half into our stay which really frustrated me and my family. He came to the condo to visit with us about the issue and unclog shower drains and did state during his site visit that he wasn’t accusing us of anything, but the relationship had already became strained by in my opinion. The private beach and location was nice and the check in process was painless. Those were the positives of this unit. The condo could benefit from some updates in my opinion.
