About this house rental

Location, location, location. This two bedroom house is situated on Lake Minocqua and is mere blocks from downtown! While close to the heart of the city, the cabin has scenic views, lake access and is backed by a large wooded area (so it would not be a surprise to see a family of deer during your stay). You are within minutes of many of the local restaurants, bars as well as retail shops. It is also walking distance to the local beach and water sports rentals.

"Lincoln's Lakeside" has been outfitted with rustic style furnishings to bring you right into the coziness and charm of the Northwoods. The living room features a fireplace as well as large windows that look directly out into Schoolhouse Bay. You also have lake views from both bedrooms. You can be on Lake Minocqua in seconds as your private dock is just steps away (directly across the road). After a day out on the water or around town, wind down on the large lake view patio which features a grill and fire pit with outdoor seating and lighting. This house is versatile and can accommodate parties as large as six, whether looking for a family retreat, fishing trip, golf weekend or getaway with friends. An air conditioner will be installed for the summer of 2021 and beyond. Additionally for your comfort, each room has a fan and screened windows that open.

House was cute, updated, roomy and well-equipped. Perfect view of the lake, excellent location for walking into town but still a quiet street location. Nice pier and private patio as well. Loved all of it!

The property was very nice with everything you need with a high attention to detail by the owner. We appreciated having a private dock for our boat, the ability to walk downtown to shop and eat, and a great view of the lake. We had a small family get together and it was perfect.

This property exceeded all our expectations for our girls’ weekend away! The house was very clean and the location is superb right off the lake and just a few blocks away from Main Street in town. The host was very communicative leading up to our stay. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Minocqua, don’t skip over this property. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a very nice stay in Minocqua. Our accommodations were perfect at this Lakeside Treasure. The view from this house is one to behold. The house was clean and well-supplied. The location is perfect, only a couple blocks from Downtown. We would stay here again anytime!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Lincoln Cabin. We found the house to be very clean, well stocked with everything we needed, and very close to everything we wanted to do in the area. Daniel, our host, was always very pleasant to work with and bent over backwards to accommodate our arrival and stay. I grew up in Minocqua and the Lincoln Cabin is a wonderful place to stay when returning to my "hometown". This was the second time we stayed here and I will always check its availability before checking anywhere else when we return to the area. Thank you, Daniel, for a very nice place to stay in Minocqua.

This is our 2nd time staying here and we couldn't be more pleased with the amenities and location. Close to downtown Minocqua, but quiet neighborhood. Easy to walk to shops , restaurants and hiking trail. Space to park our boat trailer behind the house. Daniel is very easy to communicate with via text and responds quickly to our questions. Highly recommend to small family groups!

This was a perfect home for our family of 4. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. The backside of the home is on a dead end road which was nice for our kids to play outside. The dock is close to the boat landing so it was super easy to get our boat in and out and to go park our truck right back behind the house before we left on the boat. The view was amazing and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch having our morning coffee. We even had a little chipmunk visitor. There were also deer behind the home and we were lucky enough to see a doe and her two fawn. Check in was super easy and the host was very helpful and responded immediately to my questions. We loved our time there and we would definitely stay again. Thank you to our hosts!

What a wonderful home! It was perfect for what we needed-a relaxing place on the lake, with great amenities. We were so close to town and the beach, and would highly recommend the Bearskin Trail!

We had another great time staying at this lake house. It has everything you need....gas grill, fire pit, lake right across the street with pier, kayaks and all of the necessary cleaning supplies, dishes and utensils. It is very clean and comfortable for sleeping. The location couldn't be any better, within walking distance to all of the restaurants and stores. We went practically everywhere during our weekend stay. We can't wait to go back again next year!

The host was very informative answered all of questions. He also checked in with us. We got to see some deer and eagles which made the trip cool cause we're I'm from I don't get to see it that close.

This was the perfect place for our family of five (kids 8, 10, 13). They each had a comfortable bed, the fireplace was fantastic, the appliances were great, and it had everything we needed. The place was the right amount of space, comfort, and simplicity. It was well organized and included technology options we didn't even have time to use. I personally enjoyed waking up and watching the fog roll in and out over the lake. It was fun to see the activity of ice fishing and snowmobiling on the water. There were a couple bald eagles enjoying the morning, too. The large front window has a fantastic lake view. Daniel was great to communicate with. He was perfectly responsive and helpful. My parents, husband, and I spent a snowy weekend in Minocqua and a wonderful time. The house was in a great location for ice fishing and the shops downtown. It was clean, well organized and stocked with everything needed for a weekend away! The hosts could also have not been any nicer and easy to work with!

We met family to enjoy a disc golf weekend in the area. This was the perfect place to return to at the end of the day. Loved that it was close to restaurants and had an awesome outdoor area to relax and unwind.

The owners of Lincoln's Lakeside home in Minocqua, WI provide a soothing place of relaxation. The owner replies in a rapid manner to any inquiry in a courteous and professional manner. The cleanliness of the home is excellent as are the many amenities provided. The beds are comfortable and the view of the lake makes sunrise and sunset a sight to behold. My one suggestion to those considering renting this lovely place is to become familiar with Apple TV operation if not already familiar with how it works. The owner is available via messaging to help with use of the TV if one is not used to using Apple TV. The home is a lovely place to enjoy rest and relaxation.

My husband and I had a wonderful mini vacation in Minocqua. Couldn't have asked for better weather and the location was perfect. We did daily walks in the mornings and had our choice of walking through town to the Bear Skin Trail or wandering around the very quiet neighborhood. This home has all the amenities, including a nice patio with a grill, dining table and fire bowl. Plenty of room at the end of the driveway to park a boat trailer. Daniel was awesome, kept in touch during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We really appreciated being able to bring our elderly poodle along! We highly recommend this home for families. The bedroom setup is perfect for a family of 4 with grandparents, which is what we might just have to consider doing next year with our kids/grandkids!

We had the best week staying at this rental, and all week my 3yo would talk about how much he loved our new house - "the little gray house" as he lovingly called it. Perfect location for walking into town for shopping, coffee, or of course Torpy Park. Loved having access to the kayaks to get out on the water and the dock for a little fishing. Fully stocked for everything we needed, which made packing so much simpler, including games and some toys for the kiddo. Having the air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and Apple TV was great for relaxing after busy days outside. Although now we're hooked on some new shows and will have to start our own subscription...I could go on, and we will definitely visit again! Thank you!
