About this house rental

Sailor's Cove is located on Lake Keowee, SC, minutes from downtown Seneca and 7 miles from the Clemson Campus. This 2,500 square foot lakefront home has 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and a large covered dock with deep water. Plenty of space for lounging and swimming for family and friends.

It can sleep 8 people comfortably. The main living area is a large open space with cathedral ceilings. The spacious kitchen has a large pantry and a breakfast bar as well as a small dining table. This opens up to the den area with plenty of comfortable seating including a large dining table. This main level also has 3 bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a king bed, separate bath, and deck access. The two other bedrooms on this level include one with queen bed and the other with 2 twins. These two bedrooms share the 2nd main level bath.

Main Level: Within the main living area there are three bedrooms. The master suite includes a separate bath and sliding glass door to the deck. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed with plenty of closet space. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds and a large closet. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms share the bathroom on this level. Each bedroom has it's own TV. There is plenty of seating in the main living area with sofa, loveseat, 2 chairs and a large dining room table. The spacious kitchen has a large pantry with a small table and a breakfast bar. Off the living area is a large screened porch overlooking the lake and deck with gas grill. For your convenience, there is wireless high speed internet available throughout the house.

Lower Level: The lower level of the home has another den area with a sofa and loveseat as well as 2 bunk beds, double on the bottom and twin on top. There is also a bedroom with a queen bed and large closet. The bathroom on this level is centrally located for the bedroom and den. There is a sliding glass door leading out to the lower level walkway to the water. There is an outdoor shower just outside this level.

Outside: This home is located on a quiet, no wake zone cove, perfect for fishing and swimming. There is a large covered dock with plenty of area for lounging and swimming including an easy access walk down ladder to easily get in and out of the water. The dock has covered overhangs on both sides, so you always have the choice to either sit in the sun or shade. There are several chairs for your use on the dock. There is enough space on the dock for 2 boats. This is a no-wake cove, so boat traffic is minimal. There are 2 kayaks for your use as well. The Keowee Marina is nearby for boat drop in.

This is a family vacation home - maximum 8, including babies and children: No large groups, no parties, no sororities, no high-school or college groups, no chaperoned or non-family groups, no church groups, or other large groups. Maximum of 8 strictly enforced.

We had an amazing time! The house was perfect for our two families with plenty of extra room. The house was very clean and the most well stocked place we have ever stayed. The cove is perfect for the kids to swim. You didn’t have to worry about speeding boats going by. We brought our boat. The marina was a short drive away and an easy boat ride to the house. There was enough room to park the boat trailer at the house. Cathy was an excellent host. She was quick to respond with my questions. We hope to make it back again.

We stayed at this property while visiting our brother who lives in Clemson. Two of our group have mobility issues, so the layout was perfect with 3 bedrooms on the main floor. Although it is an older property, it was immaculate and very well appointed. Great screened porch, we spent a lot of time out there overlooking the sailboats. Kitchen was well stocked. We plan to stay there again!

We were combining vacation with attending Clemson graduation and this was the perfect location. The house met all our needs and Cathy was so welcoming and responsive to any questions. I highly recommend this property.

This is a great spot on the lake with more than enough space for extended family. The kitchen had everything we needed to provide our Clemson student with some home cooked meals as well grilling for her and her friends on the weekend. We loved relaxing on the porch with a view of the lake and my daughter and a friend enjoyed taking the kayaks out. We hope to be able to stay again!

The property is perfect for our family. Enough spaces to spread out and watch tv or eat together or in small groups. Large kitchen that makes preparing meals easier. View is great. Dock is great. Close to the campus. Very clean.

The house was clean, had plenty of space for our family, and was mere minutes from Clemson! Simply stunning views and a safe cove with the no wake zone were a huge plus with the kids. Owners were very responsive and easy to work with- highly recommended!

We stayed for a week and brought our boat. Great location on a protected cove with no wake zone. Perfect setup for families. My older parents especially appreciated the stairs off the dock. The dock, back porch and deck were awesome hangout spots. The property was clean and well equipped. Definitely hope to stay again!

First impressions say it all, open the door and the fresh smell, cleanliness, cozy charm, and then the back porch view. Well stocked. Plenty of space and even got to park our boat on the private dock. And even caught big fish right off the dock too. Our little family loved it. Thank you Cathy, until next time Pam and Jerry

The home is beautiful and the location is great. We had three 85+ year old grandparents with us and it was perfect for them! The screened porch was their favorite place to sit and relax.

Very clean and well-stocked home in a great location, on the lake but very close to Seneca and Clemson. All 3 bathrooms have been recently remodeled and the house has great quality beds and linens/towels. We enjoyed the porch and dock (even in November) and hope to be back during the summer to take advantage of the lake. We had no issues, but Cathy was very accessible for questions (before and during our stay). Highly recommend this home!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our time on the lake! The house was spotless, and we loved gathering on the screened porch at night. The paddleboard and kayaks provided unlimited hours of fun, and we rented a pontoon boat to tube, explore the waterfalls and the little islands . Absolutely the best property and location on the lake!!

Great, quiet neighborhood. We all Really enjoyed the floating dock area and the use of the paddle board. Loved having the ladder on the dock; it made it so much easier getting in and out of the lake. We were able to pull up and dock our boat there, which was very convenient. Grocery store was very close to the house and convenient. It was also an easy drive to downtown Seneca. Loved the location of the house being in the cove, it allowed us to have a lot of safe fun on the lake. Thank you for allowing us into your home.

We brought Thanksgiving to our 2 Clemson students. This house was perfect. It was 10 minutes from their apartments. We spent a wonderful 5 days together. The house provided plenty of room in a very quite neighborhood. Pre-order a Turkey dinner at Publix and presto! Thanksgiving with leftovers. House is comfortable, clean, well furnished and easy for hosting. Thank you Cathy for being so responsive.

Well Maintained Home in an established neighborhood on a quiet cove. It was clean both inside and outside porch and deck areas. Fully stocked kitchen with supplies and spices. Beds were some of most comfortable we have had in VRBO. Screened in porch with coffee watching the sunrise was a special treat. With 3 bedrooms and 2 baths up, we had plenty of space with more beds downstairs. Would definitely stay again. Very gracious and responsive host.

We had a very enjoyable stay with my son's family to to see the Clemson GT game. The property was in a beautiful setting on the lake Keowee and convenient to stores, resturants and the Clemson University. There was plenty of room for all of us(6) on the first floor. Our kids family like to eat in so the kitchen and outside grill was equipped with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch with a table large enough to seat everyone to eat. We would definitely stay here for our next trip to Clemson.

We enjoyed our stay at the house and wish we had more time to spend enjoying the lake. It was convenient to the Clemson game and being able to go out to the dock to enjoy the sunrise and sunset was wonderful. The house is very well equipped and the owner was quick to respond. Great setup for families. We will definitely consider staying there again.

The house is VERY clean and the beds were really comfortable. We stay in VRBO homes often and the beds are almost always the downfall of the stay. That's not the case here so you're in luck! The home is ideally situated near grocery stores, gas stations, hiking trails and is right across from the sailing marina. The neighborhood is beautiful and it's quiet. Lots of room in the home and everything is in good working order. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a lakefront rental in Seneca, SC.

This is everything the description says it is. This lovely home is located on a quiet cove allowing for kayaking, swimming and fishing from the dock. A great spot for watching sunrise! Also, has easy access to the main part of the lake. Comfortable, ample seating in the family area. Full size kitchen. All appliances worked well. Dining table worked well as a game table after evening meal. Very comfortable beds. We especially enjoyed gathering for coffee on the screened porch in the mornings. Owner responsive to questions asked before rental and arrival. Spotlessly clean when we arrived. We had no problems that required we contact the owner during our stay, but it was nice to know she was just a phone call or text away.
