About this house rental
Play hard or just relax at this 6 bedroom, 4 ½ bathroom home on the clear waters of Lake Keowee. This home is new to the rental market in April 2015. The bedrooms feature King and Queen beds with high quality latex mattresses.

The newly developed lakeside patio and walkway on a gentle slope make enjoying water activities a snap. The outdoor shower at the lakeside patio has hot and cold water for rinsing off. There is a sandy beach next to the dock and a private boat ramp for those bringing their own boat.
Our house sits in a quiet cove. It's a great place to use the canoe or kayaks. High Falls County Park sits across the bay.
The open kitchen/dining/living area faces the lake with great views and the adjacent screened in deck has additional dining space. There's an open grilling deck off the master bedroom next to the screened deck on the main floor.
Our home sits on 1.8 acres with spacious level or gentle sloping yard areas for the furnished outdoor games of volleyball/ badminton, horseshoes, ladder ball, corn hole toss, and ping pong.
Unfortunately our property is not available for weddings because we are on a septic system which could not handle the large groups associated with weddings and we do not have adequate parking space for a wedding.
There is a cleaning fee and there are 10% taxes in addition to the rental fee.
Summer rentals are 7 days Sat.-Sat.
Shoulder season rentals in Spring and fall are generally 3- night stays. Winter minimums are 2- night. Dec.-Feb.
Holidays and Clemson graduations may have longer minimums.
Memorial and labor day weekends are 3-day minimums with Friday check-in, Monday check-out but usually additional days on either side of the weekend are available.
Clemson football weekends are generally 3-night minimum check-in Thurs., check-out on Sunday.
The fall dates of any given year will be unblocked once we know the Clemson football weekend schedule which usually comes out in January.

Cleanest house we have ever stayed in also after 8 plus years vacationing on Keowee… this house had the easiest, shortest walk to the dock! The kids loved the yard! The extra ice maker downstairs was a nice bonus. One minor side note, is that from the pictures it looks like a secluded cove… it’s not, there like 6 docks directly across from you…. But it’s still quiet, we only saw two other people on docks around us. Overall great!!

Great house, great location. Nothing negative at all. Loved the large yard for wonderful outdoor games and there is nothing like Lake Keowee

This was our first time having summer family vacation week at the lake instead of the beach. Even though we don’t own a boat we still had a blast. The owner provides 4 kayaks and a canoe. We used all of them and enjoyed swimming off the dock. The house is spacious and comfortable. The screened porch is amazing and we ate most of our meals there. We already plan to rent again!

We had the most wonderful time at this property! We had five children age range from five months to three years old and we played on the beach for hours! They have everything you need at the house for children. Books, games, even utensils for food. We absolutely loved our stay!! Four families stayed very comfortably at the home. We will make this home a yearly trip! Just a note, we brought a boat but due to the house boat ramp ending on sand, we used the public landing just across the lake. Super easy and convenient. Can’t recommend it enough. Thank you!

Excellent property which met or exceeded all our expectations. We had 8 on our trip and plenty of common space and nice, spacious rooms. It’s a delightful property which we would highly recommend to others. We hope to return next year.

This house was very convenient to Clemson, and had a fabulous yard and waterfront area for the kids (of all ages) to play. A great dock, fire pit and patio for the adults, and every outdoor game imaginable for the kids to enjoy in the large and relatively flat lot. The house was very spacious inside and had everything you could need for a crowd to spread out and enjoy themselves. Highly recommended!

My fiance, his friends, and brothers stayed for a very calm, bachelor weekend. It did rain all weekend, however they had such a good time and loved the house. Thank you so much to the host! God bless.

We rented this house in December to enjoy some time with family for an early holiday. While we weren't able to enjoy the lake since it was December, we enjoyed all the lawn toys from ladder ball, volleyball, and ping pong. The property is fairly flat if you have folks with mobility challenges that will allow them to be able to walk down to the lake. The layout of the house was great - three bedrooms and three bathrooms on the main floor with the kitchen and den. Downstairs are three more bedrooms and two bathrooms and an additional sitting room with kitchen. The kitchen was clean and stocked with every imaginable kitchen device you will need. The host was wonderfully responsive. I would highly recommend this is looking for a Lake Keowee home.

Everything was great. The house was clean, had everything we needed with a lot of space to spread out. Property was beautiful - we all enjoyed spending time together by the fire pit and kids had fun playing games outside. It was the perfect place to spend time with family. Larry and Sharon were also very responsive when needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Where to begin…the house was perfect!!! Amazing clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. Our family spent most of our time between the dock and screened porch. The owners gave detailed instructions which were very helpful. Our group ranged in age from 22 to 85 years old and was perfect for all!! We are already checking calendars for a return trip this summer!!!

Keowee Bliss
We have vacationed at Keowee for the last 8 summers. Our experience this year was by far the most enjoyable and relaxing we have had at Keowee! Very easy walk to and from the lake, sandy beach and spacious well- appointed house. The place was immaculate. We cannot thank Larry and Sharon enough for sharing their beautiful home with us!

Wonderful vacation!
This is our second time staying at this house and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is comfortable and clean. The yard, dock and accessories for entertainment were great! We love hanging out by the water and playing in the yard. The kitchen/dining area is also perfect for cooking family meals. We will be back!

Wonderful home for all ages
We had the easiest, most relaxing stay over the Memorial Day weekend. We took our boat and 13 family members stayed at various times. All the kids and grandkids stayed in the 3 downstairs bedrooms with all the older adults upstairs. Our grands could walk into the water from the sandy edge or jump off the dock with life jackets on. House is very clean and very well maintained with lots of outdoor games for the kids. The huge screened porch had the most beautiful view and we ate every meal out there so we could see the lake. Hands down one of the best places we have ever stayed at. The gentle paved path to the lake would have allowed one to roll a baby stroller or wheelchair down to the waters edge. Oh and the grands and all of us spent many hours on the canoe and especially the kayaks. Our youngest was 3 but if you had babies in pack and plays there was plenty of room for them in the bedrooms, or actually they could be set up in the large closets.

Fantastic View, beach and house
From the moment that we set foot in the house, we were impressed by the cleanliness and openness! The kitchen was well stocked with a huge pantry to store the food we brought! The dock is Trex and there are plenty of kayaks, a canoe and beach toys for the little ones! The firepit is unique and easy to use! There was lots of setting for the firepit and plenty of wood! The owners are super nice and really care about your stay in their home! It was a fantastic week for our entire family and we hope to be back next year!

Perfect lake house
We had the best time staying here. You can't ask for a better location, and the house is equipped with everything you need and then some. We've stayed at several places on the lake and this one was by far the best. We are already getting ready to book our dates for next year!

Love the layout of the home and the easy slope to the lake. Larry and Sharon are wonderful to deal with. This is our 3rd or 4th time staying at the home and we, along with our same group of friends, absolutely love it !!

Nice house for families
very nice home, great for families, plenty of room and well stocked, very clean, comfortable beds, beautiful dock down by the water, nice views, only complaint is it's a little isolated, no shopping or restaurants nearby, make sure you bring enough supplies with you as nearest shopping we found was 30 minutes away
