The apartment was modern clean the kitchen had all you would need for self catering accommodation could use a lick of paint and maybe do with adding a welcome pack ie milk bread they did provide a few tea bags and little sachets of coffee and sugar oh and mini washing up liquid but no milk for late arrival not ideal. The bedroom lovely huge bed very comfortable
The window in the living area and the patio doors need fixing as they are not well secured as a lady traveling on her own with a baby due to partners work commitments did not feel the safest environment cold air came in to the apartment and could not have the heat on after 12pm is when it was needed most due to having a small child and very noisy as the window and patio doors need fixing one side of the blinds in the living space are broken could do with a few touch ups of paint in all rooms sofa in front room had a dipped side. view not the best as apartment wasn’t really at the nicest part cargo boats and a working ship yard for the view .

Location was good for walking into town.
I had several issues with the property. Firstly the shower: in order for the water to be hot we had to turn the flow down so low that it was merely a trickle. There was more water flowing out of the control box than the shower head. Why the maintenance person that came to look at it couldn't rectify that I have no idea. Suffice to say he didn't. Secondly the TV: it would not work on terrestrial channels and although somebody did also come to solve this problem they most certainly didn't. I was told to use I Player but that didn't work either. Thirdly the duvet: the property boasted a large double. Unfortunately it was covered with a small double duvet which meant we played tug of war all night. The bed also boasted a pretty blue coverlet unfortunately it was covered in some very unpleasant looking stains. Lastly: the property was on the ground floor with windows directly on to a busy street. There were shutters at the balcony doors in the lounge and only cheap roller blinds at the rest. This meant that if we didn't want to expose ourselves to all and sundry walking by we had to keep the blinds down and live in the dark.

Location, clean and bed was comfortable.
Ground floor apartment. Quite noisy both internal and externally. Patio doors broke for the whole week we were there. Very loud extractor fan in the bathroom. Few maintenance issues.

Apartment had everything needed for a short stay. Free parking was very useful. Close proximity to the Main Street.
First time in Ayr I was disappointed with the town itself, and I feel the price paid for staying in this location was very very high.
