About this house rental
Casa Margherita is located in the heart of Positano, on the famous staircase called Scalinatella.
Easily accessible from the main road through a characteristic Positanese staircase and through another staircase you reach the beach with typical shops and restaurants.
The terrace has an extraordinary view and is the perfect place to listen to the sound of the sea on summer evenings.
As seen from the photos the house is made of 3 levels:
-Terrace with living room and kitchen and a bathroom
-a staircase leads to the second floor where is the room with the bunk bed, the room with the sofa bed and another bathroom, from this floor through a spiral staircase you get to the master bedroom with a wonderful view of the bay of Positano

There’s nothing not to like about this property. It’s clean, well equipped, and comfortable. The view is stunning. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony soaking in the sun and views of the mountains and water. Stunning!! One night we even enjoyed a delicious “al fresco” dinner. The host, Marguerite, couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. Highly recommend this place for a perfect vacation in Positano.

We were a family of three (mom, dad, almost 17 year old son) visiting Positano for 6 nights. The property was amazing and really added to our enjoyment of our vacation - it was the star! The beds were very comfortable. We slept on the top floor in the spacious double bed (king?) and our son used the bottom bunk on the level below. The house is three stories, all with views. The balcony is the highlight. We were able to cook dinner one night and enjoy the wonderful view and weather. We spent time on the balcony every day. Everything worked great - coffee, laundry, and most of al: air conditioning! I cannot imagine our vacation to Positano without this property. The location is halfway between the beach and the main road above with lots of restaurants. It is 5-15 minute walk to pretty much everything.

This is an amazing location overlooking the main beach in Positano. The highlight of the apartment is definitely the large veranda, although the inside is also spacious and well appointed. But the best part of our stay was our hostess Margherita, who looked after us so well. She even helped us with fantastic restaurant recommendations and arranged a great outing to Pompeii, including a guide. Thank you so much for making our stay so unforgettable.

Adorable apartment. Family of 5, 3 adult children. Slightly tight accommodations but we were very happy there. Amazing views. Walkable to everywhere. Parking was fine- just grab one of the first 3 you see (guys in blue shirts, first 2 on right, closest to apt is third on left). Trust Margherita food recs. Highly recommend if in good physical condition.

Casa Margherita was fantastic and the pictures on the listing don’t do it justice. Our host met us with a bottle of Champaign and provided coffe and some light breakfast. Positano is breathtaking and allows close access to Capri, Pompeii and more.

The views are beautiful at the property! The location is spectacular with lots to do close by. Make sure you're ok with walking up & down lots of stairs. Definitely worth paying the porters to carry the luggage. You will absolutely love your stay here.

Thank you must go to the Host, Margherita. She was fantastic, and made our whole week’s accommodation a breeze.
The properly is ideally located, and slept six of us comfortably.
The verandah area was a must, and we were able to spend many afternoons watching the lights of Positano brighten.
Would recommend this accommodation to any group of six, and hope to come back in the near future

Casa Margherita is located right in the heart of Positano. It is difficult to imagine a better view of Positano and the coast than the view from the house’s terrace. The house was clean, comfortable, and provided all necessary amenities, including fast wifi. Margherita was very helpful in arranging for drivers, and porters to carry the luggage to and from the house. She responded within minutes to any queries we sent her. Positano is built on the side of a cliff, and so there are many stairs and inclines to navigate. One should note that the house is located on a long stair case, and one has to climb over 100 stairs to get to the house. But once you navigate the stairs, you are in a comfortable house that is steps from the beach, restaurants, bars, stores, and ferries to Capri and other locations. If you are okay with the lengthy stair climbing, it really is a great place to stay in Positano.

This house has some of the best views. We ended every night on the balcony with a glass of wine admiring the views from every direction. Its location is close to the beach and shops. Margherita is a wonderful host and made us feel at home the moment we stepped through the door. She even went above and beyond by organizing us a driver to and from the train station. Would highly recommend staying here.

This property far exceeded our expectations! The location is perfect to get away from the crowds while still enjoying an amazing view of Positano. Margherita could not have been more helpful in scheduling car services back to Naples, luggage assistance as the stairs can be brutal and recommendations for places to eat in Positano.
The apartment was much larger than we anticipated and came fully stocked with kitchen items, coffee and a great welcome amenity upon arrival. We could not recommend this apartment enough!

You can't beat this location. The terrace is amazing. This location is close to the beach. Margherita was easy to work with, great communicator, and she helped book a private boat in Positano that was a great afternoon, transportation to and from Napoli train station, and a guide in Pompeii! I highly recommend this property. We stayed with 4 young adults and everyone had a bed. The loft is open to the bed in the lower area so if you need privacy and you have less people there are bunks and another pull out in the main living area. Great stay!

Absolutely incredible! First of all, the location and views are stunning! Large patio overlooks the beach and mountains with gorgeous sunsets. The home seems larger than the photos show it to be - master and sofa bed bedrooms are connected by a spiral staircase - and can be closed off by a door. The bunk room has its own door. On the middle floor there is a full bathroom and exit to the outside stairs. Another staircase leads down to the living room/kitchen/patio floor, which also has an exit to the outside stairs. It's a wonderful layout. Beds are all very comfortable, kitchen is fully stocked and prosecco awaits you upon arrival. Our host, Margherita, was just lovely and so incredibly helpful booking and confirming our transfers. This home is simply an incredible value for a Positano rental. Truly hope to return!

There is nothing bad I can say about this place! It was more spacious than the photos, being two floors. Two bedrooms and two comfy pull out couches! The views and balcony were literally breathtaking!!! It was a perfect location…not all the way down at the beach (so you got a great view) but not all the way up to the roads (so you don’t have to walk up double the stairs). Keep in mind there is no car access and you will be exhausted from climbing stairs no matter where you stay in Positano. The host was so helpful to meet us and help arrange transport and someone to bring our luggage up the stairs. She made our stay even better! I will recommend this place to everyone!!!

This rental is one of the best in Positano. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. You are steps from the beach, shopping, and restaurants yet just far enough to be away from the noise.
I cannot say enough about the amazing stay we had. The property manager was so helpful and kind. She arranged a private transfer to and from Naples, gave great advice, and even introduced us to her new kitten (and let our daughter name her fluffy).

The best place in Positano!!!
We absolutely adored our stay at Cassiar Margherita. We are a family of six and this was the perfect place for us. Amazing deck which we sipped wine on every night. Location is PERFECT. Steps from the main beach and fantastic restaurants. We rented a private boat with captain from Bluestar and they were incredible. Our best day in Italy. We also HIGHLY recommend the cooking class at La Taglieta. 10 courses and so much wine! Our fave restaurants were Don Giovanni and La Taglieta. We had drinks at Franco’s Bar (get there early). Casa Margherita was our fave place in all of Italy. The communication was exceptional and Margherita facilitated porters for our bags upon departure. We hope to come back one day!!!

Perfection in Positano
We could not have asked for more from this incredible property! It's in the perfect location (about 130 steps up from the beach), has the most amazing view, and Margherita is an amazing host. She was so helpful from beginning to end - had excellent advice for our family and set us up with a terrific boat tour and car service back to Naples. I would return in a second, and hope to someday! Don't hesitate to rent this property - I doubt a better one can be found in Positano.

Good sized apartment in a great location, with the most amazing view!
We loved our stay at Casa Margherita.
While the Positano steps can be a bit tedious after a long day they are soon forgotten once you enter the apartment, where the view over the beach can be seen from almost all of the rooms.
The apartment itself is very comfortable and well suited for a family.

Great location in Positano
This apartment has fantastic views from all the windows and also a beautiful deck overlooking the bay. It is very close to the beach; I never counted the steps but I would guess less than 100, which in this town means you are very fortunate.
The apartment is clean and the room set up is as pictured; it is a little unusual so pay attention to the description and photos.
We also really appreciated the great communication and helpful tips and referrals made by the property manager.

The villa was lovely: roomy, clean, new, near to beach, shopping, and restaurants. We had everything we needed. We also had the care of Maria who advised us about the area, gave recommendations, and made it all so easy. She was available anytime we had questions or needed guidance. Perfect.

Best property in Positano!
The photos of this property certainly don't do it justice. I am still in awe of the amazing view from the large terrace and miss it already. We felt the value was unbelievable for the location, size, and priceless view. The apartment is three stories and very comfortable with views from every room, including the bathroom. It's 169 steps down to the beach and Positano center. We thought this was an amazing location and very close to everything but be aware that it is a bit of a climb! Maria met us at the property and was wonderful. She helped us arrange our taxi to the airport and also a porter to carry our bags to the road from the apartment. She gave us great recommendations and even had prosecco and snacks waiting for us upon our arrival. I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone planning to visit the Amalfi Coast area!
