About this house rental

It is the perfect time to come to the lake and have plenty of space to enjoy the great weather and outdoors and still have your own social distancing comfort.
Perfect home for group up to 8 people. Located on the waters edge of Lake Buchanan. This home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. We do not allow extra guest due to our septic system capability. The home features a large family room with a wood burning fireplace and a large fully furnished kitchen. The master bath has a Jacuzzi tub for relaxation after a long day on the lake. There is a deck across the back that attaches to a very long pier that goes out to another 8x8 deck over the water for sunning or fishing. The property sits on 17 acres and offers peace and serenity across the water from a large ranch. For larger parties there is another cabin, The Lone Eagle Lodge , which, when available it can sleeps 6 people and is located next door. There is plenty of room for bringing your own boat or you can rent a boat nearby. We have another pier centrally located, that is attached to a floating boat dock for day use to secure your boat while boarding, fishing, or just taking a break from the water. The waterfront is a gradual slope for ease of swimming from your own private beach. For the golf enthusiast we have a putting green, just bring your own putter. Lots of room for the kids to bring their bikes and be able to ride on blacktop drives in an enclosed area and plenty of space to play.. Pets are welcome with a daily pet fee. Of $25 per night per pet. The home is basically a handicapped accessible property with single story living and level enter-ways. This is the perfect "get away" for a small group or larger group by taking both properties.

We were warned that the lake was down 20ft and the owner was so kind and offered a full refund, but we were just happy to return to this beautiful home as we had done in 2008. The house is immaculate. It is in close proximity to local wineries. It is oh so quiet.

Lovely accommodations. Very clean and comfortable. Stars you can get lost in! Not enough hot water to fill the jacuzzi tub, but that’s my only issue. Would visit again.

This 3 BR 2 bath lodge with open living, dining, and kitchen, along with washer/dryer, as well as outdoor patio/ deck/ pier on beautiful Lake Buchanan was perfect for a relaxing family vacation. We highly recommend it to others.

We had a great time at this wonderful home that is right on the shore of a secluded cove of Buchanan Lake. Our grandkids loved the private beach. The home had everything we needed and we plan on coming here again.

Our family loved this property so much! Once we got there Alan showed us around to give us the ins & outs. First off, the home looked & smelled very clean, and it was so spacious! The pictures do not do it justice. The wifi worked well enough for us, but we hardly used it because we were too busy enjoying the back patio & dock. Even though it rained all weekend that didn’t stop the guys from fishing off the dock. The weather cleared up on our checkout day - Alan & Sherri were so kind & let us stay a little longer to enjoy the beautiful weather. It was hard to come back to west Texas after a weekend like that, but we will definitely be planning another trip to this location in the near future!

My wife, along with our son, his wife, and their 3 young children utilized this property for a long weekend to kick off spring break. We were able to fish, use our kayaks, and let the kids play around the water. The property was just what we needed and had plenty of room inside and outside of the house.

The cabin is awesome and the location is perfect for day trips to Georgetown, Fredericksburg, & the rest of the Hill Country. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. We are already planning another trip here next year!!

Our family get away was unfortunately cut short there and we had to get back home, but we plan to return as soon as possible! The owner Sherri is so gracious and welcomed us immediately! The Crawford property is perfect for all families to get away from it all! I think the pictures didn’t do this place justice! It’s really cute and laid out perfectly for families to relax and kick back at the lake. Kids will enjoy seeing their horses and the deer roaming the property too. Great spot for little ones to splash in the water and fish off the dock. The cabin had everything a family or group would need for cooking, 3 bedrooms, plus one extra twin bed.

This is a wonderful property, just what we were looking for to relax. The sunsets were amazing from the back deck, the beach is very large and a nice gradual slope to deeper water. Sherri was very nice and welcoming, I would highly recommend staying here it’s wonderful!

Great stay and great people. We will be returning. There is a small beach in the backyard, and a wonderful pier right off the private deck for fishing. The home was stocked with anything you might need, and clean.

Spent Labor Day weekend sitting on the porch reading and relaxing. Large bedrooms. Friendly owners. Nice open space for the family to gather. Great back deck and porch. Dogs enjoyed walking the acreage. Far enough off the main road for peace & quiet.

This property is in a corner of the lake that has very few other people in it. We had a full house with ages ranging from 2-90. This property was perfect for us. There were no stairs to cause trouble for the 2 year old or the 90 years old. It had a wonderful dock to fish off of and we actually caught fish (caught and released). Also, being on the dock in the evening with the low light and sound of crashing waves was so very peaceful. The private Beach is bigger than I thought it was in the pictures. There was adequate sand for the kids to make sand castles and then an easy transition into the water. Watch out there is an old dock foundation or something similar out in part of the water. You might wack your leg discovering it. There is plenty of space to play away from it if it bothers you. There are trees in the water out past the swimming area that also work as a buffer for any boat or anyone that may actually venture out into this corner of the lake. We only saw one or two people anywhere near us. The space near the beach was at least 10 degrees cooler than anywhere else and had a constant gentle breeze. The property is also fun to explore. We did not cover anywhere close to all of it. It is a fun combination of manicured and rugged. The wifi existed, but was not great. The homeowners were responsive when we needed paper towels and told us some of the history of the property.

Great place for a large age range of family to enjoy nature and each other. The house was cool and comfy with nice entertaining areas both inside and out. Lovely view of the lake and super access for beachfront and boating activities. We also enjoyed meeting and visiting with Allen and know Sherrie was enjoying her grandkids!

The houses were immaculately clean and nicely decorated. They were a pleasure to stay in. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were roomy. The master bathroom was very large and had a huge tub (which our small grandchildren played in without water!) and a large shower enclosure. The kitchen are was very large with lots of counter and cabinet space. My only comment that is not entirely positive is that the dining are was very poorly lighted. The bedrooms also needed lamps for better lighting. The lamps provided were inadequate. The beach and swimming were very nice, especially the sandy area where the children played, that was obviously brought in for that purpose. The swimming was somewhat secluded so there was no boat traffic that was unsafe for swimmers. We appreciated the kayaks that were available to rent for a very low fee. We were able to go across the water to the beach on the other side in them and explore a little. The maintenance man aired up all our innertubes and floats, which were numerous. We visited with the neighbors, and they were very friendly and obviously didn't resent our presence. It was a wonderful vacation. Many thanks! Jan

What a great place to stay! House and surroundings were spotless and the grounds natural, which is great in my opinion. Owner was very kind, accommodating, and available. House is stocked with everything you could need in the kitchen and two bbq pits, one on the back deck and one by the water. Bed was comfortable, shower big and an amazingly large jetted tub. Definitely will return over and over.
