In the center of Stowe village with a river view. We are close to everything, including a trout stream and forest in the backyard!

3-bedroom, 2.5-bath, tastefully furnished townhouse with 2 decks overlooking Little River and the forest beyond while still being close to restaurants, and shops.

Gas fireplace, Jacuzz tub, dishwasher, washer/dryer, speedy wireless Internet service.

We have sharp knives, a pantry full of spices, abundant cookware, a cook's delight. Guests are invited to store skis, snowboards, or bikes in our garage.

Shuttle and Stowe Rec Path are nearby. Non-smoking rental. (Sleeps 6.)

This home is just perfect in Stowe. It is walkable to downtown, but quiet and peaceful. The back decks overlook the river, creating a lovely sound. The home itself is quant yet modern. It was one of the best stocked homes we have stayed in, with plenty of paper towels, dish soap, even laundry detergent. Many nice amenities too, the hosts are so thoughtful and included what travelers would need to make meals at home. The hosts communicated along the way and offered suggestions about the town of Stowe and even where we should go to watch the eclipse. The Huffman's were the most gracious hosts we have ever stayed with. Truly wonderful. You can not go wrong by choosing this home for your time in Stowe. We would absolutely stay again if we return to this area.

This was a lovely house to stay in and a very professional, courteous host. The location is perfect - right in the heart of Stowe, next to a grocery, some art galleries and several restaurants. The ski area is 15 minutes away by car, or you can take the ski shuttle. The house was lovely, with a great New England feel. There was plenty of room for 5 adults and an infant. The water was hot, the beds were comfortable and it was easy to check in and check out! We were very pleased with our stay and loved having a chance to ski in Vermont!

We loved everything about our stay. Most of all, the views from every room in the house are beautiful. You can open the sliding glass door and listen to the water flow in the river. The place is quiet and serene and provides all amenities your heart desire, all kinds of supplies, cooking ware, fire place... The beds are also very comfortable. As soon as you step out, there are many great restaurants, bakeries, local stores within walking distance. The owners were available if we had any questions and ensured we enjoyed our stay. I would return and stay there again and again, felt so cozy, warm and inviting.

the property was the perfect size for our 5 adults. it had everything you could possibly need or want from the kitchen to the bathrooms. Only wished it had 2 showers instead of 1 shower and 1 bathtub. Loved that it is right next door to a grocery store.

Location was amazing, walk to shops, restaurants, the beautiful town of Stowe, VT! This home was so beautiful inside and out, there was snow on the ground, the sound of the water flowing in the back of the house from the creek was awesome. Had a private feel! The bedrooms and beds were so comfortable as well as the superb kitchen and cozy living room with fireplace and overlooking the beautiful picturesque back of home! We enjoyed our stay, everything was perfect! From booking to checking out, Donald was very accommodating, informed and thoughtful! This is definitely the best location in Stowe and would return to enjoy this beautiful property!

This condo is exactly as pictured. Very nicely appointed. Comfortable seating and beds. We loved the porch for watching the river and gorgeous birds. The home was very clean and we appreciated the quality towels and bedding. The kitchen had everything we needed. Communication with the hosts was easy and they were kind enough to allow us to stay an additional night due to the torrential rain and flooding in the area.

This property was clean with a well appointed kitchen. The fireplace provided a great ambiance as well as some warmth. Ski clothes could be stored at night in the ample sized bedrooms.. Any questions were quickly addressed by the owners.

We just stayed 3 nights here and have to say this IS THE BEST LOCATION IN STOWE. It was absolutely perfect. The home is in perfect condition and super clean. It is within walking distance to everything in Stowe which was perfect for apres ski drinks and dinner. Donald even reached out to us on our first night to ensue that we were all set. We had an excellent time in Stowe.

We have stayed in several condos over the years. This condo is by far the nicest. Condo is downtown but extremely private with a serene view overlooking a babbling creek and hemlock forest. Walkable to dinner, grocery or coffee. But why go out when the Kitchen is equipped with everything a chef would need..

We had such an amazing stay at this property. The hosts could not be better and they were very accommodating during our stay. Their home is truly the best VRBO experience we have had to date. The beds were comfortable, all the appliances worked and the entire space was very clean. You can tell they take pride in their rental. Best of all the location was ideal for us. Walk to the grocery store, walk to dinner, walk to coffee in the morning. Ride to bike trails. A memorable experience for us that we won't soon forget.

I book properties on VRBO very often. This is one of the best properties ever. The property was immaculate and has everything you need for a great stay in Stowe. Walking distance to grocery, restaurants and shopping. The hosts are wonderful and very responsive. A short drive to many attractions in Stove. We cant wait to come back.

Perfect downtown riverfront condo

Great location, great views of the river, and great hosts. Right in downtown Stowe, an easy walk to the coffee shop every morning, to the corner grocery market, and to the rec path. The hosts were extremely communicative, helpful, and provided great recommendations. Beds were comfortable, home was clean, and the kitchen well stocked. The back porch was perfect for sipping coffee in the morning or toasting the day while watching the river and the myriad birds at the feeders. We will be back!

This is VRBO is one of the best we've stayed in. The owners obviously have a nack for what pleases the majority of visiters. There are three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, a master bedroom, and two guest rooms. The two outside decks and an outdoor gas fireplace with seating were most welcoming, as were the small work spaces indoors on each level. The kitchen was fully equiped. We found ourselves maybe 200 feet from the nearest grocery store and a short walk to downtown Stowe. Such a well maintained home made us want to keep it nice and tidy.

Had a wonderful time in Vermont! The condo was clean, inviting and had all of the necessities you could think of. Don checked on us several times and worked to accomplish our early arrival. We couldn’t have asked for a better location with much in Stowe within walking distance. There is a grocery store right by the condo which was a wonderful convenience. The river running behind the condo, with the beautiful view and many birds that visited made the stay even that much better. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We were 3 high school friends of 50 years on a New England trip to see the fall foliage. We were not disappointed as we hit peak time. Don’s condo rounded out our perfect visit. Located in the heart of Stowe, our trip was made easy. Easy to walk to town. Easy to drive to see the sights. When we weren’t out and about we settled down on the comfy living room furniture soothed by the sound of the babbling river and the ambiance of the fireplace. The deck was incredible for watching the birds and the river. The master suite was very comfortable. Great linens and wonderful jacuzzi bath tub. The other rooms were comfortable but small. The kitchen was well equipped for our cooking needs. Don was awesome to work with, always promptly answering any question I had. Check in was smooth. I would highly recommend this splendid condo and would definitely return.

Donald and Joanne are fantastic hosts. Kind, caring and have a great little place! The location is great and peaceful. The check in process was simple and easy to follow. I had a long drive to get there and Don reached as it started to get dark to be sure I was doing ok-how kind and thoughtful is that!! The kitchen had all the necessary items and more. Good accommodations/parking, central location to restaurants and outdoor activities. Market is seconds walk away and shops downtown are minutes walk away. Especially loved the walking path for us and our pup! Would love to stay here in summer when you can open sliders and hear the little river behind the condo.

Don is a wonderful host and we are so happy to find this little hidden gem in Stowe. The condo is well stocked and organized. Despite the central location of the condo complex, having the end unit make it feel that you have a private side yard is a god send for our dog.
