It is a really nice place to stay. I loved the fireplace in the room. Good location to access the area then being in the middle of all the tourist traffic in the other towns.
The tub seemed a little dated. The shower curtain did not keep water from soaking the floor . Although I knew in advance, the last time I was there 6 years ago, a hot breakfast was included and it was a lot cheaper to stay there.

Nice old house.
It was inaccurate description in booking .
It was said that there was a kitchen in the room , but in real life it was not . It was shared kitchen for the building, but not in the rooms .

Loved the self check in.
Coffee and oatmeal were great in the morning. So nice that after we checked out we were allowed to come back and use the mud room shower after a long day of hiking in the rain. š
Nothing. It was great. I did stupidly leave my boots thereā¦.my fault, please feel free to throw them out. Sorry.

The breakfast was pleasant and creative. It was a non-traditional mix of acorn squash, avocado, poached egg, cous cous, and cranberries. Truly a unique experience. Rooms were clean and pleasant, if dimly lit.
It is not clear how willing or available staff is to address problems. One is asked to email requests that are "not emergencies" or to ring a doorbell and wait an unspecified amount of time for a response. A bedside light in our not very well-lit room did not work, making it impossible to read in bed. This didn't seem like an "emergency" so I emailed. I received my response the next morning indicating that they would deal with it in the morning, by which time we would have checked out. The general sense I got was that the Inn is organized for the convenience of the staff, less so for the guests.

Been going to Trail's End for years, first time since covid and with new management. Dillon was great! Property still very well kept, nice atmosphere, obviously still great location close to the Garden Trailhead and other great hikes. The only mild negative is that the fantastic breakfasts we used to enjoy so much are no longer available...

Very nice inn. Good breakfast but no selection on main dish. Super grounds, sitting areas and porch. Very peaceful.
Ester room very nice except purple paint and jacuzzi tub not easy for shower.

Quaint inn on a little private road, close to town. Ample parking, welcoming vibe, outstanding breakfast and daily snacks, every convenience and comfort at your finger tips. Clean, historic and simply lovely experience.
