Very homey, yet with plenty of privacy as well. The hostess was lovely and welcoming, without being intrusive. We were only in town for a short stay, but it was great accommodation and we plan to return.
Breakfast was lovely, and the homemade muffins were the best we have had in a very long time.
Host also made recommendations for the area that were well received without being pushy. It is clear she loves the area and wants to welcome travelers to their slice of paradise, and we look forward to a return.
We also didn't play a game of chess on their board by the fireplace, so we really have no choice but to come back.
N/A. The floors squeaked when we came in after a wedding (late) and we tried to not disturb other guests. But it's an older house and that's to be expected.

This lodge is well laid out inside and the decor is perfect. The rooms are clean, updated, and well thought out. Best of all, the lodge manager, Carrie was amazing! She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and made a delicious breakfast. She was very accommodating, thoughtful, and makes the best cheesy eggs!

Enjoyed our stay, Had very good breakfast.. Quiet for a B & B. Room was pleasant.
Location had lots of stairs, (expected in an older B & B), but still challenging for older guests.

Make provisions before getting to Keene Valley. Stores close very early.

The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The suite was very clean and we were surprised how big it was as tbe pictures online didn't show the additional bedroom. There was a nice library with trail maps available, and very comfortbale rocking chairs on the front porch.
There was no air conditioning so it was unbareably hot which made it difficult to sleep. We would really suggest purchasing either a ductless ventalation system or portable AC units. That would make the place a 10/10.

The location was convenient for us to reach Lake Placid.
Also plenty of hiking and skiing nearby. Very quiet area
at night.

The Lodge is spacious, with several different common spaces for relaxing and socializing. the location was pretty, with the Ausable River snd good hiking nearby.

This beautiful classic Adirondack home is an ideal spot for hikers and non-hiking sightseers. Breakfast offered a side variety of fresh baked goods, fruit, oatmeal and more. Rooms are cozy, freshly renovated, and beautifully appointed. Overall great vibe.

Location. Central to everything in the Adirondacks! Inn owners are the best!! Made you feel at home!! We would definitely come back again.

A/C control wasn't working but we didn't mention it since the outside temperature was ideal for opening windows.

Awesome place, very tastefully decorated, we had a pleasant conversation with the owner and kids played with other guests' kids.
Close to all hiking destinations, there is a nice restaurant right across the street.

The breakfast was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and made you feel like family.

Our bed needed a new mattress. My husband spoke to the owner; he was glad we made him aware of that fact. Other than that, everything was fine.
