Needed a new place to stay in Bemus Point and found Rosebud Cottage. It is perfect! Close to both Bemus and the Institute. The host was very helpful with info on the cottage. Will keep this in mind next year

The Rosebud cottage looks brand new inside and out. It is exceptionally well kept, an ideal place for two to stay very comfortably. We enjoyed being right in Bemus Point, walking to get an ice cream and watching the sun set over the lake, great for running, bike riding along the lake road and convenient to get to Chatauqua Institution. Liz, the property owner was very kind and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I really enjoyed the Rosebud Cottage. Elizabeth was a wonderful hostess and greeted us with cheesecake and a bottle of wine! The cottage was clean and just as described. We had a short walk to shops and restaurants, and the gazebo at the back of the property was a lovely and private spot to sit and enjoy the lake. We had a relaxing stay and hope to return soon.

Nice location, the town is walkable from the cottage and is a short drive to other Chautauqua sites. Great host, very attentive, thoughtful and easy to communicate with. Comfortable and clean cottage. We enjoyed our stay!

Elizabeth provided a beautiful setting for our trip. The Rosebud cottage was immaculate, charming and well appointed. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings overlooking the beautiful grounds and evenings watching the sunset in the lakeside gazebo. Our thoughtful hostess provided a nice wine and cheese display upon check in, too! We look forward to returning next year !

We had a wonderful weekend in Rosebud Cottage. The kitchen is very well stocked and the quality of the furnishings is top notch. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed watching sunsets over the lake. It's a easy walk into town where there are some great places to eat. If you want a very relaxing, comfortable place to stay, this is the cottage for you.

My boyfriend and I spent 4 nights at the Rosebud cottage. The cottage and surrounding grounds exceeded our expectations. The cottage was exceptionally clean and was in perfect condition. We were within a few minutes of good restaurants, golf course, beautiful hiking trails and bike paths. After our active days, it was so enjoyable to stroll down to the lakefront and watch the boats go by. This made the vacation one of the most peaceful times we've had. The cottage is very nice and Liz is a super attentive property owner. The kitchen has everything you will need. There is a nice gazebo near the lake, however if you are looking to have easy access to be on or in the water, that’s not the set up. The price is reasonable for the quality of the property and I would stay again.

My husband and I came for 4 nights because we had never visited Lake Chautauqua. The little house is exactly as pictured but what is not clear from the photos is the beautiful wooded and private piece of land between the house and the lake. It is a lovely shaded area with a charming old pump house and a small pond which ends at the lakefront with a gazebo outfitted with a table and 2 chairs. We had picnic lunches and even a dinner in the lovely gazebo overlooking the lake with spectacular sunsets. The house has lovely artwork, great air conditioning, a very comfortable bed and it absolutely spotless. The owner was friendly and helpful in every way. A real bonus is being able to walk out for dinner in the village.

This is our second visit and we'll be back again. Easy checkin/checkout. Very nice clean cottage with wine, cheese, and other goodies when we arrived. Communication with Elizabeth was great as always. Several nice places to visit in town, including the golf course across the street.

We truly enjoyed our stay in the Rosebud Cottage in July! The cottage is very well appointed, perfect size, clean, and comfortable. The lovely basket of goodies and handwritten welcome were a nice personal touch. Couldn’t beat the location, walking distance to so many restaurants and activities, yet private and back off the road, with access to lovely grounds and the lake. We are already looking to schedule for a week again next summer.

The RoseBud Cottage is a perfect place to stay for a little vacation! It delivers what the name suggests...a sort of magical getaway for two. The cottage is new and nicely decorated with all the comforts of home. The property is expansive and beautiful, with Lake Chautauqua directly out the back door, a short stroll away. Out the front door, a sidewalk on Main Street, leads directly into the town of Bemus Point. The cottage is set in a wooded area, with lovely trees around it, but also close enough to walk to The Bemus Point Inn for breakfast, or to the shops and restaurants in town. My husband and I thoroughly relaxed in this serene setting. Elizabeth Flower is a wonderful hostess, and enjoys sharing this sweet cottage with others.
