Breakers West, Unit B-1 is a spacious, two bedroom, two bathroom residence at the highly sought after Breakers West community that's only 100 yards to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico! Less than a 2 minute walk - we've timed it!
This non-smoking condo has tons to offer. Two bedrooms, two full baths - both bathrooms fully renovated in the last year! A fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and everything guests need to make themselves at home. In-condo laundry room with full size washer and dryer. Unlimited wi-fi included. Beach chairs, beach towels, and umbrella are all provided for guest use. The master bedroom has a king bed, the guest bedroom has two twin beds, and both bedrooms have TVs. The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa and flat screen TV. And guests can relax on the lanai overlooking the pool and lush green landscaping. Being an end unit, B-1 has extra windows allowing tons of extra sunlight.
Breakers West is sure to impress through it's immaculately kept condition and fantastic location and amenities. It is a three story building with only 18 privately owned condos nestled among palm trees and hibiscus on beautifully manicured grounds. Its limited number of units and location on West Gulf Drive contributes to an uncrowded and relaxing vacation. The complex offers a heated swimming pool, BBQ grills and is conveniently located very close to the bike paths of Sanibel. And don't forget to check out the stars on the beautiful rooftop deck!

Host is also available by phone, text, or email and is very responsive to any questions you may have about things to do, places to eat, or any other concerns.
No smoking allowed indoors, on our lanai, or anywhere except in the property's designated smoking area. We cannot accommodate pets per the rules of the condo association.

Great location and great accommodations. Owners were very responsive when contacted. Only recommendation is to have someone balance the A/C for the bedrooms. Bedrooms seem warmer than other parts of the property.

My wife and I booked Breakers West B1 on our first trip back to Sanibel after Ian. We were not disappointed. The unit was exceptionally clean and well-equipped and steps to the pool and beach in one of our favorite parts of the island. Only a short ride to the Ding Darling Preserve as well. Our hosts were quick to respond to any questions or concerns. While signs of Ian's destruction were evident nearby and throughout Sanibel, including to a nearby condo where we used to stay, recovery was also evident. On the downside, the no-see-ums were aggressive so bring some spray! Other than that, we had a great stay in a wonderful unit!

The property was clean, easy to find and absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and it was great that each bedroom has its own bathroom. The beach was private and a 2 min walk away and the sunset was breathtaking. I wish our whole trip was spent here.

Everything is new and very clean, beautiful beach, very calming, and comfortable. My family loved this vacation spot, the beach super close to the apartment complex, and has an amazing sunset. Overall a 10/10.😀

We spent a lovely spring break at Breakers West with our seven-year old. The island is still very much rebuilding after the hurricane, and it was sad to see the damage the area has gone through and certain places that will likely never come back. The rebuilding included our own unit. When we arrived, there were not covers on one switch and two outlets. It took a few days for the owner to get someone to take care of that. The main light switches also lacked their toggles so you had to reach into the switch a little to turn them on or off. That was not fixed during our week-long stay.
To be clear, the owner responded VERY quickly to any messages we sent, which was appreciated. The owner also told us the the space had been repainted recently and that we were only their second rental since the hurricane, so the issues are understandable. Hopefully they will be able to get it resolved soon. The parking lot was being recovered while we were there and so there was not yet any signs for where to park (but we figured it out).
Other residents and visitors were very friendly and we spent a good deal of time in the pool. It was kept very hot and so another guest asked one of the maintenance people if they could turn it down a few degrees, which they did. Afterwards it was better, but still pretty warm for swimming in weather in the low to mid 70s (the water felt warmer than the air)
What we loved was the smaller size of this condo building, which made for a more intimate experience.

We stayed 4 nights in unit B1. The apartment was very clean, updated, bright. Nicely appointed kitchen, although we didn’t cook a lot. We ate all our meals on the screened in balcony that also had a ceiling fan (take-out). There are beach chairs and a beach umbrella. The beach access is private and takes about 2 minutes to walk from your door to dipping your toes in the ocean! The pool is also very clean and it is hidden behind some palm trees. So when you’re sitting on your balcony, you don’t really see it. We went 3 times and were the only ones there. It’s about a mile to Bailey’s general store and Billy’s bike rentals. You are close to Tarpon Bay Explorers and Ding National Wildlife Refuge. Sanibel is a beautiful and quiet island and our stay at Breakers West was perfect. I would definitely stay there again.

I think we found our new place to stay!
The condo was nice, clean and only a short distance from the beach. The owner communicated with us about construction that might happen during our stay. It didn't bother us at all.
We were all very pleased and will definitely look into booking here again on our next Sanibel trip.

Family Tradition
This is our seventh straight year going to Sanibel for our summer vacation in July. We have always stayed at Breakers West, but this is our first year staying in B1. The apartment was very clean & nicely updated. The apartment had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Great communication with the owners, and check-in & check-out process was a breeze. We will definitely look for this unit again next year. Great family memories!

This condo could not have been any more perfect for our stay! When we arrived, the condo was spotless & everything was easily accessible.
We took a girl's trip, there were 5 of us & it was the perfect space for us & very comfortable. We were all blown away by the amenities available inside the condo. Two coffee makers, toaster, fridge, washer, dryer, blow driers, & television were all used on our trip but what really stood out to us was all of the beach items that were available! 5 backpack style chairs were comfortable to wear & sit in at the short walk to the beach. There was a small cooler, beach mats, nets, sand toys, etc. as well. We LOVED the chairs & nets & found many, many treasures at the beach!
We also utilized the pool a couple of times during our stay. Again, it was a great amenity to have steps away from the condo.
The host was also very thoughtful & warned that the parking lot was under construction before we arrived. To our surprise, they never worked on the parking lot while we were there so we didn't have to hear the equipment or struggle with the construction dust. The host was also very quick to respond to questions.

Loved our time here with our 2 young kids. Very nice 2 bdrm’s and 2 bath’s, nice pool right outside and 100 yard walk down a nice sandy trail to the beach. Perfect family getaway and we will certainly be back.

Amazing accommodations!
We had an amazing stay! Aside from being in a perfect location to the beach and town, Jill and Lance's rental was lovely! The space was very clean, well stocked and beds were comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened in lanai and the pool. Check in was easy and communication with Jill and Lance was great. Could not have wished for anything more for our Sanibel get-away!

This unit was in a great location and there was only one other property between us and the beach. There was an easy access path directly to the beach - 2 minute walk. Chairs, sunscreen and other beach items were provided. I would definitely stay here again.

Okay. Just Okay
The kitchen and bathrooms were updated, and fine. The rest of the house was "dated". The upholstered furniture is very old and uncomfortable. The carpet in the bedrooms needs to be replaced. The bed linens are old. There was a general "mustiness" in the air. Finally there is only one assigned parking space on the property necessitating that a second couple would and did have to find parking almost a mile away in a public parking lot. Definitely a one couple unit.

Great location, short walk to the beach making it easy to come back for lunch and return for the fabulous sunsets. Best equipped kitchen of the many VRBO’s we have rented. Nice lanai, great primary bathroom, entire condo was spotless and even great beach chairs. Communication was easy and responses were quick.

Great time in paradise!
This was our second stay (2019 previously) at this property and we really enjoyed our time. The check in process was smooth and easy as the key pickup is on the way to the property. The condo was clean and their were umbrellas, chairs, etc. for us to use on the beach. The condo is located close to wonderful nature preserves which we took advantage of on multiple occasions. One thing I was not aware of prior to this second trip was the access to the Waterside Inn which prevented from renting their bikes or using any of their amenities. Other than that we loved our stay and look forward to returning again!

Property nice clean. Picture from roof or deck misleading no view of ocean. Easy walk to beach. Beaches pretty but picture of couple on beach misleading no walking space during high tide If beach goers out. Or you are jumping over bodies. Beware of parking when the owner tells you you have one designated spot for your unit they mean there are absolutely no other spots for a second vehicle to park anywhere on the property. No guest spots and nowhere to create a space without breaking fire code. Reached out to owner by email prior to refund deadline but did not get a response and assumed parking would be fine since I told her we would need to bring a second vehicle since my son in law had to travel from military base. Also no response from owner when I called on arrival to help with our dilemma. If I had known I would have canceled and booked elsewhere. Property management was very empathetic and offered some assistance. If you only need 1 car and don’t care about no view this is a well appointed clean condo. Comfortable beds and provide everything you need to start your stay. I would recommend this condo if you are aware of parking and no view issue. Beach is still pretty and accessible as tide goes out

Wow! Our stay at this property was amazing. The property and condo were clean and very comfortable. The beds were comfy, the screened-in porch was perfect for relaxing on, the kitchen was well stocked. We were impressed with all of it. Incidentally, the owners have beach chairs and umbrellas, and beach towels for guests to use - what a wonderful touch! There is a very short private path that opens up to a magical stretch of beach. Each time we walked the path, the view of the beach took our breath away. Vacation perfection.

Great Stay
As a family we decided to get to the beach for a long weekend. We never stayed at a vacation rental before. This one did not disappoint. It was clean and just as described. It was a short walk to the beautiful beach and we got to enjoy the nice warm pool. Restaurants and stores were a short 5-10 minutes drive. It was a great first experience with a VRBO.
