About this cottage rental
Due to a city Ordinance in town restricting parking, we have chosen to move the parsonage to a minimum 29 night rental with a liberal refund policy. This benefits our guests by reducing the per night cost to stay in this wonderful town! Our Historic mountain home was built in 1868. Formerly an Episcopal Parsonage, this home has old world charm combined with modern conveniences. Relax in the fenced backyard and enjoy a gorgeous mountain view or take a two minute walk to Georgetown's historic main street where you can shop and dine. You are a stones throw from Guanella Pass (US Route 285) and only a short 15 minute drive from Loveland's ski area. Cinemount Studios in Denver shot scenes inside and out of the Parsonage for their movie "For the Living".

We had a wonderful stay at Jim's place in Georgetown. My fiance and I came out to ski all season, and this spot was perfect for what we needed. The town itself is so wonderful - lots of friendly locals, beautiful hikes, and fun restaurants. Our house itself was even better than expected! Very spacious, tons of character. Jim was super easy to connect with and extremely welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Our family of seven (plus our dog) had a wonderful month-long stay in this sweet and cozy house! It feels much bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside, and was spotlessly clean on our arrival. The high speed internet worked great. We felt right at home, and we absolutely loved Georgetown. Jim was kind enough to provide us with suggestions of things to do and explore. Our kids loved walking to the library to pick up books, playing on the great town playground, and we all enjoyed the hiking available right from town, as well as all the scenic beauty within such a short drive - Guanella Pass, Mount Evans! The Georgetown Loop railroad was fun, seeing the bighorn sheep in town was a real treat, too. The rec center in Idaho Springs has a great pool with large water slides, a lazy river, a sauna, and a zero-entry pool for little ones. We weren't ready to leave when it was time to head back home!

Our family of 5 adults and 1 child stayed in this home for a spring break ski trip. The home is within walking distance of several nice Georgetown restaurants and a couple of fun parks. We prepared all breakfasts and lunches, plus one dinner, in the kitchen with no problems. We had no problems parking across the street, really just a few steps from the front door. The house was comfortable and charming and well-located for a Loveland ski trip.

The property was wonderful. Beautiful and well maintained! The backyard was lovely and had all the amenities needed for a very comfortable stay. The basement was pretty creepy, but thankfully we had strong men staying with us and had no need to go down there :) The property management team was very informative about the property and super responsive to questions.
We loved our stay in Georgetown!

The house is a nice antique, bigger than it looks from the outside. We used it as a base to ski a couple of days at Loveland (20 minutes) and to do some sightseeing in the area. Georgetown is a funky little town, a bit sleepy, with good food. Overall a very good experience and I would recommend the Parsonage to a friend.

enjoyed our stay with a lot of historic settings inside and outside the property. Kids, families and the dog enjoyed every day of stay at this property. Two minutes walk to Georgetown down, easy access to ski resorts and all other winter activities.
