Enjoy your time on the Island while staying in our beautiful loft located above Galveston's historic Star Drug Store! Nestled in Galveston's premiere Art District you will be a stone's throw away from chic boutiques, local galleries, tasty restaurants and exciting nightlife. The Star Drug loft is a short drive from Galveston's beaches, the Pleasure Pier amusement area and historic tourist attractions.

Our spacious open loft can accommodate up to four guests, all of whom will enjoy a peaceful sleep in this quiet downtown neighborhood. Contemporary amenities like granite counters and comfortable living meet the vintage charms of yesterday. This loft includes a full kitchen and laundry (washer/dryer included) amenities as well as complimentary Wi-Fi and Netflix TV.

This loft is accessible through a private entrance and stairway above the Star Drug Store. Travelers keep in mind this historic property does not have an elevator. Downtown Galveston streets are an enforced pay for parking area, but free parking and reasonable paid lots are only one block away.

Location, location. Short walk to Strand and countless points of interest and unlimited dining options. Beautifully updated high ceiling, fully furnished open space above Historic Star Drug. Although we could have prepared meals in the full kitchen, we elected to have breakfast downstairs both mornings; food and staff were great! Two notes of caution; it is a walkup (24 steps) and premium dining establishments require trousers....lol.

The Loft was exactly as pictured and the Owner was the nicest lady and her restaurant downstairs was wonderful. We will definitely be going back and we have already told some friends about it.

We truly enjoyed our stay in Galveston Memorial Weekend. It all started with staying at the Loft and meeting Natili!!! The loft was exactly as described online and better. Very easy to get to and Natili made the experience even better. I 100% recommend staying here for a great weekend trip. Plus the Star Drug Store below is awesome. Food is great and love everyone working there. I would give this place 10 Stars!!! Thank you Natili for letting us stay and have such a great time.

Everything was wonderful. We parked and didn't have to use vehicle during our stay. We were able to walk to anything around the Strand. The loft is in a great location,above Star Drug. We ate there 2 times during the stay. Natili has a great place,very clean and comfortable. And shes pretty darn awesome herself. We will be staying again.

Star Drug has long been a favorite place to grab a good breakfast before getting on a ship to cruise. Found out that there were two lofts to rent upstairs and had to try it out. Location, location, location. Everything that doesn’t include sand is within a short walk from the loft. Bars, dining and shopping are all just a short troll away.

This place is very nice. It is beautiful and clean and charming. It has a great location to great botique shopping, restaurants and bars. Only drawback is that the bed is located right by the windows and there is a LOT of activity at night in this area. You can hear everything all night. If you are a light sleeper, you may be kept awake.

Typically, we stay annually at The Tremont House but since the recent renovations, we were not impressed and the room rates went up tremendously! We have always eaten at The Star Drug Store and were intrigued by a beautiful loft located above the restaurant! Needless to say, we were very impressed with this beautiful loft and accommodations! Street parking was super convenient right outside our door, walking distance to many restaurants, shopping and attractions on The Strand! The property was beautifully decorated, provided many amenities and the host, Natili was amazing! She is very attentive to detail and made sure our "first time" stay was not only memorable but

We only stayed for 2 nights but had a wonderful time. Everything is within walking distance. It was immaculate from a cleaning perspective, decor was excellent, loved the high tiled ceilings and AC with ceiling fans kept you very cool. We will definitely go again.

This loft was so incredible! It’s located above the Old Star Drug Store. We had breakfast there every morning before heading out to see the sites. It’s in a Perfect location, and it’s such a comfortable stay. Natili was a dream host! Don’t look any further - We will be back! Donna Guttenberger

If you are looking for a place to stay in Galveston, look no further. This was easily the best, most comfortable and most convenient place my wife and I have ever stayed at. The pictures, as impressive as they are, do not do it justice. As soon as you walk in you will know you made a good decision. The loft is quiet, the bed is comfortable, there is ample spare linens, the bathroom is clean and well stocked with clean towels, and the kitchen is very functional/nice. Additionally, you are literally on top of a fabulous breakfast/lunch restaurant, and within walking distance of all the shopping, eating, coffee sipping or antiquing your heart could desire. The host is attentive and responsive, and the check in process/ parking availability was a breeze. Seriously, this is a hidden gem. Stay here if you can, you will be so pleased.

This place is perfect for a trip to Galveston. Very close to downtown and East beach. The loft was much more comfortable than a hotel and was very quiet. Natili is a great communicator and made us feel very welcome. The food downstairs is pretty darn good too. We will be staying again!

A delightful, impeccably maintained, super well-situated suite that could not be better for enjoying some of the best parts of wonderful Galveston! We really enjoyed being able to experience many of the local venues, walking tours and the harbor with just a short walk from the space. And don't miss the Star Drugs diner downstairs and a chance to meet the host! Highly recommended!
