We loved this house! It was beautiful and just right for our group of 6. The location to restaurants, stores, activities, and the lake was ideal. I would highly recommend staying here if you enjoy all the amenities and ideal location that this house has to offer.

Recently rented this home to stay for a nearby family wedding in Friendsville, MD. Home was very nice and in a great location. Some minor cleanliness issues upon arrival that have been reported to Vacasa. Very peaceful and quiet, short distance to shopping center and necessities. Enjoyable stay.

Great location it's close to stores, restaurants and Deep Creek Lake. Cozy wooded back yard and wrap around porch. Plenty of kitchenware, parking spaces and enough space in the house for everyone to be comfortable. We had no issues during our 2 night stay and easy check-out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We came with two other couples and each of us has our own floor with bedroom and full bath which was great. Enjoyed having pool table and wrap around porch with furniture to enjoy sitting outside. Will definitely stay here if we visit area again.

Our group of 3 couples really enjoyed our stay. The set up was ideal with a bedroom and full bath on each floor for each couple. The space was very comfortable and conducive to allow for lots of gathering and socializing together (though the kitchen is very tight). We enjoyed the outdoor deck a lot and appreciated the covered space to be able to enjoy even as it rained. The wooded setting was so private and peaceful. We could hear the party in the cabin next door but only a few times and for brief periods. We loved being able to walk down the road to the stores/shops. There is a well equipped grocery store to meet all of your needs and we really liked the large gift shop with lots to offer. There are some good restaurants very nearby too. We didn't realize, however, that there is no public access to the lake in this area and it requires a significant drive to access it. While the indoors were very clean, everything outside was covered in dirt, pollen, and cobwebs so we had to clean it all ourselves before we could use it. The hot tub was very nice and provided a great place to relax. We appreciated that linens were provided though some additional towels and dishtowels would have been helpful. Be aware that any issues are handled by a large national management company that doesn't really know the property so they weren't able to really offer much assistance such as understanding that the door lock times out which makes it challenging to enter a 10 digit code.

The property in question accurately matched the description provided by Vacasa. Its location on the mountain offered a picturesque view of the slopes, while also being conveniently situated near a grocery store, restaurants, and Wisp Resort. The house itself was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, as depicted in the photographs. We anticipate another enjoyable stay at this property next year.

We loved everything about this house. The home is located very close to the slopes, an awesome bakery/coffee shop and grocery store. The size of the home was great with multiple areas for family/friends to stretch out, including the main level and lower level. I loved how the bedrooms were all spread out, with 2 bedrooms upstairs, one bedroom on the main floor and one on the bottom floor. The downstairs is like it's own apartment with an area for visiting and watching TV, as well as a pool table. The downstairs also steps out onto the bottom porch, hot tub and fire pit. We enjoyed using the amenities of 5 Little Acorns when we were not on the slopes, including the hot tub, pool table and fire pit. The home is in a development, however, each home is on it's own large lot with plenty of woods for privacy. There are plenty of large windows, giving a view of the slopes and wooded areas, plenty of outdoor porch spaces for outdoor entertainment, and plenty of televisions in each living space and bedroom. Overall the place was nice. It was very nicely decorated for the season. The attention to detail with regards to the theme was outstanding. We did however encounter several issues within the property that were not appreciated and if I had known of these issues I would have booked elsewhere. Firstly, I contacted the property ahead of time to ensure certain features would be available such as hot tub and grill. The hot tub was functional but the grill was not. I was told to buy a propane tank which I did. Upon inspection of said grill, there was ALREADY a propane tank however the grill's pilot did not light. It was inoperable and the tank itself was $80 which clearly was a waste. When I contacted the property regarding this issue they were not helpful at all. Another very big issue was that the full bathroom on the main level was inoperable as well. This is a huge problem as you might suspect. Not everyone on the trip knew each other and we were expecting 3 full bathrooms and was only able to use 2 of them. Again when I contacted the host, they were not helpful and provided no resolution to our issues. In addition to these very problematic issues, the fireplace on the main level also was inoperable. It really was frustrating that every single day of the trip we found a different issue which brought our rating down significantly. It was most frustrating that the hosts did not attempt to rectify any of these issues or address them at all. Check out is way too early also. Bad time

Plenty of space in the cabin. They had a lot of cute details like their dinner wear. The kitchen was fully equipped and then some! Wi-fi was excellent. We really enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The cabin has been well taken care of- including the grounds. We most enjoyed the wrap around porch. It’s really close to groceries and restaurants which was so convenient. I would book this cabin again.

This house is just beautiful and in a very quiet location surrounded by trees. Our family of our children and grandchildren had plenty of room to spread out for quiet time, but also had a lovely open concept kitchen and living area for games and spending time just being together.
The location is such that it is secluded and yet we were only about .2 miles from Perkins pancakes and a grocery store. There was also a Fun Zone that the grandkids enjoyed nearby.
Everyone in our family agreed that this was the best house we have rented for our family vacations!

The place was great. We did call about the upper bathroom shower door that was loose from the fringe. We understood someone was coming to take a look yet no one ever came during our stay.

perfect cabin for a short 4 night stay with 2 families, 8 people. pool, hot tub, TVs, and just overall cozy ambiance, makes for a great home away from home during a ski trip. highly recommend, and i will only stay here in the future when going to wisp to ski!

Property had wonderful amenities as we enjoyed pool table , hot tub and wrap around decks…kitchen well stocked with all needed utensils….good heat and water pressure for showers.
Our main complaint was cleanliness as the first casserole dish, wine glass and soup bowl I pulled out of cupboard were all dirty. Also, it was unusually cold with a snow dusting and the fireplace in living room did not work…it took two days for anyone to even come to look at it and discover it needed a part to he ordered….the fireplace would have added a lot to ambiance.

We loved the home and all the amenities; hot tub, fire pit, and grill. Grill was not clean though. We used foil to cover it. Hair dryer was listed as an amenity, but we had to call to get one, because there was not one in the cabin. Enjoyed the cabin very much. It was very comfortable and we also enjoyed the pool table in the basement. The cabin was a short 4.5 mile drive to Deep Creek Lake which we enjoyed a lot. Visited the lake for swimming, fishing, and also the Discovery Center and aviary. Really liked Ace’s Run restaurant and pub. It was pricier, but worth it. Also tried Archie’s BBQ and the food was good. A grocery store, Shop and Save is in the same community as the cabin. You can also drive to Walmart which is within 10 miles. Really enjoyed having coffee on the wrap around porch. We had a good time.

The property was equipped with all the essentials and then some . Located in a small wooded neighborhood and close proximity to all that Deep Creek Offers. We even got to see a momma bear and her cub up close wandering through the neighborhood! We had a wonderful week with our grown children and two grandsons! Looking forward to the next trip!!

This is my first time using Vacasa or any other service like this so I didn’t really know what to expect. Great experience! The house was clean and just what I expected, cozy and cabin like yet spacious. What I didn’t expect was the amazing porch. I had coffee out back every morning and it was my favorite part of the house. This house is big, probably more than we needed for four adults and two kids but it felt great to be able to spread out. Even with all the thousands of properties to explore, I am very tempted to rent this exact house again next year.

Enjoyable stay
Overall, our stay was enjoyable. The house had everything we needed. We had an issue with the air conditioning when we first arrived, but we communicated with the management company and it was resolved the next morning. However, the issue left the bedroom in the basement unusable, so we had to rearrange our sleeping arrangements. Fortunately, there was enough space to do this. The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed the hot tub.

Great Cabin in a Great Location
My husband and I stayed at the property for a long weekend. The cabin is very clean and spacious. My particular favorite are the large floor-to-ceiling windows that provide a great view. The location is a great place to stay if you want to explore surrounding parks. We are hikers, and we were very pleased that there are many hiking options within a short driving distance of the cabin (many of which also offer cross country skiing in the winter.) Stores that you might want/need are all close by such as grocery, coffee, beer/wine, etc. The location is also great for exploring surrounding areas such as Oakland. The property management company was very responsive to minor questions/needs we had. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

We are very pleased with our stay here. The house was very clean, cozy, and spacious. We loved the deck, nice place to hang out with friends. The yard space and privacy was great to play cornhole and jenga. Great firepit with the hot tub nearby. Overall, just a great place.

Loved staying at this place, just what we all needed. Wish so much we could have stayed longer. It was so peaceful and quiet. Went with adult children and SO’s. Lots of space. I think if there had been a lounge chair on the porch I would have napped there every day. The weather was perfect too! Can’t wait to come back!

Deep Creek Lake
The house was very nice and clean. I didn’t like the noise the bed frame in the master bedroom. It was very noisy anytime we rolled over. The knives, pots and pans are older and rusty. We had to buy our own pans and knives to cook. There should also be a sign on the refrigerator not to load everything at once. We had to take everything out and wait 6-7 hours for the refrigerator to get cold.
