Please Note: The Villages of Wisp is a quiet family-oriented townhouse community located on the WISP ski slopes. Parking spaces are limited to a maximum of TWO (2) vehicles per unit. No exceptions. No trailers, RVs, boats, personal water vessels or buses permitted in the designated parking areas. Failure to abide by this rule may result in towing. Quiet Time begins at 11:00 pm to 8:00 am and includes turning off exterior flood and cafe lights.

Great weekend getaway with friends for a wedding. Location was wonderful and the condo was clean and easy to check in to.

My family really enjoyed the weekend at this property. It had more than enough room for our family of 5 (plus our pooch) including a large basement with extra beds and a bathroom that the kids more used as a play area since we did not need the extra space. The location is super convenient as you can park super close to the unit and it is close to the slopes (FYI it sits near black diamonds just in case you need to know that for young skiing kids). Unfortunately, mother nature did not give us enough snow to enjoy skiing like we planned. The unit is stocked fairly OK with a starter kit. Be sure to bring some essentials like Oil, salt and pepper, extra toilet paper, etc. The few little issues we noticed were the Roku for the first floor TV was resetting non-stop where it was not usable so luckily I brought our own firestick and used that on the main TV instead during our stay. Another thing to note is this unit seemed to have a very small hot water tank. On the first night, 2 of my daughters showered at the same time using 2 bathrooms and it ran out of hot water so the rest of us could not shower after that. The second night, we deliberately staggered the showers and showered one person at a time as well and that seemed to work out OK. Lastly, the view from the hot tub at night was awesome! We could see the moon, stars, the mountain and the lake all at once! Luckily, no one around us were using their hot tubs near us as it is not the most private to the surrounding units :).

We stayed here in the middle of the summer – August, one of the hottest summer months. The location was great.
Overall, the house was nice and clean however, there was NO AIR CONDITIONING… AC is literally listed as one of the amenities.
I looked at other locations and most rentals had “Disclaimers” where it truthfully read “WARNING NO AC”… So, advertising this place as having AC is just wrong. When we walked in the house it was - no joke - 85 degrees.
The 2 top level rooms did have their own plug in AC units. (Lucky them.) Their rooms did cool down. The basement was also listed as having an AC unit like the bedrooms upstairs… NOPE! It was just a plug-in fan… I didn’t know a fan was considered an AC unit… Fun fact, it’s not. A fan does not change the temperature of the room – it just blows the hot air around…Needless to say we were not happy about that. We would not have stayed here if we knew this was going to be the case… I feel that it is very sneaky to have this place listed as having AC because it literally doesn’t. The main floor living area just had a ceiling fan. It was a hot, rough few days to say the least, especially when you’re cooking in the kitchen. (Luckily, we only did that twice.) If you do not fare well in the heat stay away or stay here during the winter…

Great Vacation Spot
Everything was great, the house was clean and it was in a great spot for recreational activities. It was in June so it was hot without air conditioning on the middle floor.

The upstairs balcony door did not have a screen so that room did get a little toasty with no AC. Hot tub was perfect for chilling at night. Views were beautiful and such a quiet neighborhood. Would love to stay this winter so we can ski in/ski out. I would recommend bringing some of your own cookware. Didn’t have a frying pan which made making breakfast somewhat challenging but we managed!
