Gorgeous apartment in a prime location

The apartment was beautiful, modern and very clean - spotless. The bed was large and comfortable, and the apartment had everything we needed during our stay. The location was perfect, just a few minutes from the river and close to everything we wanted to do. João was a fantastic host, we went to several restaurants that he recommended and they were all amazing. He was very helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

A full length mirror would be good but this is only a minor detail

Gut für den kurzen Aufenthalt

Die Lage war sehr gut, gute ausgestattete Küche, gute WLAN, gute Tipps vom Besitzer über Einkauf, Restaurants, usw

Viele Treppenstufen bis zum Aufzug, der nur in Zwischengeschossen hält. Keine Einbauheizung, nur Heizlüfter, die die Wohnung nicht richtig warm halten.

We had a great time.

It was very clean and comfortable. Everything was modern . It’s close to all bars, restaurants and the river.

The only thing we found not so good was there were so many steps to walk up to to reach the elevator to the apartment. My husband had a bad knee so that was difficult. Plus a microwave in the kitchen would have been handy .

The best location and the best host !

그냥 고민말고 이곳으로 결정하셔요! 위치 너무 좋고 호텔보다 더 깨끗하고 넓은데다가 싱크대와 조리도구까지 모두 완벽히 준비되어있어요! 이번 여행에서 가장 저렴하게 예약한 숙소인데 오히려 가장 만족한 숙소였습니다 <3

에어컨이 없는데 저는 머무는동안 크게 덥지 않아서 준비된 선풍기로도 괜찮았습니다 :)

Really glad we booked this cosy apartment, loved it!

Amazing location and plenty of space! The host was really helpful in helping us get back an item that we left there by accident. We also loved the balconies.

The italian coffee maker didn’t work despite lots of effort - a shame as we love morning coffee.

Central location, large apartment ideal for solo or little families, fully equipped with modern appliances, and nicely decorated. Host super friendly and prompt in giving help and suggestions

The apartment is quite dark because it is in between other buildings, however with lamps you can light it up sufficiently

Superb apartment. we had enjoyed our stay and will be returning to stay here again in the future.

property is right in a very good location. a few minutes stroll down to the river and less than 10 mins (slow) walk to Sao Bento train station and other main attractions. the view from the apartment is amazing which made our stay very special. Lift in the building is a bonus as we were on the 4th floor. the room is very clean and has all the basic things we need during our stay. The pre arrival information that we received from João had been useful. He is very prompt with providing answers to all of our questions too.

Very good

The location CANNOT be best. Someone in the middle of everything and easy to get to. Very easy to get a bolt. We were a family of 4, two kids slept on the pull out couch comfortably. Lots of great restaurants and wine bars near by.

The internet was WEIRD! We had service but some websites appeared to be blocked, for example CNN.com, NPR and oddly enough air bnb and booking.com app did not refresh which was why we didn't receive messages from the host asking if we have checked in. My husband had to work and had some difficultly accessing some databases. If you need to do any work during your time here, I would not recommend this location. Otherwise perfectly nice place to stay.

Great location and nice apartment unit.

The location was fantastic! Right near the waterfront and half a block from the Stock Exchange building, it was perfect for us. Restaurants, bakeries, wine tasting, etc. right outside the door. We parked the rental car in a garage and walked everywhere. Apartment was fine for a couple or single person, might be a bit small with kids. The host was extremely responsive and super helpful with dinner reservations, markets, things to do, much appreciated! Instructions on entering the unit were terrific, simple and well explained.

The apartment does tend to get warm/humid and the only cooling was a fan that we moved into the bedroom. It worked ok, but wasn’t ideal.

Great location, very well set up, professional staff

Great location near Ribeira but not as busy. We had the back (“Traseiras”) apartment so it was quiet. Easy check in and out. Professional and friendly staff. very nicely set up, all kitchen basics. Fast Wi-Fi which is great if you need to work from there.

Would be nice if there was an air conditioner, but they do have a fan

Excellent apartment in the city center

If you want to live in the city center, then the apartment is just perfect. Very clean, with a comfortable mattress, close to all the attractions of this area, and what was hard to believe, you can not hear the noise from the streets, the windows face inward, so only seagulls are heard. Very comfortable shower, with lots of light in the bathroom.

We liked everything, but the Porto, in general, has become quite expensive and apartment rentals too, which is a bit surprising when you find out the average salaries of people in Porto, we don’t know how the Portuguese can afford this life, but this area is more tourist-oriented. So we found this district too noisy for people who want to contemplate the beauty of the parks, river, or ocean and the architecture of the city. But in any case, we really enjoyed our trip.

Fabolous stay in heart of Porto

Amazing apartment for a stay in Porto. There could not be better location - right in the heart of city, 5-7 minutes walking to riverside. I choose it because of location which was near everything but on the same side since windows are not facing street, it is calm during night for a good rest. As I very light sleeper I can assure sleeping was nice and calm. apartment itself was very clear and spacious with all amenities you would need (shower essentials, several blankets, good pillows to choose from). I did not use the kitchen but everything was available for cooking. check in was sufficient and host was available if ever needed. I do highly recommend this place.

Fantastic location, close to everything and spacious.

The location cannot be beaten, 6 minutes walk to Sao Bento metro, 1 minute walk to Ribeira, close to Dom Luis bridge, close to most of the port houses, walking distance to Clerigos Tower & Livraria Lello, less than a minute from Rua das Flores, Praça da Liberdade is about 8 minutes walk away. There's a great little cafe 10 seconds walk away at the top of the street Confeitaria Sao Domingos, which serves great coffee, cakes, pastries, croissants and is perfect for breakfast. Plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes within walking distance, despite being a touristic area, there are several traditional Portuguese restaurants within 15 minutes walk, that serve food at very decent prices (we prefer places where locals go, rather than some pretentious hip n' trendy place without atmosphere or personality). For any covid testing required, there is a pharmacy just off Praça da Liberdade called Farmacia Birra, where they offer covid testing for travel, and give you LFD results within 10 minutes. The flat is super quiet and spacious, and the bed is super comfortable, it's super quiet at night when you want to sleep. There is a stovetop and a microwave (with grilling settings) for cooking meals. Joao is very friendly and helpful and responds almost immediately. I honestly cannot think of a negative.

No fault of Joao's, but just be aware that there might be mosquitos depending on the time of year you visit. I only got bitten 3 times during the entire stay (I normally get bitten daily and many times) but with skin so soft and by using the fan during the night, it was fine!

Oporto in January

Very nice place! The Apartment is located into the center of Porto, 10mins walk from Metro and just five minutes to Cais Da Ribeira! Apartment is very quiet, comfortable and clean. Ribera Oporto host was very kind and friendly. Thanks!
