This gorgeous mountain home has all the best Tahoe City has to offer – an ideal West Shore location with short distances to town, the beach, and the bike path. This three-level, bright and airy house has beautiful views from the living room, kitchen, back deck, and bedrooms of the surrounding forest and stunning Lake Tahoe. The deck has a gas BBQ, patio table, and plenty of chairs for entertaining friends, while inside offers lots of gathering spaces for your vacationing needs.

The living room has a flat screen TV (Streaming only) and a wood burning fireplace along with a game table with a cozy lake view seating area just off of the living room. The open,well equipped kitchen with bar and stools overlooking the living room is perfect for entertaining. It has stainless steel appliances and is stocked with modern kitchen conveniences. The dining room table seats six, with two additional kings chairs and a leaf to extend the table for guests. There is also a half bathroom on living room level for your convenience. The kitchen and family rooms are located on the main level with hardwood floors and stone throughout.

The home offers three bedrooms all situated on the second level as well as access to the hottub on the deck off of the main master bedroom. There is a smaller room located downstairs that can serve as a fourth bedroom or playroom for kids.

Rm#1: King Suite has flat screen TV, small deck with lake views, and jetted tub with a separate shower. Access to hottub on lower deck.
Rm#2: Twin bunk on top and Full/queen bed on bottom with bathroom across the hallway.
Rm#3: King Suite with private bathroom.
Smaller bonus Rm#4: Bunk bed with two twins and laundry room off of it.

The home has a total of three levels with hardwood floors, carpet and hydronic heated stone throughout. A wonderfully decorated home. Come enjoy the house and the access to the Tahoe Park HOA amenities (private and gated beach, pier, picnic and games areas).
***The Host Fee includes your Departure Clean, Damage Waiver Protection, and Admin fee
*** This home is dog friendly. Up to 2 dogs are allowed at a $100 (plus tax) per dog and a signed pet agreement

We had a great time. The views from the house are beautiful. The house is lovely. The beach access is an added bonus. Only note is that there are a lot of stairs to the lower bedroom.

This house was perfect for our stay. We had teens with us and access to the private beach was key. Great location and lots of beds! The only thing I wished it had were toiletries available. Other than that it was the perfect getaway!

Wow, what a view to wake up to everyday and enjoy every evening! We couldn’t have asked for a better location in Tahoe city. We enjoyed the hot tub and the stocked kitchen. The entire home was so cozy and inviting. Thank you for sharing this beautiful and serene slice of paradise!

We had a wonderful stay here. The cabin was nicely remodeled and decorated and the views were fantastic. The kitchen was well appointed and we enjoyed the hot tub. This location was perfect with easy access to Tahoe City and close to ski resorts. Overall we had a great time staying here and would stay here again.

I stayed with my wife, and a handful of our young adult kids and their friends. They also allowed our dog! The property was as-advertized. It had a great view of the lake, and cool hiking trails up the street. The house itself was perfect for our needs. It had all the amenities we needed and a great deck to have a cup of coffee, eat breakfast and enjoy the views. The property management team was great. Communicated clearly and was responsive when I had questions. We also appreciated them granting us early checkin and late checkout.

We had a lovely time at this rental house. The pictures/description match the real experience. The hot tub was great to relax in after days of skiing. Palisades Tahoe was an easy 15 minute drive. Check in and check out were a breeze. The views of the lake through the privacy of the trees were picture perfect.

My husband and our two sons had a blast at the Tahoe Sun! We booked it because it checked our boxes: view, hot tub, fireplace, cozy couch for movies and video gaming, a hill to sled and play on, and a well-appointed kitchen for making fun family meals. We expected it to be nice, and we completely fell in love it with upon arrival. Everything was as described, everything worked as expected. It was clean, well-stocked, and easy to settle in. Driving away we are already trying to figure out when we can come up again! Thank you for sharing your amazing home—we can’t wait to come back.

Lots of space and nice premium upgrades to the house like heated floors in the bathroom. Kitchen was well equiped for cooking. Loved having the open space up the road to take the dogs for a walk in the snow.

We enjoyed our stay but would probably not go back in July. I think the Spring and Fall would be better since Tahoe houses do not have AC. Luckily, the house had a couple of box fans and the evenings did provide some cool breezes. The only true negative was the spiders in the master suite with various webs found. The house needed to be treated for bugs prior, but we didn’t find any new ones or other areas affected around the house after we cleaned and searched. Beds are comfortable but one of the showers didn’t drain well at all after my 7-8 year olds tried to use it. A plumber came the next day thanks to the housing manager and all was fixed. Lots of items stocked in the house were helpful plus a fairly new pack n play. Tons of room for everyone and very peaceful location. I would come back just in a different season of the year.

Family of 6 stayed 3 nights in July. Great location, beautiful views from deck and most rooms in the house. Great kitchen and family room area. 4 bedrooms and bathrooms were great. Steam shower in master was nice perk as was hot tub out back with great views. Very clean with plenty of linens. Only complaint was some window hardware and blinds were broken which made it a bit tricky get get windows open and blinds lifted to get breeze going since there is no AC in Tahoe homes. Property manger was prompt in resolving several windows and blind issues. Yes, it does get cool enough in the house without AC and the temp on the deck is always perfect. Thanks for a very memorable first stay in Tahoe!

Great for a family

Our family stayed here for 10 nights with 2 kids and the house was excellent. It is clean and well maintained and obviously a home used by the owner, not just a full time rental. We hope to rent this house again next year. The property managers were available and helpful when we needed them. The views from every window are spectacular and we spent plenty of time admiring the lake from the living room. A particularly nice feature is the large garage. We brought our mountain bikes and were able to store our bikes in the garage. The home is close to many great Tahoe mountain bike trails of all skill levels.

This house worked out very well for us. The house is stocked with everything you can think of. There are great views from a number of places in the home; especially the big living room window. It is a quick 5-7 into town with a nice market and bakery even closer. We'd love to rent this house again!

This house is fantastic -- we loved our stay and can't wait to stay again. View of the lake and beautiful, quiet neighborhood with super easy access to shops, restaurants, etc. The house is more than well stocked and everything you need is there -- including the most amazing kitchen. Stacy from the management office was incredibly helpful and responded super fast to our few questions. Could not recommend this property enough!
