The Space:

The Benton Beachside is YOUR new home-away-from home. Sunny, comfortable and spacious, this home has everything your group is looking for during your stay including a new oven and fridge in the kitchen as well as a new grill and patio furniture. All beds in the 4 bedrooms are very comfortable.

The Neighborhood:

Located in quaint historic downtown Ocean Springs, The Benton Beachside is steps from the beach and Gulf of Mexico. A short 15-minute stroll through picturesque streets lined with mossy oak trees will take you to the heart of downtown where many restaurants, bars, and shops are located, among other things waiting to be discovered. (Don't miss the Farmer's Market at the Depot on the weekends!) For the more adventurous, located next to the house is the entrance to the 1.7-mile walking path across the Biloxi-Ocean Springs Bridge - ideal for anyone hoping to get in some exercise while on vacation or for catching a glimpse of the stunning sunrise or sunset over the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Or - enjoy a morning walk on the 1-mile boardwalk along the beach which starts at the Yacht Club and ends at the Harbor where you can buy fresh shrimp right off of the boat! On the other side of the bridge are casinos and all of the nightlife that Biloxi has to offer.

Our 6yo daughter lives the kids bedroom and the swing in the backyard. She was also a big fan of the hanging papasan chair in the den/TV room. The house was adorably decorated for the holidays and we enjoyed to local restaurant recommendations provided by the hosts and the complimentary snacks for our little one. Overall it was a great place.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience at the Benton Beachside! We had the warmest welcome with treats and a Birthday surprise! Everything you need for visiting the beach and enjoying your stay from beach chairs, beach towels, games etc. are provided. The recommendations and very informative notebook was an excellent touch. It was just 3 of us staying and we had more than enough space, the Benton easily accommodates a larger group but was more reasonably priced than some smaller places. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be coming back!

Could not ask for a better location to the beach and any store you could ask for. Even a 3 min walk to the beach or fishing piers or even the downtown.

Plenty of space for hanging together or separate, like when the kids just wanna watch YouTube Minecraft videos, and the parents wanna be close enough to keep an eye, but far enough to have a sane conversation. We all look forward to coming back.

This property was AMAZING! It was in a perfect location for everything you'd want. Extremely comfortable and clean with LOTS of space to enjoy a relaxing week. Highly recommend and hope to come back!! Definitely 5 STARS.

Great location and great property! We had 7 guys hang out for a bachelor trip and the house is in a perfect location. Walking distance to both the beach and restaurants in Ocean Springs. The house was very clean and we had 0 complaints! Highly recommend!

My family from Mississippi and Alabama gathered together for a wonderful weekend in Ocean Springs. We loved the house and the location. The house is close to downtown and the beach. The thoughtful touches at the house (king cake, toiletries in the bathroom, binder and information about the area) were great and we hope to stay here again.

Frank made check in super easy. House was within walking distance to downtown and was perfect. House had everything you could possibly need, decor was exceptional. Lots of room for the six of us. We have stayed in many VRBO properties, but this one stood out far above the rest. The house was spotless, comfortable, charming, well stocked with anything you could need and located wonderfully. We will keep coming back!

We stayed 4 days there this past weekend with 2 adults and 6 kids from 3 years to 16 years old and we had PLENTY of space. It never felt crowded. This was our second stay so we knew that we didn't have to bring beach supplies, games, play pen, highchair or outside toys. They are all already there for us to use. SO convenient! This home is also very conveniently located to downtown area and front beach. My kids loved the netflix and youtube TV. The fresh banana bread and flowers in the window seal topped it off!

Hosts were very helpful and provided extra items for kids, even some sand toys which were a hit! Cute house, decorated with a homey flair. Yummy homemade bread and plenty of ideas for things to do. We hope we can stay here again soon.

Great place to stay!

For a group of seven girls, this was the perfect place for our us! We rented for a bachelorette getaway, and the location seated us closed to downtown OS and casinos. The living room was large and accommodating for all of us to hang out, and Cyndi covered all the special touches to make us feel at home. 10/10 recommend and would stay again!

The house was very clean and decorated up for Christmas. We did not expect all of the decorations. We spent time with our Son and his girlfriend playing board games, celebrating Christmas and ordering in SeaFood ( darn Covid), walked to the beach many times and visited a few spots reccomended by the owner. Great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Attention to detail was was spot on. The property catered for our needs, a family of 5 adults. We loved the layout of the property and the fact that there was a garden where we could sit in the sun in the early morning. We were able to have our own spaces to sit indoors with a living room and a front sitting room. The beds were the most comfortable of the properties we had slept in since our arrival in the US. Cyndi the property manager was so caring and accommodating. Frank was quick to respond to any questions we might need answering. We were apparently the first visitors from the UK and South Africa that had stayed here. So we felt privileged to be able to stay in this home away from home.

Some friends and family stayed at the property to attend a local car and truck show i trailered mine down from central Wisconsin driveway was perfectly sized with extra parking available just across the street. The back tv room couch was very comfortable feel sleep on that a couple times watching tv. Great location easy access off of 90 my daughter and i went down to the beach just down the road nightly for a swim and to check out the area. Had a wonderful time and will be back next year.

My husband and I had been talking with the kids about relocating from IA, where we currently live, to either MS or LA, in 3 years when our daughter graduates HS, so this trip was going to be a chance for us to experience both places since LA was not too far away. When we got to this house, 1st thing we noticed was how easy it was to find and in a great location. It was within walking distance to the beach in Ocean Springs, and very close to the many beaches in Biloxi and Gulfport. It was also close to all the Ocean Springs locations/attractions. We were greeted with some delicious homemade bread which made us feel so welcome being in a place that we had never been to. Additionally, our son graduated the day before from High School so he was given a card and a couple gift cards, that was not expected and very much appreciated! We were also provided with all sorts of information on things to do in MS and even LA from excursions to restaurants to site seeing locations and even walking spots, for people that were trying to determine what state they wanted to call there “forever home” we relied a lot on that info and we did go to several of the recommended places. Due to the abundance of info that they had provided to us, we have decided MS will be the place we move, we loved it there, and the people were great. This was by far the best family vacation we have ever taken and I think we owe that all to the owner and his mother for providing us with so much info! I definitely would recommend this home to anyone who wants to visit the Ocean Springs/Biloxi area. We hope to visit each year until we move and would definitely like to stay here again!

The owners are so sweet and kind. The house is stocked with everything a family needs for a great vacation. The location is great for access to the beach and to downtown Ocean Springs. The only hiccup is the train tracks. They are very close to the house and trains run at night. If your family has light sleepers be prepared to hear the horn and wake up every four hours. Otherwise the home is great for families!

Our family of 5 had a great stay at this house. We were greeted by Cyndi who gave us great advice about the area and also baked us delicious bread! The house was very clean and decorated very nicely. It was a short walk to the beach which we took advantage of. There is also a brewery and coffee house within walking distance. With 3 kids it was easier to drive to downtown but it was very close and had a lot of cute shops and restaurants. We were able to go to Biloxi for a boat trip to catch fish which the kids loved. Also, we took a day trip to New Orleans an hour and a half away. I would suggest this house to anyone! Thanks for the great stay!

We were very impressed with the ease of being at the house. Everything was easy to find. We had a 15 month old and she was able to have room to play. All the kids enjoyed being there and felt safe. The location of the house was wonderful. The house is very easy to get to and close to all the locations we needed to get too. We will stay here again when we come back.
