It was so fun staying here last year. Very clean, very roomy, had everything we needed! Thank you for making our vacation so enjoyable!

We loved this 2 bedroom 1 bath house. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. Bathroom was roomy with a great shower/tub. We loved that there was a washer / dryer in the basement. Bedrooms were very comfortable with plenty of space to put our things away. The sunroom was an added bonus, we played games out there. Entry was easy access. We didn’t need the fireplace but it looked perfect for cooler temps. I couldn’t find the hair dryer and Heather came right over with it. Communication was wonderful throughout the process. Parking was ample and convenient. We will definitely be back. We love this area and have stayed before, this home was perfect for us.

Such a sweet little bungalow! Everything you would need is provided, and the location is perfect. My boys loved the short walk to the beach and the aerial lift bridge. Great place to relax with a nice front porch with windows.

House was clean and well stocked. It was surprisingly roomy and the layout was great for our small family. Very fun to be so close to an amazing beach and to walk down to the lift bridge and Canal Park. Host was very helpful and communicative. House had all paper products, kitchen supplies and bedding.

We were there at the beginning of June, so I can’t speak to the heating or cooling systems. There are lots of windows, so that was very nice, and the neighborhood is reasonably quiet. Traffic sounds, sure, since it’s right on the main street, mainly during the morning commute time, but residents are used to waiting for the bridge, so they don’t keep their cars idling.
We brought our bikes and really appreciate being able to keep them in the garage so we didn’t have to lock them and they stayed dry when it rained.
The kitchen and pantry have all the things you need, and plenty of dishes, including smaller plates and bowls, which we used mostly. We didn’t cook while there, but ate our breakfast of yogurt and stuff, and tea, before heading out for the day, but you could certainly cook full meals if you wanted to.
We prioritize having comfortable chairs with good lighting for reading, and a table for playing cards and games, and this was all provided at this spot.
My only suggestion would be to provide a handrail next to the front stoop. It’s only a couple of small steps, but for someone with gimpy knees, like me, that presented a bit of a challenge.

We loved the location and accommodations. It was a perfect place for UMDs parent's weekend. The house was clean, warm and welcoming. We will definitely return!

This property was all around perfect. It really was a home away from home. My fiancé and I really enjoyed how easy it was to walk to canal park to watch the ships come in and enjoy all of shops and restaurants canal park has to offer. Would highly recommended booking for your stay in Duluth

Cute place. Nicely appointed. Super easy check-in and great communication from our hosts. Quick walk to beach access and easy stroll to Canal Park area. Loved everything about it except the mattress in the primary bedroom, which sagged enough to make it uncomfortable.

heather was phenomenal all around. we are a fragrance free family + she went above and beyond in that regard for us. she communicated very well, made sure we had everything we needed or wanted + really made our stay quite effortless so we could enjoy the weekend celebrating birthdays.
the home was CLEAN! it was well maintained, had great charm + felt perfect for what we needed. my ONLY complaint or suggestion was the lighting. i wish there was better/more lighting because our evenings at the home playing cards, cooking, reading, hanging out felt a liitle strained trying to see better, LOL. aside from that, 5 resounding stars! we will absolutely return + book with heather again! THANK YOU!

This was our third time staying at the little blue house and we love it. Has everything we need for a week's stay. Great location: close to the beach and a short walk to the lift bridge/canal park area. Door auto locks at the porch so your things even out there are secure. Nice bunkbeds, upgraded internet, smart tv, laundry, friendly/helpful homeowners, highly recommend!

You can walk to Canal Park and take in Grandma’s, all the shops, restaurants, start the Lake Walk, walk to the lighthouse.
12th Street Beach I considered the best secret about this rental. Go relax on the beach and has portapotties.
There were a few items in the pantry for cooking; spices, plastic wrap to cover unused portions, plastic containers to hold leftovers.
Private parking.
Heather is a great host!
We enjoyed our stay.
Slept good after long days of visiting and day trips.
Nice screened in porch that I wish that I had several more days to enjoy.

The blue house is exactly how it presents online. It is conveniently located on Park Point with a fabulous beach just steps away. A quick walk to Canal Park with up close access to the lift bridge. We enjoyed our mornings in the sunny front porch. Kitchen is well stocked and home very clean and comfortable. My granddaughter loved sleeping on the top bunk!!

We had a family wedding weekend at The Garden and this location is perfect for a family who does not want to cram into a hotel room. Very easy and great value for us!

The little blue house is a great lodging option in a fantastic location—close to Canal Park and the beach! It was very clean, and everything was in good repair. The owners rapidly responded to a couple of questions we had during our stay, too!

Wonderful location, great property!

Positives:
Property inside was amazingly clean.
Check in/out process was seamless
Location of property relative to attractions
Offstreet parking
Value - best value on park point
Had everything you needed
Did I mention it was clean!
Neutral:
TV was a little small for a family movie night (but was new and had all the apps you needed)
Floors are very creaky (understand that the house is very old)
Interior lights were a mix of 2700k and 4000k temp. All 2700k would cozy the place up quite a bit.
Backyard has potential for outdoor games, and is underutilized.
Exterior lacks curb appeal and is showing age
Neighbor across the street doesn't like it when you back into the driveway as it shines lights into her house (not sure we would have known this was an issue unless she confronted us about it). If possible, pull into driveway vs back in.
The road has a lot of daytime traffic with loud motorcycles and trucks, but thankfully that dies down in the evening.
We would and will recommend this place to anyone looking for a convenient place to stay in Park Point. Thank you Heather and Steve!

This was our second time at the blue house. This place is perfect for our family of four. The location is great. It’s a short walk to the lift bridge and canal park. This time we walked to the beach which is a little more than a block away. We will definitely be returning year after year. Check in and check out is easy and Heather is a great host. She replied quickly to any questions we had.

The weather didn't really cooperate, but this house was perfect for my wife and me with our two kids. We enjoyed the walk to Canal Park and at a different time of year would have had great beach access. Communication was flawless and the house was stocked with everything needed.

The property was clean and nice. The space is cuter than the photos even. The couch was big enough for me to sleep on. There is no conditioner or lotion, just 2 in 1 shampoo and body wash.

Appreciate the Host Family & how well they take care of their Investment Properties.
