About this house rental
'Forever 'n Nevers' is a charming 'upside down' floor plan home with beautiful views of the ocean and moors on a quiet road, 1/2 block from Tom Nevers Bluff, and a short 6 minute walk to pedestrian only beach access stairs (i.e. drop-off only, no parking). The home has been substantially renovated on an ongoing basis by the original owners. Due to allergy considerations of family and guests, our home is strictly a pet free home.
New for 2024: Hexclad cookware in the kitchen.
Two master bedrooms and two twin family bedrooms sleep up to 8 people (maximum).
Central air conditioning in two zones (upstairs living and downstairs bedrooms).
The pool is a 14' x 26' heated salt water pool with jacuzzi-spa. The pool has an electric retractable cover for child safety. The pool depth is 5' in center 4' on either end of a 26' "swim lane" with no obstructions. Spa, in-water wall seating bench, and steps are opposite the "swim lane."
The outdoor decks on three levels have been beautifully rebuilt and expanded with teak decking and white painted cedar railings. The photos show the teak furniture and sky-blue cushions and umbrellas.
The spacious and bright open-plan second floor with beamed cathedral ceilings has beautiful views of the ocean and moors (see photos); living room with fireplace, dining area (seats 8-10), separate kitchen table seats six, "office" desk area, and laundry with commercial washer and dryer.
A second upstairs living room with French doors separates it from the main living room for work, entertainment or privacy. The second living room contains a sofa, love seat, two arm chairs, foot rest, built in desk, 60' Samsung Smart TV with Bose sound bar and great views of Low Beach, Sankaty Light, sunrises and sunsets.
There two ensuite master baths tub with shower, a family bathroom with shower, and powder room. There is a private, enclosed outdoor shower with dressing area adjacent to the pool deck
The MBR has an i-comfort Serta split king master bed with adjustable, vibrating base and built-in blue tooth speakers.
Linens, towels and beach towels are provided. Paper goods and detergents are also provided. The house is maintained as the owner's vacation home, not as a rental property.
Sonos music speakers are available throughout the house. You can connect your own phone or bluetooth player to play your favorite playlists or stations on the house speaker system. An Alexa speaker is in the kitchen for music, weather forecasts, timers, etc.
Voice activated remote controls search feature on all four TVs.
Short walk (6 min) to public beach access stairs. (no car parking)
Back roads lead to the less populated, more beautiful, and quiet south shore beaches.
One man’s and one woman’s bicycle are on site. Bike to S'conset, beach or public golf course.
Toys for indoors, beach and pool. Also, beach chairs and umbrellas are provided.

We had a fantastic one week stay at the property this August. The home had absolutely everything you need, plus some! Richard knows what a home like this should be and more importantly how to treat his guests. It is a quick 5min walk to the beach and the hot tub/pool are amazing. Our favorite part was probably the widow's walk and spending time up there each night. One night one member of our group even slept up there it was so peaceful! I can't recommend the property enough to Richard and his team for being so helpful and flexible with everything. It was refreshing to deal with someone who understood the difficulty of travel and went out of his way to be accommodating. 5-stars!

Everything about this home is perfect! From the host to the pool to the amazing beach access, you couldn't possibly expect more from this home. It is comfortable and well-appointed without being fussy. The home is exceptionally well maintained with a full "handbook" of the home's features and area's amenities. As perfect as the inside of the home is, the outside porches, decks and pool areas make for wonderful outside living. Last but not least, viewing the ocean, sunset or sunrise from the widow's walk is a must!

Our third year at 28 OTN and we savored every minute of it - especially when the weather was good. We used the house as a base to enjoy many special events and meals with family and friends. The house never fails to provide virtually anything you may have forgotten (including string to tie up a chicken and birthday candles). 28 OTN is well maintained and the hosts responsive and accommodating.

We felt special from the moment we arrived with a purse-ful of Nantucket goodies. Most comfortable beds and bedding (I’m picky). We checked out and played with an abundance of pool & beach toys. A well-organized dream kitchen with every utensil, gadget, pot/pan, dish, serving tray, decorative pieces, appliances, etc you could want. Private outdoor spaces to kick back or rinse off; this place is one you have to see to believe!

Wow, what a great property, that really has all you could want! Owners are lovely and care about your stay. Amenities are a plenty! Located in a quiet neighborhood close to the beach via a scenic stroll. Our toddler loved scooting back and forth to the beach every day! We even got lucky and spotted a seal who kept popping up to say hello! Pool with spa was great! Lovely neighbors. Quick 5 min drive to 'Sconset. We will be back!

A great property with nice views of the water and the stars on clear nights. House is clean and doesn’t have a feeling like a rental. Our family enjoyed the deck and pool and all the fantastic things Nantucket has to view. Having the option to rent the jeep on site works great. We hope we can return sometime soon.

Fabulous!
We had such a great stay! The house and yard were beautifully set up and the flowers were gorgeous! My boys caught bluefish and we cut some herbs from the pots on the deck to cook them with. We all enjoyed the pool and beautiful night sky- so many stars!

Forever n' Nevers is a dream!
I stayed at Richard and Alison's home for a week with my whole family and it was beyond perfect! The house is perfectly maintained and exactly as it is pictured--you feel right at home and are immediately comfortable! Richard is very easy to work with, friendly, and responsive. The backyard feels like your own little paradise with gorgeous flowers, a well-manicured lawn, and pristine pool. Want to go to the beach? It is an easy walk right down the street! The kitchen is well-stocked with spices, marinades, dishes, pots, pans, and any other cookware you could need to make a gourmet home cooked meal. The linens and sheets were comfy and clean, with plenty of extras when needed. The house is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood with nearby walking, running, and biking trails. The views from the widow's walk are beyond stunning--you can see the whole island and at night star gaze for hours. This home is amazing and as my mom often exclaimed "Richard and Alison have thought of everything! This home is perfect!" Already looking forward to going back again next summer!

We had a fantastic week on island at this property! The house was spotless and impeccably maintained. The owners are incredibly responsive and obviously care deeply about both their house and their visitors experience. You can walk to the beach which is great, the pool is a major bonus, and you are a quick ride to both sconset and town for all the activities you could want. We highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

Great house and location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the property. Richard and his wife opened up their home as though we lived there. We really appreciated the use of beach equipment, kitchen spices and other kitchen equipment, beach towels, bikes etc. The house was very clean and very comfortable. Even though we went to several beaches we really enjoyed the Tom Nevers Beach and it’s walkability. The use of the pool and spa were very appreciated and were so fun for the Grandchildren! The grounds are beautifully landscaped and add to the ambiance. Lots of outdoor seating and dining options. Thanks to our Host and Hostess!

Thought of Everything
This property is a meticulously maintained treasure of Tom Nevers. Just a short drive outside of town (which can get very congested!), this well stocked home on a nice sized plot provided every necessity and incidental item(s) for adult and child. The property layout perfectly divideds outdoor spaces for pool time fun and deck side relaxation. The walk along the quiet and minimally trafficked road to the private beach takes just mere moments. We flew some kites, splashed in the waves and watched some seals play in the surf. We made wonderful memories at the home and I’m sure the next guests will too.

We had the most amazing experience at Richard’s home! He was very responsive and his guide was very detailed. We loved the home - it was so well stocked with beach toys and spices etc. the location was wonderful and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The pool and hot tub were perfect for after beach days. We wouldn’t change a thing and look forward to coming back soon!

Fantastic House and Location
We stayed for a week at this amazing property in the Tom Nevers area. The owner was terrific and the house was wonderfully maintained, clean and organized and well stocked with everything a family or group needs. The exterior space allows for full enjoyment of this peaceful side of the island with a beautiful pool. The ocean is a ten minute walk away after which you will have miles of beach almost to yourself. Highly recommend a stay here.

Excellent, Booking it again
Wonderful property, with everything advertised plus more. Access to the beach is a short easy walk with the kids, the pool is excellent, the beds are comfortable, and the house is full of kitchen items, spices etc. Great sunsets from the widows walk, we ate our meals on the outdoor deck, and had plenty of space for four adults and three kids.
The Jeep rental was a nice bonus too. Richard was also very attentive and responsive when I had questions.

Forever N Nevers - 5 stars!
What a great place to stay! Our group consisted of 4 Children under the age of 9 and 3 adults. The house was well equipped and very clean with plenty of space. The “ upside down” layout provided excellent views from the second floor, only to be out done by the widows walk view, where you can see for miles. The kids played for hours in the pool and loved the hot tub. The owner, Richard was very helpful and responsive. Thank you Richard! I highly recommend Forever N Nevers!

Perfect house! Amazing experience!
My husband and I vacationed here with our two toddlers and three grandparents. It’s a great house for a family and had a great layout for lounging and relaxing indoors in the living room and wonderful pool and hot tub to lounge outdoors. Getting to town and many restaurants is about a 15-20 min drive unless you only want to go to more local places in Scionset. The house is an upside down layout with all 4 bedrooms on the main floor and the living space (kitchen, dining, living and sunroom) upstairs. The owners are very accommodating and answered the few questions we had immediately. The house also has several beach toys and equipment which is nice. My only complaint was that we had some difficulty figuring out how to heat the hot tub and pool but figured it out with the owners help during our stay. Overall great accommodations! I would definitely stay here again.

Forever 'n Nevers was wonderful for our family. Plenty of space in the house to gather together or find a private place for some quiet. Gorgeous views, short walk to lovely, quiet beach. We have been going to Nantucket for 20 years and this was by far the best rental we have encountered. Richard provides thorough directions for anything needed in the house and it made us feel like it was our home. 'Forever 'n Nevers' provided our family with an exceptional setting for a very special vacation experience this year in Nantucket. The property was very clean, well appointed and maintained, and has every amenity you could hope to have for a wonderful family vacation. The interior design is excellent. The Rooftop Widow's Watch provides spectacular views, from sunrise to sunset. The fabulous pool and spa area proved to be a favorite gathering places for our family when we were not at the beach. I cant say enough about this home. Lovely, spacious immaculate andthoughtfully stocked. The owner is wonderful and handled any and all questions. Thegarden and pool an oasis and just a few munutes to a quiet beach. We are pretty partucular about our surroundings and where we stay and tbis home we will return to. Beautiful home and pool!
This home is perfect! We have been renting on the island for 10 years, and this home is one of the best. We are two families of 4, so having two master suites is incredible. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us. The house was beautifully appointed, modern, and spotlessly clean.
The outside was just as beautiful, with a top floor deck that views the ocean, walking down to the lower level is a deck that overlooks a very nice backyard and fabulous pool area - including a hot tub! It was a wonderful spot to spend the afternoon after the beach.
Everything you need for a fun and relaxing family vacation is available to you. We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning next year.

Can't go wrong!
This is our second year at 28 OTN Rd and we hope to be back for many more! Many, many upgrades were made to the home this season. The pool and spa were a welcome addition. The landscaping is gorgeous and it is quite easy to relax. This is a great spot for family entertaining and fun. With the added second master suite, it is easy for 2 small families to share the space. The owners are a pleasure to deal with as well. They have plenty of beach chairs, towels and even allow you to use their bicycles. We will be back until the day we own our own piece of paradise on ACK!
