We rented this house for a group of 14 from newborn to 65. Everyone absolutely loved the property. We were able to spread out in the 7 bedrooms. This house was built in 89 and hasn’t changed much since, honestly it adds to the experience. This is the first rental home where I actually was excited to learn more about the home and back story. Our group had so much fun hanging out on the main level playing pool and darts. The pool was heated which was very nice. The home comes with a pontoon and you can rent jet skis for an additional charge. The property manager responded to everything really quickly. It was a great place to stay and I would absolutely come back. A few things to note, there are no bedrooms on the ground level. The railings are from the 80s and have pretty wide openings so we had to watch the kids closely when on the deck. Also there isn’t a fence around the pool. Those weren’t issues for us during our stay but just things we hadn’t considered before the trip. For the price I don’t think you will find a better deal in the lake!

We had a huge crew of 19 and everyone had a bed to sleep in. The house is large enough with so many things to do, we never felt crowded. The master bedroom is incredible. Only took 20 mins to get to Clemson.

This was our second year in a row staying in this large house for our annual family reunion. We are booked to be there again next year as it is the perfect house for our large family. So many beds as well as plenty of spaces to set up inflatable mattresses if needed. Quiet areas can be found if anyone needs to set up a work space or engage in zoom calls.
Nick is an incredible person to deal with. He responds to questions almost immediately and is always available remotely. He even offered use of his personal boat if needed to help us find my grandson who was lost on the lake.
Even though the house needs a lot of cosmetic repairs it is in my opinion the best on the lake for the money. Beautiful, spacious and clean.

We stayed at this property for a week along with three other families for a total of 17 people ranging from age 7 to 53. For our purposes, I don’t know that the property could have been much better. Having the pontoon boat on site and being able to rent JetSki’s from the property owner made the processes easy and streamlined. Issues often arise at rental properties, and there were a few things that we needed to have addressed.
The property manager and owner were extremely accessible and quick to respond to our communications and handle any problems. Perhaps the property is not quite as glamorous as some of the photos, but it is an incredible property with amenities you don’t find at most rentals. Everyone in our group (including the teenagers) said they had a great time and would stay here again. I’m certain we’ll be back!

This house accommodated our family of 14 very well! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Everyone had their own area with full bathrooms, and plenty of room to gather for games and activities. Didn’t have to worry about buying garbage bags, zip loc baggies, toilet paper, dish or laundry detergent the whole week. We used all the amenities including the jet skis, which just made the trip. The views are absolutely beautiful! Nick was great with communication, and was very gracious in his efforts to make sure we were happy with our stay. much appreciated Nick! A plus! Would return most definitely!

This was an absolutely amazing vacation property. The views are stunning. The property manager was prompt when any issue came up. We had a few minor issues come up and they were all handled immediately my Nick and Marcin. The house does need some upkeep, however the views and service more than make up for it. Very private setting with the most amazing views. House is well supplied to just come and relax. Close by to many thigs but you feel secluded.

Overall we had a great week staying at this property. There was ample space for 10 people. The lake views are stunning and we really enjoyed access to the kayaks, pontoon boat, and hot tub. The pool water was too cold to enjoy, but such a nice outdoor landscape with the fire pits. We had a few issues at check in that were taken care of in a timely manner by the local house manager. The house is in need of some updates and repairs, most of this is cosmetic/wear and tear like stained carpets, peeling wallpaper, broken furniture and dinged up walls. This house is well stocked was clean at check in. All in all, would recommend!!

This house was chosen because we were having a wedding and it was big enough to accommodate all of our guests. Upon arrival, we were very impressed with how nice everything looked. The front doors and the entryway with the water wall feature were especially impressive. The master bedroom and bathroom suite were incredible. For the most part we were satisfied with the property, but there were a few major issues.
The first thing we noticed was that the projector in the master bedroom didn’t work. We reported it and they had someone come out and fix it the next day, it needed a new Direct TV box. The second thing we noticed was that two of the interior fireplaces didn’t work at all. The exterior fire pits worked for about an hour then ran out of propane and there was no extra propane on the property for the fire pits or the grill. The third thing was that some of the showers in the guest rooms would not get hot water, not even warm water. Even the ones that did work could not run simultaneously. If one person was taking a shower, the others couldn’t sustain hot water. The master bathtub could only be filled about 3/4 of the way before running out of hot water and the jets in the tub didn’t work. The fourth thing was that the hot tub did not work properly. The water was warm but the jets wouldn’t turn on fully and the water was very dirty. They were working on it the day we arrived but it still didn’t work. Finally, when we tried to go out on the boat, it didn’t work either.

We just left ‘Estate on the Lake’. This is a beautiful home with plenty of room for a large gathering. The host was very responsive to all my questions prior to arrival and during our stay, which was highly appreciated. Would definitely recommend this rental and would stay there again. Enjoyed the hot tub and our time poolside. Many extras provided with the home.

We have stayed at a lot of houses on Lake Keowee and this one is our favorite to date! It's so big. Tons of space!! Lots of separate seating areas. Looks just like the pics on VRBO. The kitchen is very well stocked. Great place for our large family to all be together. I can't say enough how much we loved this place! We look forward to returning!!

We booked this beautiful house for our micro wedding and it was absolutely perfect! A few of the amenities didn't work as well as we'd hoped, but there was so much else it didn't really matter. Tons of space for our family, kitchen is well appointed, house was very clean, if a little outdated in places. Couldn't have hoped for a better rental!

All the instructions were well written the kitchen was great and all the TV's worked well, we got to catch the playoff games on the 2 Big Screens.
The view was beautiful and we took the boat out on the lake for a spin and had a great time. We would highly recommend this home and plan to come back.

All fireplaces could not be used; no operating instructions. Fireplace on main floor had pieces broken off; review in 02/23 documented same problem. Hot tub never reached correct temperature; review dated 11/23 documented same problem. The last bedroom downstairs had water leaking from the ducts & leaking on bed. Water also leaking from light control on wall. Notified Marcin; pictures sent & he said a fan was in the closet. Main bedroom upstairs door to bathroom would not close properly and the jets in bath tub not working. Showers in upstairs could not be used; one shower appeared clogged & the other one had no hot water. The shower in the laundry room was used for us. Refrigerator in bar had had a block of ice in it & the wine bar was nasty; both needed cleaning. Most important safety issues were sliding doors on main floor could not be locked; one side of door was secured with a broken shower rod & the other was secured with a broken pool cue we found near pool table. One door just closed not locked. Carpets needed cleaning. Marcin was notified of all our concerns and his response was how expensive it is to replace all the locks. He did not come by property or give us any assistance. We took photos of the leaks, broken knob for fireplace, dirty refrigerator/wine cooler, dirty carpets & vents. House keeping isn’t doing their job; bare minimum and maintenance not doing repairs that have already been reported.

This house was perfect for our gathering of old college friends & spouses. The lake setting is gorgeous & calming, no matter the weather. The house is spacious enough that you can gather together in multiple places - inside & out, or, if you want to, you can all spread out & enjoy quiet time without interrupting each other. We ran out of time to enjoy all the amenities. Nick was a great host & quick to respond to any questions we had. We hope to return again next year.

This is a wild, interesting house with surprises everywhere. It was a great space to spend time with friends. The highlight was having access to the pontoon on such a beautiful fall weekend. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and mad cooking easy. The pool was heated and the fire pit perfect for taking in the lake views.

Our group of 5 couples spent a delightful week at this fabulous house on Lake Keowee. Lots of "pros" and very few "cons." Here are the highlights:
Pros -- 1. Great bedrooms; everyone was happy with the beds, and the showers had plenty of pressure and hot water. You can't believe the Master Bedroom; pictures hardly do it justice! 2. Great spaces through the house for everyone to gather and also areas for small groups or individuals to chill quietly. 3. Pool area sitting right down by the lake was a real plus. Water temperature was comfortable and the water was clear, albeit with some leaves and debris blown into the pool by the wind. Pool service came on Thursday to do a thorough cleaning and testing the water. 4. TVs everywhere (although there were a lot of remote controls to figure out!). 5. Check-in and check-out was a breeze, and Nick, the owner, was always quick to respond. 6. Oh, did I mention the pontoon boat that's included in the rental? It's old and well-used, but it started right up, ran well, and easily accommodated 10 adults. With kids, there would be room for even more.
Cons -- not many! The house is beautifully decorated, but it's getting a little old and there are some spots on the carpets and rugs, but overall it was a clean interior. The furniture was heavy and well-built, but some of it is showing its age, as to be expected in a rental. The outside also shows some wear, but nothing that stopped us from enjoying lots of time outside.

Our family of 11 had a blast!! The views are absolutely amazing and the house provided ample space for gathering and quiet time. We took full advantage of the pool, pontoon, jet ski, billiards, grill and fire pit.The children loved jumping off the dock and swimming in the pool. We spent one morning sliding down the rocks at Long Shoals Recreation Area and an afternoon playing putt putt golf. Lots to do in the area. Most of our days were spent exploring the lake, tubing and just enjoying the water. We had four grandchildren with us ages 4, 3, 2, and 4mo. We knew from reading previous reviews about the wide railings upstairs and on the deck. We came prepared with a baby gate for the stairs to keep them away from the balcony and placed chairs in front of doors leading outside. Everyone was safe and we made some wonderful memories. Others have mentioned the house could use some updates and a little TLC. This is true and although we took great care of the property, it was actually more relaxing to spend time in a 'well loved' home with our crew of littles. Nick was great to work with and quick to respond to any questions. Such a wonderful week!!

We loved our time here, as we have in the past, and it was noticeably more clean. Also very grateful for the outdoor seating and tables now. Thank you! Only suggestion is to please take some time to update the house wallpaper, decor, furnishings (especially the sectional in the living room), the pontoon (we rent our own bc of the state of the pontoon offered with the house). Also would suggest labeling kitchen drawers and give book of instructions for various items. We had to use one of the kids fire sticks to cast to the main living room TV. We love this place because it has enough room for our family, we are familiar with what is generally there, plus the pool and then the dock.

There are a lot of small maintenance issues with this property but we were there to enjoy each other and not purchase the home. This house offers so many quiet places for anyone needing that. Nick was wonderful to work with and we are looking forward to our next stay in July 2024.

I would highly recommend this property. We take a boating trip every year and we will definitely be back. The only negative was the pool, but I cannot blame that on the owner as this was out of his control. He was very receptive and had a crew to balance and clean the water the day after we spoke. We rent every summer on Keowee, and had admired this house from the water for many years. We had the opportunity to rent it this summer with a few other families and were not disappointed one bit. The house was spacious, with great common areas as well as private nooks when a little quite time was needed. This was one of the best appointed houses that we've ever rented, in terms of towels, kitchen gear, etc and the location is so convenient. The house is on an open cove with beautiful views, but has limited boat traffic immediately in front of it. It is a short distance to the Crooked Creek RV park for boat and jet ski refueling.
The inside bar and game room were a favorite hang out, as was the awesome pool and firepit areas.
Nik was super easy to work with, and responded to all of our questions quickly. I can't say enough great things about this experience, and would highly recommend this to anyone considering.

Overall this was a great property that slept 9, but hosted 17 for lunches and dinners. The setting of this property is very pretty and sitting out at the pool was fantastic. We had chefs that came in a cooked for the weekend and there was ample space in the kitchen. Our friends and family said the beds were comfortable and had no complaints about sleeping/bathroom accommodations. The only items I would say could be addressed was the "L" shaped sofa in the great room had several stains and could stand to be replaced along with the area rugs. We had a 2 1/2 year old grandchild that we had to keep very close eyes on when she was on the upper deck patio. I know when this house was built codes were vastly different, but a small child could go through the outdoor railings fairly easily. (This is no fault of the owner again-I am sure it was at code when the home was built). We would definitely rent this home again! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy it.
