Had a wonderful long weekend. The cabin was immaculate. Hot tub was such a huge bonus.
No complaints whatsoever.
Very cozy and comfy real close to town.
If I had one suggestion it would be a tv on the back porch and a ceiling fan over the hot tub. Definitely not necessary. Loved the idea that both bedrooms were master bedrooms.

The home was inviting & comfortable. The bed foot was too large for the room & I have 3-5 bruises on my arm from hitting the large pointed tall edges. They were lovely to look at but too large for the room size. Not enough room between the foot & the wall. It was a very nice place to stay except for the bed & the Jacuzzi not working. It was way to hot & then got cold & wouldn't heat back up. This was noted in an earlier review also & they still haven't repaired it. Still it was a great trip.

My husband and I, plus 2 friends booked this cabin for a long weekend stay. It is located super close to downtown Helen with access to tons of little shops and restaurants. The cabin was clean and stocked well with everything you would need. There is a fenced in area at the side yard for your fur friends as it also pet friendly. A huge green flag for us! We will likely wind up booking again when we return to the area.

This property was clean and great for a long weekend. There were a couple of minor inaccuracies with the listing; table for 4 instead of 6, and the beds were either hotel style queens or fulls. The furniture needs to be updated terribly, but it was cozy for a short trip. Just an FYI - the property manager was excellent. Both TVs had direct TV. The one in the main room was a Roku so you can stream all your shows. We had plenty of towels, and basic amenities. The only caution is that the water heater is really small. I’m noting that for those traveling with teens - IYKYK. All in all we would stay again.

The only thing we were disappointed in is all the fees. They make the cost over double what you expect it to be.

The hot tub and wood fireplace were wonderful! Very cute and spacious. There's a place to buy firewood about 10 minutes away.

The cabin was ok. Two bedrooms, two bathtooms. I assumed it would have a washer/dryer, but it doesnt. That is my fault for not reading the amenities list better. The cell service is very spotty and the wi-fi was worse. The location was convient to Helen and the screened in back porch wad nice to sit on in the evenings.

The cabin is in the woods and so quiet , I’m from fl and we don’t have quite like we had at the cabin . We enjoyed the hot tub

The variety of accommodations were pretty standard, but everything is very outdated and has seen better days. Beat up dishwasher at least 20 years old, window blinds broken, pump system on the well causes showers to flash hot and cold, stove/burners very beat up and the pots/pans/dishes are the owners throw aways from many years ago. Hot tub cover and patio needs repairs to the interface and the cover needs replacing. A/C and heat work well and you get to sleep in due to the dense tree coverage filtering out most morning and evening sun.

Nice, quiet location. Had a couple of issues which the management company quickly addressed. The cabin is close to Helen and to area attractions. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location and house.
Troubles we had:
The combination given for entry was wrong.
The spa bath had a running hose left in it that had over flowed and caused the spa bath to short out, only came good (dried out) just as we were leaving.
The supplies were very low, one bar of soap in the house, no spare toilet rolls. So we had to shop for theses items.
All else was great.

Great cabin and town.
The cabin and location was great. The only issue we had, was not having a place to throw our trash bags on the premises. We had to drive 4 miles with the trash bags hanging out the window. If they could put a outdoor trash container outside the property, or even at the end of road, it would be perfect!

Nice Stay
Enjoyed our stay at the Bird Haus! Nice accommodation and very clean cabin. Perfect place for a 4 person family to get away to Helen. The cabin could use a bit of upgrading but other than that was just fine. Hot tub was nice and we also enjoyed the games that were there. Thankful for a nice get away…

Quiet little cabin in the woods to relax
The little cabin is took the way in the woods so it’s very quiet has a hot tub on the back porch for you to relax after a long day of walking around Helen and all of the other sites. Anna ruby falls is less than 10 minutes away. Would definitely stay there again we really enjoyed the place.

Cozy Cabin
The Bird Haus was a rustic, cozy cabin. The location was perfect! Close enough to town yet back in the woods enough to make you feel like your tucked away in the mountains. The jacuzzi and fire place were wonderful perks in the home. We enjoyed our evenings lounging in the jacuzzi, taking in the peace and quite. Overall the home was as advertised and we would definitely book this property again. Our only negative remark to make is about the property management company. My husband and I are both property managers in Florida, and we both agreed that the one taking care of Bird Haus is not living up to the potential it should. However this does not change our 5 star review as it is not the fault of the homeowner nor did it change our overall experience in the cabin. If your looking for a peaceful getaway this is one for you! And if your looking for a fantastic cup of coffee, Yona Coffee is where its at!

Home away from home
The cottage was great. I will be coming back. The layout was great for my wife, our dog and I, could have brought another couple without any problem. Especially liked no steps in the house.

Bird Haus
This property was exactly what we we wanted. It was close to Unicoi State Park and downtown Helen while still having that "cabin in the woods" feel. We like the furnishings, and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. I highly recommend the Bird Haus.
