Reeseside Unit 601 has great views of Seawall Blvd, Downtown Galveston, and the Gulf from all the living areas as well as from both bedrooms and the wrap around balcony. Nightscape lights are spectacular. One has the feel of being on a cruise ship overlooking the water during the day.

In addition to the views, what sets this unit apart from other 2/2 units at Diamond Beach is its large 1595 sq. ft. floor plan which makes it one of the LARGEST 2 bedroom units for rent in Diamond Beach. Also, it is one of the few rental condos with a built-in ROCK FIREPLACE to enjoy in the cooler weather, also in the summer time when ca you the setting for no heat but gow in the fireplace. It has easy access to parking areas with an elevator conveniently located near the front door of the unit.

Upon entering the unit, one will find all new classic coastal furnishings for the discerning guest to enjoy. The large Master Bedroom has a deluxe King size bed with plush bedding, flat screen TV, DVD, and large attached master bath with double sink/vanity area and rain shower. The 2nd Guest Bedroom has a Queen size bed and TV, DVD. A Tub/Shower bath is adjacent to Guest Bedroom and also available to living area guests. For a variety of sleeping arrangements to accommodate the required maximum number of 6 guests, there is a Comfortable Queen sleeper couch, an inflatable twin mattress, and even a portacrib for the toddler in the group.

All linens and plenty of towels are available at no additional charge. Should you need it, a full size washer and dryer are in the unit.

The condo comes with a fully equipped kitchen and even has a stock of seasonings in the pullout pantry, so check before going to a grocery store, although a Walmart, Randalls, and Krogers are within a 5-10 minute drive. For those not wishing to cook, there are many nearby fine dining and quick food restaurants with a number of them who deliver right to the condo unit door. The dining area seats 6 with an additional 3 bar stools at the bar area. One can also enjoy morning coffee, snacks, and drinks on the large curving balcony.

There is a built-in rock wall fireplace, soundbar, and large flat screen TV and DVD player across one wall of the living area. A wireless router for electrical devices is available in the unit as well as a desk area.

One never has to leave the premises to enjoy a variety of entertainment options. The Concierge desk on 2nd floor, where one checks in, is open 24/7. Following is a list of amenities available for you as a guest:
1) Three pools consisting of a 750 ft. lazy river and
water slide, a 300ft
cascading pool which includes a kids' pool, two hot
tubs, and an indoor heated pool for year round
enjoyment.
2) Large private theatre can be reserved at no extra
charge. Bring your own popcorn!
3) Game Room with Shuffle Board, Foosball, Pool Table,
Basketball Shots, Pinball Machines and adjoining TV
and computer rooms for more games.
4) Elaborate State of the Art Fitness Center which
overlooks the Winding River and Beach

7) Easy access to the beach outside back gate of Resort
without crossing any streets

We really enjoyed our time. The property has several amenities that make it perfect for families. We loved the lazy river and the pools. The beach is a very short walk and overall is likely not that much further than walking across the road at the seawall, just much safer. Gigi was wonderful to work with and her place was very nice. Great stay!

We have been coming to Diamond Beach for years. This was our first stay in 601, and we loved it! It is spacious, beds were comfortable, and had plenty of extras. Mrs Gigi was very gracious and informative. Will plan to return to 601 next summer.

This is our 3rd time staying at these condos but our first time staying in this unit. The views were spectacular! At first I was bummed there wasn’t a view over the pool, but it that quickly faded when I saw the amazing view of the beach. The corner unit gave us privacy as well and it’s right off the east entrance elevators. The unit itself had everything we needed and the decor was so lovely. I’m impressed with the owner’s paintings! The bed was comfortable and we slept well. If you’re a light sleeper you might want an eye mask as the curtains are not black out and the bedrooms face the east rising sun. The pools are definitely the star of the property and the beach is easy access. I do wish the slide was working. Either way, we will return! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful, condo- everything working, clean, the patio was absolutely perfect and one of the main reasons why we picked this condo. The fireplace was amazing. Gigi contacted me as soon as I booked, she let me know ahead of time what was there, and asked if there was anything I needed. I couldn't ask for a better experience. I will come back!

We had a wonderful stay! Close to everything including the beach. We really enjoyed our time on the deck overlooking the water. The pool was great and very clean around the property. We greatly appreciated Gigi’s recommendations and absolutely loved her paintings throughout the condo!!!

The building where this condo is located has lots of amenities for all age groups. We didn’t have any kids with us to take advantage of all the amenities but greatly enjoyed our stay. Near enough to everything in Galveston, but not in a congested area so it was quiet and peaceful. Great views, and the condo had in it everything we could possibly need. The owner provided excellent instructions on everything beforehand and in the condo itself. Definitely a great place to stay!

This condo is very clean, updated, comfortable and very well stocked! Gigi's "blue notebook" has a wealth of information in it regarding the complex, places to eat, and things to do in Galveston. The beds were super comfortable lending to a great night's sleep. The grab bars in the master bath made showering much easier for an elderly lady in the group. The view of the Pleasure Pier lights at night, Moody Gardens and downtown Galveston is amazing. There is no better place to stay in Galveston than Diamond Beach, and this condo did not disappoint! The condo was absolutely beautiful! It was very spacious and the view was amazing. Gigi was so nice to work with and her paintings throughout the condo were a real treat. The entire complex was very nice. It was very quiet and secure. The staff members were pleasant and helpful. The pool was huge and still warm enough to enjoy in October. We definitely hope to be able to rent this condo again.

The condo was beautiful and very clean. The view was fabulous. Everything was very comfortable especially all the spices and condiments that were available. Owner made an extra effort to communicate with me about how to check in and all the amenities and how to access them. Even where to park and the closest elevator. We had a great weekend.

Beautiful place with incredible views from inside and patio of condo. They provided everything we needed in the kitchen plus 6 beach towels plus some toiletry items. The owner is excellent to work with and really wants you to enjoy your stay. The pools and lazy river were so nice and open until midnight with low lighting at night that provides a cool, relaxed and even romantic vibe. We ended up always using the pool/river at night and the entrance to the slide was always locked for some reason…not sure why. It also wasn’t very busy in the evening (end of July) which was nice. You can’t beat the location as it is the closest beachfront option close to the main Galveston strip. The actual sand beach is actually just at the west end of the resort and the whole southern facing side overlooks a narrow city parking lot that meets the water with big rock boulders. You do feel like you are right on the ocean as far as sitting out looking at waves come in. Oh and the art throughout the condo is beautiful and was painted by the owner…pretty cool. We feel like we found a great place and plan to go back!

We had such a great time at this condo and the Diamond Beach condos. Our condo was perfect for our group of 2 adults and 3 teen boys. The condo had everything we needed. Loved the decor and beds were comfortable. Highly recommend!!!
