"The Garden Retreat" A piece of Paradise is located in Old Ocean Springs on a quite cul-de-sac street. It has mature trees & gardens in the front & backyard. An all weather back porch for relaxing over looking the serene scenery. The Back Yard is Privacy Fence which is great for children & your privacy. There is parking for 4 vehicles in front. A boat or car can be parked behind the privacy gate. The Master Bedroom Suite has a Queen Size bed; the Middle Bedroom has a Queen Bed & the third bedroom has a Queen Bed. It sleep 6 people in 3 bedrooms. All the furniture & Mattresses are new along with the TV & décor. Cable & Hi Speed Wi-Fi are provided. The Kitchen is fully equipped with complimentary coffee & tea. A Stainless Steel Grill is just outside under a Pergola. There is an outdoor patio with table & chairs for outdoor enjoyment.
You can walk down Government Street which has many small restaurants & shops. Nearby Washington Ave., downtown in Ocean Springs, is tree lined with old oak trees, shops, restaurants & the Walter Anderson Museum of Art. The house is approximately 1.5 miles from Front & East Beach in Ocean Springs. It's just a short drive across the Biloxi/Ocean Springs Bridge to Biloxi which has 6 Casinos & a 26 mile beach for fun & activities. Clean, comfortable and convenient. Stayed a month and had all we needed for that long stay. Doggie made good use of nicely fenced back yard. As a 2 generation group, we were able to quickly get to all the attractions we wanted to visit.

The Garden Retreat was just the right place for us to stay during our visit. Close enough to feel part of the action but far enough away to not feel overwhelmed. Beds were comfortable and neighbors were friendly!

Rose and Valerie were great hosts from the moment we arrived. Property was exactly as listed-very clean and well furnished. Garden space was perfect for our pets to have room to sniff and stretch their legs a bit as well as a relaxing spot for their humans! Quiet neighborhood, suited for morning walks. OS didn’t disappoint. Really enjoyed our long Easter weekend.

We really enjoyed our time at "The Garden Retreat." It is centrally located to downtown Ocean Springs. We walked to a couple of local spots from it. The house was roomy and it was nice to spread out. Our host Rose was great and getting in to the place was super simple. We would stay there again.

The house was roomy & very welcoming. Packed with everything you may need in a home. Very clean. My children loved the backyard & were amazed by the lemon tree. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking. We loved our stay.

This is our 4th stay and we hope for a 5th in 2024. Beds are so comfortable! Spacious living area and kitchen ready for cooking if you prefer that over the many close restaurants and unique shops. Backyard is large and fully fenced so a big plus for young children or 4 legged fur friends! This vacation rental will feel welcoming and restful. Rose is easy and willing to communicate with you over all concerns. We have never regretted choosing this home when we visit Ocean Springs .

We came down for a short vacation. Rose was easy to communicate with. The house was nice, the beds are comfy and the dogs loved the yard. It was great to stay somewhere with a fully fenced yard.

We enjoyed our stay. Our daisy loved to run. It was very well equipped and the owner answered quickly. As a casino goer I visited the casinos and nice to have a 1 level for stay! My husband and daisy went to the beach. Daisy is our dog!

Rose was an amazing host! We have used VRBO before for trips and this was by far our easiest check-in as well. The location is great and the house was so comfortable. Our dog had a great time as well. She made two new friends with the turtles in the backyard. We highly recommend this property, and are planning another stay in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at the house and will be back. The living area and amount of bedrooms/bathrooms was perfect for our family. The fenced in yard was great for our dog. The a/c worked great even in the hottest part of the summer. We also enjoyed all the seating on the back porch. The location was fantastic. The owner was very responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. TVs in all the bedrooms and family room. It felt like our home, and the neighborhood was quiet. We had rain storms a couple of days we were there, but it was good just resting in this comfortable house.

We can for a wedding in the park and stayed for the first parade of Mardi Gras season. Ocean springs had a lot of offer our group. The garden retreat was a very nice house with access to all of those things. 10/10 will stay again.

Unusual freezing temperatures in Ocean Springs and across the country did not dampen our family’s holiday gathering. Rose’s VRBO A well established kitchen, and an active downtown helped make it an enjoyable week. 👍👍👍

This was our second stay at this property in the last two years, and it was just as lovely and accommodating as the first time. We had eight sleeping with us, including a couple of younger kids who slept comfortably on the wraparound couch. This house was also the gathering place for our family Christmas with my parents and my sister and her family. This house easily fit the 15 people who gathered together for gift exchanges and big meals. We had a great holiday down on the Gulf Coast!

Delightful Thanksgiving stay for our family and pooch! The fenced, landscaped backyard - complete with a lemon tree - was easily enjoyed from the patio and sunroom. The large living room allowed us to gather and watch lots of sports. We enjoyed Ocean Spring’s sights and restaurants as well as some much needed downtime. Rose, the host, is so sweet and accommodating. You will enjoy the Garden Retreat!

This was our 2nd time renting this house and it was just as good as the first. Ocean springs is a great town and this house is conveniently located to the center. House is clean, plenty of room for our family, and in a nice neighborhood. Definitely recommend this place.

This vacation home was in a wonderful location, very nice, and very well equipped. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 dogs. We all had a great time, even the dogs. The back yard was truly a garden retreat. We would love to go back some day.

This house is located on a quiet street and close (walking distance) to downtown Ocean Springs. Our check in was super easy and fast. Common area for the family was big and open (was great) kitchen had everything we needed and then some. Bedrooms are nice size (beds super comfy) and it was super nice to have 2 full bathrooms. Sunroom was a plus for us:) We will be back soon! Thank you Rose for such a pleasant stay:)

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was stocked with everything you need. The location was excellent, easy access to all activities that you may be considering. Quiet neighborhood, friendly people all around. The backyard was beautiful, my dogs loved it. Lots of squirrels, frogs and turtles. Plenty of entertainment for my two little buddies. Only thing maybe needing improvement would be some new throw rugs that don't move around much (trip hazard for elderly). Maybe a slight upgrade in bathroom TP. Overall...we loved it very much and highly recommend. The host was wonderful and responsive to all request and questions.

Clean, well kept home. Comfortable rooms/beds, large great room, great sun room and fenced yard. The neighborhood is quiet and located within walking distance from the old part of “downtown” Ocean Springs. And the town itself provided a nice getaway with great sights and food. Highly recommended!
